1. Master Keys - Turn the
zone on and play the
selected source device
(Radio, iPod, CD,
Satellite, etc.)
2. Control Keys
- Control
the zone Volume Up/
Down, plus appropriate
playback functions such
as Play, Pause, Previous,
and Next
3. Off Key - Press to turn off
the zone. Press-and-hold
for three seconds to turn
off the entire system
4. Mute Key - Press to mute
the sound volume in the
zone. Press again to
restore the volume
5. Built-In IR Sensor - A
plasma and LCD-proof
infrared (IR) sensor for
wireless remote control
operation

BASIC OPERATION
1. Press a Master Key to turn on the selected source
2. Press the Vol + Key to raise the zone volume level,
or the Vol – key to lower the zone volume level.
3. Press the Mute Key to mute the volume in the zone.
To restore the volume, press the Mute, Vol +, Vol -,
or any Master Key.
4. Press the Off Key to turn off the zone. Press-and-
hold the Off Key for more than three seconds to
turn off ALL zones

PLAY THE RADIO
1. Press the Top Left Master Key (usually labeled
Radio). The zone will turn on and play the last
tuned radio station.
2. To scan to the next preset radio station, press the
Radio Key again.
3. To scan through all stations, press the
< or the > Key.

PLAY THE iPod®
1. Press the Top Right Master Key labeled iPod. The
iPod will begin playing the last played song with
the repeat mode active.
2. Press the iPod Key to toggle through playlists.
3. Press the < Key to select the previous song or the
> Key to select the next song.
4. Press the Play/Pause Key to put the iPod into
pause. Press again to resume play.

PLAYING SOURCES 3 - 6
1. Press the Master Key for the source device you
want (for example: CD). If your system was
programmed for One Touch To Entertainment™,
the source device will turn on and begin playing,
based on your personal preferences.
PARTY MODE
Turn on all enabled zones to play the same source
while entertaining guests.
1. Press-and-hold any Master Key for three seconds to
initiate the Party Mode.

ZONE BASS ADJUSTMENT
1. Simultaneously press-and-hold the Mute Key and
the Middle Right Master Key for five seconds. The
Master Key will blink.
2. Press the Vol + Key to increase the bass, or the Vol
– Key to decrease the bass.
3. To save your change and exit the bass adjustment
mode, simultaneously press-and-hold the Mute Key
and the Middle Right Master Key for five seconds
and then release.

the Middle Left Master Key for five seconds. The
Master Key will blink.
2. Press the Vol + Key to increase the treble, or the
Vol – Key to decrease the treble.
3. To save your change and exit the treble adjustment
mode, simultaneously press-and-hold the Mute Key
and the Middle Left Master Key for five seconds
and then release.

ZONE VARIABLE LOUDNESS ON OR OFF
1. Simultaneously press-and-hold the Mute Key and the
Top Left Master key for five seconds. The Master Key
will blink.
2. Press the Vol + Key to turn the variable loudness on,
or the Vol – Key to turn the variable loudness off.
3. To save your change and exit the variable loudness
adjustment mode, simultaneously press-and-hold
the Mute Key and the Top Left Master Key for five
seconds and then release.
