Recommendations
Please take note of the following before using the Nuna
Travel play Yard.
Safety is very important to us and you can be assured that our
products comply with the relevant standards. If you have any
questions or comments regarding the Nuna Travel play Yard,

ENCE! READ CAREFULLY.
Read these instructions carefully before use and keep them
for future reference. Your child’s safety may be
affected if you do not follow these instructions.
Play yard mode: Discontinue use of this product when child
is able to climb out, reaches the height of 35 inches (890
mm), or weighs more than 30 pounds (14 kg).
Bassinet mode: Discontinue use of the bassinet mode
when the infant begins to push up on hands and knees or
weighs over 15 pounds (6.8 kg), whichever comes rst.

WARNINGS
Failure to follow these warnings and instructions could
result in serious injury or death.
Setting up the play yard
! Be sure the product is completely set up before use,
including side rails fully erected, center of the oor pushed
down completely, and mattress/pad at and secured by the
hook and loop straps.
!Never use this product if there are any loose or missing
fasteners, loose joints, broken parts, or torn mesh/fabric.
Check before assembly and periodically during use. Contact
Nuna of Nuna distributor . for replacement parts and
instructions, if needed. Never substitute parts.
Using the travel play yard
!Always provide the supervision necessary for the continued
safety of your child. When used for playing, never leave child
unattended.
!Discontinue use of this product when child is able to climb
out, reaches the height of 35 inches (890 mm), or weighs
more than 30 pounds (14 kg).
!Child can become entrapped and die when improvised
netting or covers are placed on top of product. Never add

such items to conne child in product.
! When child is able to pull to standing position, remove
large toys, and other objects that could serve as steps for
climbing out.
!To reduce the risk of SIDS, pediatricians recommend
healthy infants be placed on their back to sleep, unless
otherwise advised by your physician.
!DO NOT place the travel play yard close to an open re or
other heat source such as stoves, heaters, replaces and
other hazards which can cause injury to your child.
!If a sheet is used with the pad, use only the one provided
by Nuna or one specically designed to t the dimension of
the pad.
!DO NOT
modify play yard or add any attachments that
are not listed in the owner’s manual, including an add-on
bassinet. Never add such items to conne child in play yard.
! If renishing, use a nontoxic nish specied for children’s
products.
!NEVER leave accessory in place when child is in playpen.
If the accessory is in place, child in playpen can lift or shift
accessory and get neck trapped between accessory and
playpen frame. This could lead to restriction of the child’s
airway resulting in serious injury or death.
Suffocation Hazards
Infants can suffocate
!In gaps between a mattress too small or too thick and
product sides
! On soft bedding.

! Never add a mattress, pillow, comforter, or padding. Use
ONLY mattress/pad provided by Nuna. Using a thicker or
a different sized mattress/pad may allow a child’s head to
get between mattress/pad and side of the play yard causing
suffocation.
! Never use plastic shipping bags or other plastic lm as
mattress covers not sold and intended for that purpose.
They can cause suffocation.
! Never use a water mattress with this product
Strangulation Hazards
!Strings and cords can cause strangulation. Keep strings
and cords away from child.
!NEVER place the product near a window where cords from
blinds or drapes can strangle a child.
!NEVER hang strings on or over the product.
!NEVER place items with a string around a child’s neck,
such as hood strings, pacier cords, etc.
!NEVER attach strings to toys.
BASSINET WARNINGS
Failure to follow these warnings and instructions could
result in serious injury or death.

SETTING UP THE BASSINET
!The bassinet must be fully assembled and installed before
using, including 4 corner buckles, 4 snaps under center
aps, and mattress/pad at, before using.
USING THE BASSINET
! You are responsible to provide adult supervision when
using your bassinet.
!Always keep the bassinet away from hazards in the area
that may injure your child.
SUFFOCATION HAZARD:
Infants can suffocate:
!
In gaps between extra padding and side of the bassinet.
! On soft bedding:
Never add a mattress, pillow, comforter, or padding. Use
ONLY mattress/pad provided by Nuna.
! FALL HAZARD:
To help prevent falls, do not use this product when the infant
begins to push up on hands and knees or has reached 15 pounds
(6.8 kg), whichever comes rst.
! STRANGULATION HAZARD:
Strings can cause strangulation! Do not place items with a
string around a child’s neck, such as hood strings or pacier
cords. Do not suspend strings over a bassinet or attach
strings to toys.
!To reduce the risk of SIDS, pediatricians recommend

otherwise advised by your physician.
!Use bassinet with only one child at a time.

How to set up the
Travel Play Yard
Opening the Nuna Travel Play Yard
Check that you have all the parts for this product before using it.
The assembly must be performed only by adults.
1 To uncover the Travel Play Yard frame (2), undo hook and loop straps
from the mattress and unfold. (3)
2 Pull the short sides of the Travel Play Yard frame outward. (4)
3 Reach through bassinet and push down on bottom of Travel Play Yard
(5a), push down the bottom center hub of the travel play yard (5b).
Set Up Bassinet
1 Install mattress. (6)
2 Install mattress, soft side up. The installed bassinet is shown as (7)
Set Up Travel Play Yard
1 Remove mattress from the bassinet.
2 Remove the snaps (8) on the bassinet fabric from the snaps at the center
of each side the Travel Play Yard . (9)

3 Release the buckles (10) on the four corners of the Travel Play Yard (11).
The clip attached to the long webbing should loop out of the fabric loop on
the Travel Play Yard after being releasing.
4 Take off bassinet (12).
5 Place the mattress on the bottom of the Travel Play Yard (13) by feeling the
straps on the corners through the holes.
6 Pull strap through bottom of playard and wrap around tube and refasten
snap. Repeat on other corners. (14, 15)
7 Push down on all four corners of the mattress to assure the mattress is
fastened.
How to fold Travel Play Yard
Folding the Travel Play Yard
1 Release the snaps. (14, 15)
2 Remove mattress from the Travel Play Yard.
3 Grab silver strap on bottom of Travel Play Yard and pull up. (16)
4Pull sides together towards the center. (17) Do not force.

How to store
Travel Play Yard
Storing the travel crib
1 To store the Travel Play Yard frame, fold the frame. (14, 15, 16, 17)
2 Wrap the unit with the mattress, guide the hook and loop fasteners
straps through the rings and attach them. (18, 19)
3 Pull drawstring together.
Cleaning and
maintenance
Your Travel play yard can be spot cleaned with a sponge and mild soapy
water. The covering material is not removable. Do NOT soak. Do NOT use
bleach or harsh detergents. The Travel playpen must be thoroughly dried
before using or storing – Avoid exposure to heat and sunlight.
Your bassinet and Travel play yard bag can be washed in lukewarm water
using mild household soap and then drip-dry. DO NOT USE BLEACH.

Terms of warranty
The warranty takes effect at the date of purchase of the product and is valid
for one year. The warranty provides you with a right of repair but not a product
exchange or return. The warranty will not be extended even if some repairs have
been made. Nuna has the right to improve the design of the product without any
obligation to update the products manufactured previously.
The warranty will not apply in the following circumstances:
• If you can not provide the sales receipt or proof of purchase of the
product.
• If the defect results from normal wear.
• If the defect results from an accident.
• If the defect results from a failure to follow the instructions of assembly,
use, care, and maintenance provided in the instruction manual.
• If the defect results from overloading (maximum weight = 15 kg).
• If repairs have been carried out by a third party.
• If the defect results from the use of accessories others than Nuna.
