Flammability
The Visco Cushion meetsthe requirements of BS6807:2006 for medium hazard.
The interior materials meet the requirements of The Furniture & Furnishings (Fire)
(Safety) Regulations 1988.
User Instructions
The Visco Cushion has been designed for use in wheelchairs and/or day care chairs, by
patients in the medium to high risk category
, with a weight guide of up to 127 Kgs / 20
stones.
Ensure that the surface of the chair seat is clear from debris before placing the cushion
– debris can damage the coating of thefabric.
The label on this cushion has a unique batch number which should be used in the event
of a warranty claim. NEVERremove the label.
Removing the Cover
The cover on this cushion is removable for cleaning purposes. Always ensure that, if
removed, the cover is returned to the same inner. Using this cover on a different
cushion core MAY render the warranty invalid.
Screen printing on the cover of the cushion indicates its base and top. Always sit on the
coloured side of the cover NOT the silver. The pink foam is the upper surface and
should be placed into the “lid” of the cover with the white surface on the base.
The sewn flap coversa water-resistant zip on three sides. This zip should be positioned
to the sides and rear of the cushion.
Following the above instructions will ensure that there is no front seam other than that at
the lower edge of the cushion.
Instructions for use are screen printed onto the outer cover of the product for ease of
reference.
Indication of use based upon interface pressure readings– not a prescriptive criteria. Always defer to clinician’s
judgement.
•For general cleaning andsuperficial dirt, usea single use wipe with a solution of
warm water andneutral detergent. Do not use abrasive orphenolic-based
cleaners.
•To disinfect insitu, use a 0.1% sodium hypochloride solution (1,000ppm chlorine)
If required, a 1% Chlorine solution (10,000ppm) andcold water may be applied
for not more than2 minutes
•Thoroughly rinse the cover with clean water and allowto dry before re-use or
storage
•Removable, contaminated covers should be laundered at 65ºC for not less than
10 minutes or at 95ºC, for not less than 3minutes. Do not mangle or iron.
•Spin & tumble dry at no morethan 60ºC
Warranty
Covered against faulty manufacture and materials as replacements goods.
Normal wear and tearexpected would not be included.

Storage & Care
Store the cushion flat – do not fold
Do not place heavy objectson the cushion surface when not in use
Do not allow sharp objects to penetrate the cover coating
Keep the cushion clean
Regularly inspect the cushion for visible soiling or damage
Do not store in damp conditions
