Safety and
recommendations
Please take note of the following before using the Nuna Travel playpen.
Safety is very important to us and you can be assured that our products
comply with the relevant standards. If you have any questions or
comments regarding the Nuna Travel playpen, we will be glad to hear

INSTRUCTIONS FOR
FUTURE REFERENCE!
READ CAREFULLY.
Read these instructions carefully before use and keep them for future
reference. Your child’s safety may be affected if you do not follow these
instructions.
Playpen mode: Discontinue use of this product when child is able
to climb out, reaches the height of 27 inches (700 mm), or weighs
more than 30 pounds (14 kg).
Bassinet mode: Discontinue use of the bassinet mode when the
infant begins to push up on hands and knees or weighs over 15
pounds (6.8 kg), whichever comes first.

WARNINGS
Failure to follow these warnings may result in serious injury or death.
Setting up the playpen
!Be sure the product is completely set up before use,
including side rails fully erected, center of the floor
pushed down completely, and mattress/pad flat and
secured by the hook and loop straps.
!Never use this product if there are any loose or missing
fasteners, loose joints, broken parts, or torn mesh/fabric.
Check before assembly and periodically during use.
Contact ISIS Inc. for replacement parts and instructions,
if needed. Never substitute parts.
Using the Travel playpen
!Always provide the supervision necessary for the
continued safety of your child. When used for playing,
never leave child unattended.
!Discontinue use of this product when child is able to
climb out, reaches the height of 27 inches (700 mm), or
weighs more than 30 pounds (14 kg).
!Child can become entrapped and die when improvised
netting or covers are placed on top of product. Never
add such items to confine child in product.
! When child is able to pull to standing position, remove

large toys, and other objects that could serve as steps
for climbing out.
!To reduce the risk of SIDS, pediatricians recommend
healthy infants be placed on their back to sleep, unless
otherwise advised by your physician.
!DO NOT place the travel playpen close to an open fire
or other heat source such as stoves, heaters, fireplaces
and other hazards which can cause injury to your child.
!If a sheet is used with the pad, use only the one
provided by Nuna or one specifically designed to fit the
dimension of the pad.
!DO NOT modify playpen or add any attachments that
are not listed in the owner’s manual, including an add-
on bassinet. Never add such items to confine child in
playpen.
!If refinishing, use a nontoxic finish specified for
children’s products.
!NEVER leave accessory in place when child is in
playpen. If the accessory is in place, child in playpen
can lift or shift accessory and get neck trapped
between accessory and playpen frame. This could lead
to restriction of the child’s airway resulting in serious
injury or death.
Suffocation Hazards
Infants can suffocate
!In gaps between a mattress too small or too thick and
product sides.
!On soft bedding
!NEVER add a mattress, pillow, comforter, or padding.
Use ONLY mattress/pad provided by Nuna. Using a

thicker or a different sized mattress/pad may allow a
child’s head to get between mattress/pad and side of
the playpen causing suffocation.
! NEVER use plastic shipping bags or other plastic
film as mattress covers not sold and intended for that
purpose. They can cause suffocation.
! NEVER use a water mattress with this product
Strangulation Hazards
!Strings and cords can cause strangulation. Keep strings
and cords away from child.
!NEVER place the product near a window where cords
from blinds or drapes can strangle a child.
!NEVER hang strings on or over the product.
!NEVER place items with a string around a child’s neck,
such as hood strings, pacifier cords, etc.
!NEVER attach strings to toys.
BASSINET WARNINGS
Failure to follow these warnings and instructions could result in
serious injury or death.
SETTING UP THE BASSINET
!The bassinet must be fully assembled and installed
before using, including 4 mattress poles, 4 corner
buckles, 4 snaps under center flaps, and mattress/pad
flat, before using.

USING THE BASSINET
! You are responsible to provide adult supervision when
using your bassinet.
!Always keep the bassinet away from hazards in the area
that may injure your child.
SUFFOCATION HAZARD:
Infants can suffocate:
!In gaps between extra padding and side of the bassinet,
!On soft bedding.
Never add a mattress, pillow, comforter, or padding.
Use ONLY mattress/pad provided by Nuna.
!FALL HAZARD:
To help prevent falls, do not use this product when the
infant begins to push up on hands and knees or has
reached 15 pounds (6.8 kg), whichever comes first.
!STRANGULATION HAZARD:
Strings can cause strangulation! Do not place items with
a string around a child’s neck, such as hood strings or
pacifier cords. Do not suspend strings over a bassinet or
attach strings to toys.
!To reduce the risk of SIDS, pediatricians recommend
healthy infants be placed on their backs to sleep, unless
otherwise advised by your physician.
!Use bassinet with only one child at a time.
!Child can become entrapped and die when improvised
netting or covers are placed on top of product. Never add
such items to confine child in product.

How to set up the
travel playpen
Opening the Nuna travel playpen
Check that you have all the parts for this product before using it. The
assembly must be performed only by adults.
1 Pull the short sides of the travel playpen frame outward. (2)
2 Push the center of the floor down completely. (3)
3 Always use mattress soft side up. Place the mattress on the bottom
of the travel playpen. (4)
4 Push down on all four corners of the bottom of Playpen to assure
the mattress is flat.
5 5. Pull strap through bottom of playpen and wrap around tube and
refasten snap. Repeat on other corners. (5) (6)
How to attach
the bassinet
1 Remove the mattress from the bottom of the travel playpen. (7)
2 Place the bassinet into the travel playpen (8), wrapping the bassinet
fabric around the sides of the travel playpen frame. (9)
NOTE: Nuna logos on the travel playpen frame must line up with
Nuna logos on the bassinet.

3 Attach the snaps (10) on the bassinet fabric to the snaps at the center
of each side of the Travel Playpen. (11)
4 Attach the buckles (12) on four corners of the Travel Playpen.
(13). The buckles attached to the long webbing should loop through
the fabric loop on the Travel Playpen before being buckled.
5 Place the mattress in the bottom of the bassinet (4)Press down on
the four corners of the bottom of mattress to secure the mattress.

How to store

Storing the travel playpen
1 To store the travel playpen frame, fold the frame. (15, 16) Place
travel playpen inside storage bag. (17)
2 Slide the mattress into the storage bag beside the travel playpen
frame. (18)
3 Pull drawstring together.
Cleaning and
maintenance
Your Travel playpen can be spot cleaned with a sponge and mild soapy
water. The covering material is not removable. DO NOT soak. DO NOT use
bleach or harsh detergents. The Travel playpen must be thoroughly dried
before using or storing – Avoid exposure to heat and sunlight.
Your bassinet and Travel playpen bag can be washed in lukewarm water
using mild household soap and then drip-dry. DO NOT USE BLEACH.

All products include a serial label which lists the product model number
and serial number. Before contacting customer service, please have these
numbers available for reference.
Terms of warranty
The warranty takes effect at the date of purchase of the product and is valid
for one year. The warranty provides you with a right of repair but not a product
exchange or return. The warranty will not be extended even if some repairs
have been made. Nuna has the right to improve the design of the product
without any obligation to update the products manufactured previously.
The warranty will not apply in the following circumstances:
• If you cannot provide the sales receipt or proof of purchase of the
product.
• If the defect results from normal wear.
• If the defect results from an accident.
• If the defect results from a failure to follow the instructions of assembly,
use, care, and maintenance provided in the instruction manual.
• If the defect results from overloading (maximum weight = 15 kg).
• If repairs have been carried out by a third party.
• If the defect results from the use of accessories others than Nuna.

Mode parc : cesser d’utiliser le produit lorsque l’enfant est capable d’en
sortir ou dès qu’il atteint la taille de 700 mm (27 po) ou pèse plus de
14kg (30 lb).
Mode moïse : cesser d’utiliser le moïse lorsque l’enfant commence à
se mettre à quatre pattes ou dès que son poids dépasse 6,8 kg (15 lb),
selon celle de ces deux situations qui survient la première.

MISES EN GARDE
Le fait de ne pas respecter les présentes mises en garde et les instructions
pourrait entraîner des blessures graves ou mortelles.
Montage du parc
de voyage
S’assurer que le produit, y compris tous ses côtés, est
entièrement monté, que le fond est complètement baissé
et que le matelas est à plat et solidement attaché à l’aide
des bandes autoagrippantes.
Ne jamais utiliser ce produit s’il présente des attaches
desserrées ou manquantes, des articulations lâches, des
pièces brisées ou des déchirures. Vérifier l’état du produit
avant l’assemblage et régulièrement durant l’utilisation.
Au besoin, communiquer avec ISIS Inc. pour obtenir des
pièces de rechange ou le mode d’emploi. Ne faire aucune
substitution de pièces.
Utilisation du parc de
voyage
Toujours exercer la supervision nécessaire pour que
l’enfant soit en sécurité. Lorsque le parc est utilisé pour le
jeu, ne jamais laisser l’enfant sans surveillance.
Cesser d’utiliser le produit lorsque l’enfant est capable
d’en sortir ou dès qu’il atteint la taille de 700 mm (27 po)
ou pèse plus de 14 kg (30 lb).

L’enfant risque de se retrouver coincé si une couverture
ou un filet improvisé est placé par-dessus le produit. Cela
peut causer la mort. Ne jamais ajouter de tels articles pour
confiner l’enfant dans le parc.
Lorsque l’enfant peut se mettre debout, enlever tout jouet
ou objet sur lequel il pourrait monter pour sortir du parc.
Pour réduire les risques de syndrome de mort subite du
nourrisson (SMSN), les pédiatres recommandent que
les bébés en bonne santé soient placés sur le dos pour
dormir, sauf sur directives contraires d’un médecin.
NE PAS placer le parc près d’un feu ouvert ou d’une autre
source de chaleur telle qu’une cuisinière, un radiateur ou
un foyer, ni à tout autre endroit où l’enfant risque de subir
des blessures.
Si le matelas doit être recouvert d’un drap, utiliser
uniquement le drap fourni par Nuna ou un drap
spécialement conçu aux dimensions exactes du matelas.
NE PAS modifier le parc ni y ajouter des accessoires qui
ne figurent pas dans le mode d’emploi, y compris un petit
lit supplémentaire. Ne jamais ajouter de tels articles pour
confiner l’enfant dans le parc.
Pour retoucher le fini, utiliser un produit non toxique
conçu spécialement pour les produits pour enfants.
NE JAMAIS laisser l’accessoire en place quand l’enfant
est dans le parc. Si l’accessoire est en place, l’enfant
placé dans le parc peut soulever ou déplacer l’accessoire.
Il pourrait alors se coincer le cou entre l’accessoire et le
cadre du parc.
Risques de suffocation
Les bébés peuvent suffoquer :
Dans l’espace entre un matelas trop petit ou trop épais et

les côtés du produit;
sur une literie matelassée.
NE JAMAIS ajouter un matelas, un oreiller, un édredon
ou un coussin. Utiliser UNIQUEMENT le matelas fourni
par Nuna. Si un matelas plus épais ou de dimensions
différentes est utilisé, l’enfant risque de se coincer la tête
entre le matelas et le côté du parc et suffoquer.
Pour protéger le matelas, ne jamais utiliser de sacs
d’expédition ou autres pellicules en plastique, car ils ne
sont pas conçus ni vendus spécialement à cette fin et
peuvent causer la suffocation.
NE JAMAIS employer un matelas d’eau avec ce produit.
Risques d’étranglement
Les cordes de tous types présentent un risque
d’étranglement. Tenir toute corde éloignée de l’enfant.
NE JAMAIS placer le produit près d’une fenêtre munie
de stores ou de rideaux, car leurs cordes présentent un
risque d’étranglement.
NE JAMAIS attacher de corde au parc ni au-dessus de
celui-ci.
NE JAMAIS mettre d’objet comprenant une corde (p.ex.
bonnet avec cordons, sucette avec attache) autour du
cou de l’enfant.
NE JAMAIS attacher de corde aux jouets de l’enfant.

RELATIVES AU MOÏSE
Le fait de ne pas respecter les présentes mises en garde et les
instructions pourrait entraîner des blessures graves ou mortelles.
MONTAGE DU MOÏSE
Avant toute utilisation, le moïse doit être complètement
assemblé et installé. Cela comprend les quatre tiges du
matelas, les quatre boucles de coin, les quatre boutons-
pression sous les volets centraux et le matelas, qui doit
être bien à plat.
Utilisation du MOÏSE
L’adulte est responsable d’assurer la surveillance de
l’enfant quand celui-ci est dans le moïse.
Toujours garder le moïse dans un endroit sûr où rien ne
risque de blesser l’enfant.
RISQUES DE SUFFOCATION
Les bébés peuvent suffoquer :
dans l’espace entre un matelas supplémentaire et les
côtés du moïse;
Sur une literie matelassée.
NE JAMAIS ajouter un matelas, un oreiller, un édredon
