Switch Mode Power Supply Unit

1 Applications

This switch mode power supply unit with switchable out-

put voltage serves for direct current supply of electric

low-voltage units (e.g. portable CD player, notebook).

The unit is short circuit-proof and protected against

overload and overheating.

2 Safety Notes

The unit corresponds to the directive for electromagnetic

compatibility 89/336/EEC and to the low voltage direc-

tive 73/23/EEC.

●The unit is suitable for indoor use only. Protect it

against dripping water and splash water, high air

humidity, and heat (admissible ambient temperature

range 0–40°C).

●Do not place any vessels filled with liquid, e.g. drink-

ing glasses, on the unit.

●Do not operate the power supply unit or immediately

disconnect it from the mains socket

1. if there is visible damage to the unit or the mains

cable,

2. if a defect might have occurred after the unit was

dropped or suffered a similar accident,

3. if malfunctions occur.

In any case the unit must be repaired by skilled per-

sonnel.

Attention! The unit is supplied with hazardous mains

voltage. Leave servicing to skilled personnel only. In-

expert handling may cause an electric shock hazard.

Furthermore, any guarantee claim will expire if the unit

has been opened.

●Adamaged mains cable must only be replaced by the

manufacturer or by authorized, skilled personnel.

●Never pull the mains cable to disconnect the mains

plug from the mains socket, always seize the plug.

●For cleaning only use a dry, soft cloth; never use

chemicals or water.

●No guarantee claims for the unit and no liability for any

resulting personal damage or material damage will be

accepted if the unit is used for other purposes than

originally intended, if it is not correctly connected, if it

is overloaded, or not repaired in an expert way.

●If the unit is to be put out of operation definitively, take

it to a local recycling plant for a disposal which is not

harmful to the environment.

The wires in this mains lead are coloured in accord-

ance with the following code:

blue = neutral, brown = live

As the colours of the wires in the mains lead of this

appliance may not correspond with the coloured

markings identifying the terminals in your plug, pro-

ceed as follows:

1. The wire which is coloured blue must be connected

to the terminal in the plug which is marked with the

letter Nor coloured black.

2. The wire which is coloured brown must be con-

nected to the terminal which is marked with the let-

ter Lor coloured red.

3 Operation

1) Adjust the required operating voltage for the low-volt-

age unit: Use the supplied adjusting key to set the

yellow voltage selector switch to the required voltage

value.

1 Einsatzmöglichkeiten

Dieses Schaltnetzgerät mit umschaltbarer Ausgangs-

spannung dient zur Gleichstromversorgung von elek-

trischen Kleinspannungsgeräten (z.B. tragbarer CD-

Player, Notebook). Das Gerät ist kurzschlussfest und

gegen Überlast und Überhitzung geschützt.

2 Hinweise für den sicheren Gebrauch

Das Gerät entspricht der Richtlinie für elektromagneti-

sche Verträglichkeit 89/336/EWG und der Niederspan-

nungsrichtlinie 73/23/EWG.

●Verwenden Sie das Gerät nur im Innenbereich. Schüt-

zen Sie es vor Tropf- und Spritzwasser, hoher Luft-

feuchtigkeit und Hitze (zulässiger Einsatztemperatur-

bereich 0–40°C).

●Stellen Sie keine mit Flüssigkeit gefüllten Gefäße,

z.B. Trinkglas, auf das Gerät.

●Nehmen Sie das Netzgerät nicht in Betrieb bzw. zie-

hen Sie sofort den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose:

1. wenn sichtbare Schäden am Gerät oder am Netz-

kabel vorhanden sind,

2. wenn nach einem Sturz oder Ähnlichem der Ver-

dacht auf einen Defekt besteht,

3. wenn Funktionsstörungen auftreten.

Lassen Sie das Gerät in jedem Fall in einer Fach-

werkstatt reparieren.

Achtung! Das Gerät wird mit lebensgefährlicher Netz-

spannung versorgt. Nehmen Sie nie selbst Eingriffe im

Gerätvor.Durchunsachgemäßes Vorgehenbesteht die

Gefahr eines elektrischen Schlages. Außerdem erlischt

beim Öffnen des Geräts jeglicher Garantieanspruch.

●Ein beschädigtes Netzkabel darf nur durch den Her-

steller oder durch eine autorisierte Fachwerkstatt er-

setzt werden.

●Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker nie am Kabel aus der

Steckdose, fassen Sie immer am Stecker an.

●Verwenden Sie zum Reinigen nur ein trockenes, wei-

ches Tuch, niemals Wasser oder Chemikalien.

●Wird das Gerät zweckentfremdet, nicht richtig an-

geschlossen, überlastet oder nicht fachgerecht repa-

riert, kann keine Haftung für daraus resultierende

Sach- oder Personenschäden und keine Garantie für

das Gerät übernommen werden.

●Soll das Gerät endgültig aus dem Betrieb genommen

werden, übergeben Sie es zur umweltgerechten Ent-

sorgung einem örtlichen Recyclingbetrieb.

3 Inbetriebnahme

1) Die benötigte Betriebsspannung für das Kleinspan-

nungsgerät einstellen: Mit dem beiliegenden Einstell-

schlüssel den gelben Spannungswahlschalter auf

den erforderlichen Spannungswert drehen.

Die Stromaufnahme des Kleinspannungsgeräts

darf den Ausgangsstrom des Netzgeräts für den ein-

gestellten Spannungswert (siehe Technische Daten)

nicht überschreiten.

2) Aus den beiliegenden 7Adaptersteckern den für das

Kleinspannungsgerät passenden auswählen und in

die Kupplung des Netzgerätkabels stecken. Dabei

unbedingt die für das Kleinspannungsgerät erforder-

liche Polarität beachten. Zum Bestimmen der Pola-

rität die Kupplung immer so drehen, dass die Pfeile

von Kupplung und Stecker aufeinander zeigen (siehe

Abbildungen unten).

3) Das Netzgerät über den Adapterstecker mit dem

Stromversorgungsanschluss des Kleinspannungs-

geräts verbinden.

4) Zuletzt den Netzstecker des Netzgeräts in eine

Steckdose (100–240V~, 50/60Hz) stecken. Die

rote LED leuchtet im Betrieb.

Auch wenn das angeschlossene Gerät ausgeschaltet

ist, verbraucht das Netzgerät einen geringen Strom. Da-

rum sollte sein Netzstecker aus der Steckdose gezogen

werden, wenn es längere Zeit nicht gebraucht wird.

The current consumption of the low-voltage unit

must not exceed the output current of the power sup-

ply unit for the voltage value adjusted (see table in

the specifications).

2) Select the matching plug for the low-voltage unit from

the 7 adapter plugs supplied and connect it to the in-

line jack of the cable of the power supply unit. In any

case observe the required polarity for the low-volt-

age unit. To determine the polarity, always turn the

inline jack in such a way that the arrows of inline jack

and plug face each other (see figures below).

3) Connect the power supply unit via the adapter plug to

the power supply connection of the low-voltage unit.

4) Finally connect the mains plug of the power supply

unit to a mains socket (100–240V~, 50/60Hz). The

red LED is illuminated during operation.

Even with the unit connected switched off, the power

supply unit has a low current consumption. Therefore, it

is recommended to disconnect it from the mains socket

if it is not used for a longer period.

Alimentation à découpage

1 Possibilités d’utilisation

Cette alimentation à découpage avec tension de sortie

commutable sert à l’alimentation courant continu d’ap-

pareils électriques basse tension (par exemple lecteur

CD portable, note book). Elle est protégée contre les

courts-circuits, surcharges et surchauffes.

2 Conseils d’utilisation et de sécurité

L’appareil répond à la norme européenne 89/336/CEE

relative à la compatibilité électromagnétique et à la

norme européenne 73/23/CEE portant sur les appareils

à basse tension.

●L’appareil n’est conçu que pour une utilisation en

intérieur. Protégez-le de tout type de projections

d’eau, des éclaboussures, d’une humidité élevée et

de la chaleur (plage de température de fonctionne-

ment autorisée : 0–40°C).

●En aucun cas, vous ne devez poser d’objet contenant

du liquide ou un verre sur l’appareil.

●Ne faites pas fonctionner l’alimentation ou débran-

chez-la immédiatement du secteur lorsque :

1. des dommages apparaissent sur l’appareil,

2. après une chute ou un cas similaire, vous avez un

doute sur l’état de l’appareil,

Attention ! L’appareilest alimentéparune tensiondan-

gereuse. Ne touchez jamais l’intérieur de l’appareil car

en cas de mauvaise manipulation, vous pouvez subir

une décharge électrique. En outre, l’ouverture de l’ap-

pareil rend tout droit à la garantie caduque.

3. des dysfonctionnements apparaissent.

Faites toujours appel à un technicien spécialisé pour

effectuer les réparations.

●Tout cordon secteur endommagé ne doit être rem-

placé que par le fabricant ou un atelier de réparation

habilité.

●Ne débranchez jamais l’appareil en tirant sur le cor-

don secteur, tenez-le toujours par la prise.

●Pour nettoyer l’appareil, utilisez uniquement un chif-

fon sec et doux, en aucun cas, de produits chimiques

ou d’eau.

●Nous déclinons toute responsabilité en cas de dom-

mages corporels ou matériels résultants si l’appareil

est utilisé dans un but autre que celui pour lequel il a

été conçu, s’il n’est pas correctement branché, s’il y a

surcharge ou s’il n’est pas réparé par une personne

habilitée, de même, la garantie deviendrait caduque.

●Lorsque l’appareil est définitivement retiré du service,

vous devez le déposer dans une usine de recyclage

adaptée pour contribuer à son élimination non pol-

luante.

3 Fonctionnement

1) Réglez la tension de fonctionnement nécessaire

pour l’appareil à basse tension : avec la clé livrée,

tournez le sélecteur de tension jaune sur la valeur

nécessaire.

La consommation de l’appareil basse tension ne

doit pas dépasser le courant de sortie de l’alimenta-

tion pour la valeur de tension réglée (voir caractéris-

tiques techniques).

2) Sélectionnez l’adaptateur correspondant à l’appareil

basse tension parmi les 7 adaptateurs livrés et bran-

chez-le dans la prise du cordon de l’alimentation.

Pour ce faire, respectez impérativement la polarité

nécessaire pour l’appareil basse tension. Pour déter-

miner la polarité, tournez toujours la prise de telle

sorte que la flèche de la prise et celle de la fiche se

fassent face (voir dessins ci-dessous).

3) Reliez l’alimentation via l’adaptateur à la connexion

d’alimentation sur l’appareil basse tension.

4) Enfin reliez l’alimentation à une prise secteur 100–

240V~, 50/60Hz. La LED sur l’appareil brille en

rouge pendant le fonctionnement.

Même lorsque l’appareil relié est éteint, l’alimentation a

une faible consommation. Il est recommandé de la

débrancher du secteur si elle ne doit pas être utilisée

pendant une longue période.

1 Possibilità d’impiego

Questo alimentatore switching con tensione d’uscita

commutabile serve per alimentare apparecchi elettrici a

tensione bassa (p.es. lettori CD portatili, notebook) con

corrente continua. L’apparecchio è resistente ai cortocir-

cuiti e protetto contro sovraccarico e surriscaldamento.

2 Avvertenze di sicurezza

Quest’apparecchio è conforme alle direttive CE 89/336/

CEE sulla compatibilità elettromagnetica e 73/23/CEE

per apparecchi a bassa tensione.

●Far funzionare l’apparecchio solo all’interno di locali.

Proteggerlo dall’acqua gocciolante e dagli spruzzi

d’acqua, da alta umidità dell’aria e dal calore (tempe-

ratura d’impiego ammessa fra 0 e 40°C).

●Non depositare sull’apparecchio dei contenitori riem-

piti di liquidi, p.es. bicchieri.

●Non mettere in funzione l’apparecchio e staccare su-

bito la spina rete se:

1. l’apparecchio o il cavo rete presenta dei danni visi-

bili;

2. dopo una caduta o dopo eventi simili sussiste il

sospetto di un difetto;

Attenzione!

L’apparecchio funziona con tensione di rete pericolosa.

Non intervenire mai al suo interno; la manipolazione

scorretta può provocare delle scariche pericolose.

Se l’apparecchio viene aperto, cessa ogni diritto di

garanzia.

3. l’apparecchio non funziona correttamente.

Per la riparazione rivolgersi sempre ad un’officina

competente.

●Il cavo rete, se danneggiato, deve essere sostituito

solo dal costruttore o da un laboratorio autorizzato.

●Staccare il cavo rete afferrando la spina, senza tirare

il cavo.

●Per la pulizia usare solo un panno morbido, asciutto;

nonimpiegare innessun casoprodotti chimicioacqua.

●Nel caso d’uso improprio, di collegamenti sbagliati, di

sovraccarico o di riparazione non a regola d’arte

dell’alimentatore, non si assume nessuna responsabi-

lità per eventuali danni consequenziali a persone o a

cose e non si assume nessuna garanzia per lo stru-

mento.

●Se si desidera eliminare l’apparecchio definitivamen-

te, consegnarlo per lo smaltimento ad un’istituzione

locale per il riciclaggio.

3 Messa in funzione

1) Impostare la tensione d’esercizio richiesta per l’ap-

parecchio a tensione bassa: posizionare il selettore

giallo della tensione sul valore necessario servendo-

si della chiave in dotazione.

La corrente assorbita dell’apparecchio a tensione

bassa non deve superare la corrente d’uscita dell’ali-

mentatore relativa alla tensione impostata (vedi Dati

tecnici).

2) Fra i 7 connettori adattatori in dotazione scegliere

quello adatto per l’apparecchio a tensione bassa ed

inserirlo nel connettore femmina del cavo dell’alimen-

tatore rispettando assolutamente la polarità come è

richiesta dall’apparecchio a tensione bassa. Per

determinare la polarità girare sempre il connettore

femmina in modo che le frecce dei connettori

maschio e femmina corrispondano (vedi le illustrazio-

ni in basso).

3) Collegare l’alimentatore con il contatto di alimenta-

zione dell’apparecchio a tensione bassa servendosi

del connettore adattatore.

4) Alla fine inserire l’alimentatore in una presa di rete

(100–240V~, 50/60Hz). Il LED rosso è acceso

durante il funzionamento.

Anche se l’apparecchio collegato è spento, l’alimentato-

re consuma un po’ di corrente. Perciò conviene staccar-

lo dalla presa se non serve per un periodo prolungato.

1 Aplicaciones

Este alimentador con voltaje de salida conmutable se

utiliza par alimentación de corriente continua de unida-

des eléctricas de bajo voltaje, p.ej. un CD portátil o una

agenda. El alimentador está probado contra los corto-

circuitos y protegido contra las sobrecargas y el sobre-

calentamiento.

2 Consejos de utilización y de seguridad

Este aparato cumple con la normativa europea 89/336/

CEE relacionada con la compatibilidad electromagnéti-

ca y con la normativa 73/23/CEE relacionada con los

aparatos de baja tensión.

●El aparato está fabricado solo para una utilización en

interior. No lo exponga a las proyecciones de agua,

salpicaduras, a una fuerte humedad y al calor (tem-

peratura de funcionamiento aconsejada 0–40°C.

●No poner recipientes llenados de líquido, p.ej. vasos,

etc., sobre el aparato.

●No haga nunca funcionar el alimentador y desconéc-

telo inmediatamente de la toma principal cuando:

1. Aparecen daños en el aparato y en el cable de red.

2. Después de una caída o accidente similar..., el

aparato pueda presentar un defecto.

¡Atención! Este aparato está alimentado par una ten-

sión peligrosa. No manipule nunca el interior del apa-

rato, podría en caso de manipulación inadecuada,

sufrir una descarga eléctrica mortal. Además, la aper-

tura del aparato niega todo derecho de garantía.

3. Aparece mal funcionamiento.

En todos los casos, los daños deben repararse por un

técnico cualificado y especializado.

●Todo cable de red dañado debe solamente ser cam-

biado por el fabricante o personal especial, autoriza-

do.

●No desconecte nunca el aparato tirando directamen-

te del cable de conexión, siempre sujételo siempre

por la toma.

●Para limpiarlo utilizar sólo un trapo seco y suave;

nunca utilizar productos químicos o agua.

●Rechazamos todo tipo de responsabilidad en caso de

daños materiales o corporales resultandos si el apa-

rato se utiliza en otro fin para el cual ha sido fabrica-

do, si no está correctamente conectado o reparado

por una persona habilitada o si hay sobrecarga; por

estosmismos motivos careceríatodo tipodegarantía.

●Cuando el aparato está definitivamente sacado del

servicio, debe depositarlo en una fábrica de reciclaje

de proximidad para contribuir a una eliminación no

contaminante.

3 Funcionamiento

1) Ajustar el voltaje operativo necesario para la unidad

de bajo voltaje: Utilizar la llave proporcionada para

colocar el selector de voltaje amarillo hasta el valor

de voltaje necesario.

El consumo de la unidad de bajo voltaje conecta-

da no debe exceder la corriente de salida del ali-

mentador para el valor de voltaje ajustado (ver tabla

de especificaciones).

2) Seleccionar la toma adecuada para la unidad de bajo

voltaje de las 7 tomas adaptadas entregadas y

conectarla a la toma de entrada del cable del ali-

mentador. En todo caso observar la polaridad ne-

cesaria para la unidad a conectar. Para determinar la

polaridad, siempre girar la toma de entrada de mane-

ra que las flechas de la toma de entrada y de la toma

macho estén cara a cara (ver figuras debajo).

3) Conectar el alimentador a través de la toma adapta-

da a la conexión de alimentación de la unidad de

bajo voltaje.

4) Finalmente conectar el alimentador al enchufe prin-

cipal (100–240V~, 50/60Hz). El LED rojo se ilumi-

na durante el funcionamiento.

Incluso con la unidad eléctrica apagada, el alimentador

tiene un pequeño consumo. Así que es recomendable

desconectar el alimentador de la toma principal si no se

utiliza durante un largo periodo.

służy do zasilania urządzeń elektronicznych o ały

poborze ocy (np. przenośne radio, notebook). Zasi-

lacz posiada układy przeciwzwarciowe, oraz obwody

chroniące przed przeciążenie oraz przegrzanie .

3Obsługa

1) Ustawić wy agane napięcie zasilające w zależno-

ści od podłączanego urządzenia: Ustawić przełącz-

nik na odpowiedniej pozycji, wskazującej napięcie

wyjściowe.

Pobór prądu przez zasilane urządzenie nie oże

przekraczać aksy alnego prądu który jest w sta-

nie oddać zasilacz, dla danego napięcia wyjściowe-

go (zob. tabelę z para etra i zasilacza).

2) Wybrać spośród dołączonych 7 końcówek odpo-

wiednią dla zasilanego urządzenia. Podłączyć ją do

gniazda nakablowego zasilacza. Należy uważać

na odpowiednią polaryzac ę: strzałki na gnieź-

dzie nakablowy oraz końcówce uszą być po tej

sa ej stronie (zob. rys. poniżej).

3) Podłączyć końcówkę zasilacza do urządzenia.

4) Podłączyć zasilacz do sieci (100 – 240 V~, 50/60 Hz).

Zapali się czerwona dioda LED.

Nawet jeśli zasilane urządzenie jest wyłączone, zasi-

lacz będzie pobierał z sieci nieznaczną ilość energii.

Dlatego też, przy dłuższy czasie nieużytkowania,

zasilacz należy odłączyć od sieci.
