WIRING INSTRUCTIONS
■SCREW TERMINAL
Torque: 0.8 N·m
CHECKING
1) Terminal wiring: Check that all cables are correctly con-
nected according to the connection diagram.
2) Power input voltage: Check voltage across the terminal
7 – 8 with a multimeter.
3) Input: Check that the input signal is within 0 – 100% of
the full-scale.
4) Output: Check that the load resistance meets the de-
scribed specifications.
ADJUSTMENT PROCEDURE
This unit is calibrated at the factory to meet the ordered
specifications and within the described accuracy.
Adjustment procedure is as follows:
Ratio Monitor (+)
Bias Monitor (+)
COM. (–)
Ratio Adj.
Bias Adj.
• Ratio: Turn the ratioadjustment checking voltage across
the monitor terminals (providing 0.5 – 3V for full scale
ratio 0.5 – 3.0).
• Bias: Turn the bias adjustment checking voltage across
the monitor terminals (providing -1 to +1V for bias -100
to + 100%).
Use test leads of 2.00 mm dia. for Ratio, Bias, COM termi-
nals.
Ratio is factory set to 1 and bias to 0%.
EQUATION
Xo = KXi + B
where Xo : Output (%)
K: Ratio (linear characteristics 0.5 to 3)
Xi : Input (approx. -10 to +120%)
B: Bias (-100 to +100%)
MAINTENANCE
Regular calibration procedure is explained below:
■CALIBRATION
Warm up the unit for at least 10 minutes. Apply the input
signals which should lead the calculated results as 0%, 25%,
50%, 75% and 100%. Check that the output signal for the
respective input signal remains within accuracy described
in the data sheet. When the output is out of tolerance, re-
calibrate the unit according to the “ADJUSTMENT PRO-
CEDURE” explained earlier.
LIGHTNING SURGE PROTECTION
We offer a series of lightning surge protector for protec-
tion against induced lightning surges. Please contact us to
