INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
EMK 10
General
This manual applies to the accessories EMK 10-22 and EMK
10-28, which are supplied in separate packaging together
with this manual.
These accessories are used to measure the amount of energy
produced by HBS 12/HBS 16 and supplied for hot water,
heating and cooling in the building.
The function of the energy meter is to measure the difference
in flow and temperature over the heat exchanger in the in-
door module. The value is shown on a separate display.
EMK 10-22 is used to measure the amount of energy supplied
by HEV 300/HEV 500 for producing hot water.
EMK 10-28 measures the amount of energy supplied by HBS
12/HBS 16 for producing heating and cooling.
The NIBE SPLIT system with water heater HEV 300 or HEV
500 uses both EMK 10-22 and EMK 10-28. In installations
where NIBE SPLIT is used solely for heating/cooling, only EMK
10-28 is used.
