Mowbray Toilet Frame & Seat Extra Wide
General safety Warning
Please ensure these instructions are fully read
and implemented. Failure to do so may result
in injury. Retain this instruction manual in a
safe place for future reference.
Maximum User Weight
1.0 Intended Use
The Mowbray toilet frame and seat is designed
to assist those who have difficulty in lowering
onto and rising from a standard toilet. The
plastic moulded seat offers support in a natural
position and the frame is height adjustable.
2.0 Safety Precautions
Avoid extending the legs in a manner which
causes the seat to be on a slant.
Do not exceed the maximum user weight of
40st 254kg.
Avoid using the product on a wet or slippery
floor.
Do not attempt to stand on the frame or seat.
3.0 Unpacking
Remove all packaging and check all parts are
present and undamaged. Any suspected faults
or damage should immediately be reported to
the supplier and the product taken out of
action.
Spare and replacement parts are available for
this product, contact customer services.
4.0 Installation
Please note: The free standing versions
of this product are delivered ready
assembled. If your product is not
assembled, please follow instructions.
Fit the moulded toilet seat to the frame by
clipping onto the front and back cross
tubes as shown in the picture above.
To adjust the height:
Remove the ‘e-clips’, slide the legs
to the desired height, align the
holes and re-insert the ‘e-clips’.
Position frame around toilet.
Model M48817 only, secure the frame to
the floor by screwing down the fixing legs.

5.0 Cleaning
Clean frame and seat regularly using a general
purpose, neutral detergent and warm water.
To disinfect, wipe with a dilute bleach solution
and rinse thoroughly with fresh water.
Please check the suitability of the cleaning
product before use. Do not use abrasive cloths
or fluids.
The seat can be removed from the frame and
autoclaved on cycles up to 70°C.
6.0 Maintenance
Check that all ‘e-clips’ are inserted correctly
and floor fixing screws are secure. There
should be no excessive movement.
Regularly check the condition of the
ferrules.
Periodically inspect the product for signs of
general wear or damage. Report any
suspected faults to supplier and remove the
product from service.
7.0 Product Disposal
Product should be thoroughly cleaned prior
to disposal.
Product is manufactured from metal and
plastic and can be disposed of through
Local Authority Household Waste and
Recycling Centres or through Local Trade
Waste Collectors.
8.0 Product Guarantee
NRS Healthcare, guarantee this product for
a period of 12 months from the date of
purchase against faulty materials and
workmanship. This guarantee does not
cover; abuse, misuse, interference or
tampering with any part of the product.
Any guarantee issued by NRS Healthcare
does not affect your statutory rights.

to the same height to prevent the frame from
rocking. Height adjustment is not possible
once the legs are secured to the floor.
