To use Handsfree Operation to make calls:

an outgoing line, press the key labeled with

microphone
To use Handsfree Operation to answer a call:

To hang up while using Handsfree Operation:

To temporarily disable the microphone during a
Handsfree conversation:

To re-enable the microphone and return to the
conversation:

CONFERENCE
To form a Conference when a two-party call is
already in place, or to add another party to an
existing Conference:

To leave a Conference:

REMINDER: When you initiate a conference call, any
long distance usage charges will be billed to your
phone line. You can have up to five callers on the
line during a conference call.

CONFERENCE SPLIT
To Split a Conference and speak privately with the
original party:

To move a call on Hold to another Line Appearance

To add a call on Hold to an existing conversation or
conference:

CALL FORWARD –
EXTERNAL/INTERNAL EXTENSIONS
Call Forward lets you redirect incoming calls to an
alternate number. “External Calls” redirects your
incoming external calls only; “Internal Calls” redirects
your incoming internal calls only. If you want to
redirect both external and internal calls, you must
program each separately.
“Always Forward” redirects all incoming calls. “No
Answer” redirects calls after several rings if you
don’t answer. “Busy” redirects calls when your
telephone is busy. “Busy/No Answer” redirects calls
when your telephone is busy or when you don’t
answer.
REMINDER: When forwarding calls to an external
number, you must first store that number as a
Speed Call number. See Speed Call Keys section
for instructions.
To program Call Forward:

Press SUPERKEY

Press the More softkey until “Call Forwarding”
appears.

Press the Yes softkey

Do one of the following:
—To program external forwarding, press the
Change softkey
—To program internal forwarding, press the
No softkey followed by the Change softkey

Press the Program softkey

Press the No softkey until the desired type of
call forwarding appears

Press the Yes softkey
“TO:” prompt will appear

Select the desired Speed Call key

To turn Call Forward on and off (once it has been
programmed):

CALLBACK
To request a Callback when you reach a busy or
unanswered telephone:

CALL PARK
This application is not configured on all systems.
Please check with your TelePacific trainer for
clarification.
Call Park puts calls in an orbit mode freeing up your
incoming lines and allowing other system users to
pick up a parked call from any phone. You may park
up to 25 calls at one time.
To park a call:

Answer the incoming call

Press the Call Park softkey

Read the LCD display before replacing the
handset in the cradle. The LCD will display
where the call is parked. (Example: “@*401”)

Announce the parked call by Overhead Page
or All Phone Page
To retrieve a parked call:

Pick up the handset of any phone and dial the
*key followed by the voice announced park
code
CAMPON
To Campon to a busy station:

Press the I Will Wait softkey
To retrieve a call when you hear the Campon tone:

Press the Call Waiting softkey

REMINDER: To enable this feature, your internal
forwarding must be set to “When No Answer.”

Enter the Index Number. You may not use
97 or 98 as your Index Number. These are
reserved for TelePacific’s use.

Enter the telephone number. If the number
you are entering is an internal extension,
dial the 4-digit extension. If the number you
are entering is an external number, enter a
“9” before entering the 7 or 10-digit phone
number.

Press the Save softkey

Repeat this process to continue building your
Speed List

Once list has been programmed, all employees
may use it by entering the #key, followed by
the 6key and the list Index Number.

Each company can program a Master Speed
List up to 998 numbers
NIGHT ANSWER
Night answer is an after hours application. This
feature may differ for each business. Please check
with your TelePacific trainer for clarification.
To forward your calls to voicemail or an answering
service (After Hours):

Press the More softkey until the Night Answer
softkey appears

Press the Night Answer softkey

Select Night Appropriate. Your incoming
business lines will now forward to the selected
night answer destination.
To take calls off Night Answer (Day Mode):

will now ring to the selected day mode
