1. LCD Display -Provides the source metadata (album,
song, artist,
and playlist information) needed to
access
and control today's digital entertainment
2. Soft
Keys - The function of these keys appears in the
LCD screen above and changes based on the selected
source
or menu
3. Niles Key -
Press to access the source selection
menu. Press-end-hold
for three seconds to access the
keypad setup menu.
When the zone is turned off,
pressing the
Niles key selects the last-played source
4. Radio Key -Selects and plays the AM/FM tuner with
One Touch To Entertainment™ simplicity

Off Key - Press to turn the zone off. Press-and-hold for
three seconds to turn
off all zones
6. iPod Key -Selects and plays the connected iPod with
One Touch To Entertainment™ simplicity
7. Control Keys - Keys that control the zone Volume Up/
Down, plus appropriate playback functions such as
Play, Pause, Previous, and Next
8. Mute Key - Press to mute the volume in the zone. Press
again to restore the volume to its previous level
9. Built-In IR Sensor -Aplasma/LCD proof infrared (IR)
sensor for wireless remote control operation

1. Press-and-hold the Niles Logo Soft Key for three
seconds.
The Setup menu appears.
2.
Press the Vol +and Vol - Keys to highlight Audio
Settings, then press the Play/Pause/Select Key.
3. Press the Vol +and Vol - Keys to highliqht the
menu options: Treble,
Bass, and Loudness.
4.
When Treble or Bass are highlighted, adjust the
level using
the < and> Keys. The level is indicated
by the sliding bar graph. To return the tone adjust-
ment to its default setting, press the Default Soft Key.
5. When loudness is highlighted, use the < and> Keys
to select Loudness ON or Loudness OFF.

OPERATING A LISTENING ZONE
1. When the LCD screen i do k and the zone is off,
press the Niles Logo Soft Key Qturn the zone on

2. Press the Radio Key play the radio.
3. Press thp iPod Key 0 play the iPod.
4. To ploy a source other than the radio or iPod:

1. While in the iPod menu, press the iPod key to initiate
the alphabetical search function.
2. The letter Ilk' will be displayed in large text.
3.
Press the Vol +and Vol - Keys to scroll through the
alphabet
(the #symbol selects all menu items that
don't begin with aletter).
4. When the desired letter is displayed, press the Play/
Pause/Select
Key. The screen will jump to the menu
items beginning wIth that letter.
