Do not fillthe kettle with water, while kettle is on the base. Make sure the kettle
base is completely dry before operating.
Close supervision is necessary when using the appliance near children or
handicapped.
The electric kettle must be operated on a flat surface. Do not place kettle on
or near a gas or electric stove, or on top of other electric appliances.
The metal surface of the kettle can get hot when in use. Carry the kettle
using the handle and beware of hot steam coming from the spout or lid when
refilling. Do not open the lid while kettle is in use.
Do not use the kettle to heat anything other than water. Do not fill kettle
above the "max" line. Do not operate kettle if water is belowthe specified
minimum amount.
Do not let the power cable hang over the edge of the table, or come into
contact with hot surfaces. Always keepthe power cord stored in the base unit for
safety and unwind only as needed.
Do not immerse any part of the appliance in water or any other liquid. Do not
use the kettle with an extension cord unless the cord has been checked and
tested by a qualified technician. Only plug the kettle into a power outlet with
the same voltage as specified on the kettle.
If the power cord of the kettle is damaged, do not use the kettle. It must be
replaced by the manufacturer or authorized personnel.
If the kettle is filled beyond the maximum specified amount, water may spill.
The kettle is to be used only with the provided base.
Do not switch on if the water in the kettle is frozen.
WARNING:Do not open the lid while the water is boiling.

Midea's Accredited Service Center for examination and repair. Never repair
the kettle by yourself.
WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not disassemble the
appliance by yourself.
Do not use the kettle with any other base unit other than the one supplied. The
use of other accessories not recommended by the manufacturer may result in
fire, electric shock or personal injury or harm.
Do not insert any object into the slots or holes of the kettle.
This appliance is intended for household use or similar applications only, such as:
Staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments; Farm houses;
by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments.
Do not use outdoors.
Keepthe appliance and its cord out of reach of children under 8 years old.
Make sure lid is closed properly so that steam is directed away
from the handle.
Ensure that appliance is swtched off before removing kettle
from the base.

Incorrect use of kettle may result in serious burns. Strict supervision is
recommended.
The kettle can be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge only if given proper supervision
or instruction concerning the proper use of the kettle.

How To Use

For first time use or using after not using kettle for a long time, it is recommended
that you fill the kettle with fresh water to the max level, boil and empty the kettle at
least 2 times to clear the kettle of any tiny particles. Do not drink the water used for
this.
Press the lid switch and the lid flips open automatically.
Remove the kettle from the base. Fill the kettle with desired amount of water (no
less than the minimum, no more than the maximum). Close the lid. Place the
kettle back on the base.
Connect the plug to a power outlet (220~240V AC), turn the kettle on by
pressing the power switch. The light will illuminate to indicate the kettle is
heating the water.
The kettle will automatically stop (indicated by the light turning off) once the
water has boiled.
Lift the kettle from the base and pour the water into a container.

Add 0.5L white vinegar and fill the kettle with water. Allow to stand for at least
1 hour.
Empty the solution from the kettle. Wipe of remaining deposits with a damp
cloth.

To prolong the lifespan of the kettle, please clean the kettle
regularly to prevent mineral deposit build up.
After use, always unplug and let kettle cool down before cleaning.
Do not use chemical, steel wool or abrasive cleaners to clean the
outside of the kettle as these may scratch the surface and cause
the color to fade.
