Safety and
recommendations
Please take note of the following before using the Nuna Travel Crib.
Safety is very important to us and you can be assured that our products
comply with the relevant standards and that they have been tested by a
number of independent testing panels and laboratories.
The Travel Crib is a patented product that complies with relevant safety
requirements.
Nuna travel cribs have been tested at the LNE Laboratoire National
d´Essais and have passed all testing.
If you have any questions or comments regarding the Nuna Travel Crib, we

Read these instructions carefully before use and keep them for
future reference. Your child’s safety may be affected if you do
not follow these instructions.
This crib is intended for children from birth to 70 cm and 15kg.
Discontinue use of the travel crib when the child is able to climb out.

Warnings
Failure to follow these warnings and instructions could result in
serious injury or death.
WARNING Never leave your child unattended. Always
keep your child in view.
WARNING Ensure that the travel crib is fully erected and
all the locking mechanisms engaged before placing your
child in this travel crib.
Do NOT move the travel crib with your child in it.
WARNING Do not place the travel crib close to an open
fire or other heat source such as electric bar fires, gas
fires, etc.
Before each use inspect the product for damaged
hardware, loose joints, missing parts or sharp edges.
All assembly fittings must always be tightened properly.
Care must always be taken that no screws are
loose, because a child could trap parts of their
body or clothing (e.g. strings, necklaces, ribbons
for babies’ dummies, etc.), which would pose a risk of
strangulation.
WARNING Do NOT use the travel crib if any parts are
broken, torn, or missing. Only repair the travel crib
using spare parts approved by the manufacturer.
Only use accessories that are approved by the
manufacturer intended for use with this travel crib.
Do not add anything to the inside of the travel crib that
will allow your child to climb out, or any article that may
pose a risk of suffocation or strangulation.

Do not place the travel crib close to another product
which could provide a foothold or present a danger of
suffocation or strangulation, e.g. strings, blind/curtain
cords, etc.
Always use on a flat, level floor.
WARNING — Do not use the playpen without the base
crib.
Keep all children away from the travel crib during
assembly and folding. When folded store away from
children.
Do not allow young children to play unsupervised in
the vicinity of the travel crib.
WARNING — Do not use when the child can sit or kneel
or pull itself up.
Discontinue the use of the travel crib when the child
reaches 70 cm in height and weighs more than 15 kg or
is able to climb out.
For safe fitting this travel crib mattress must not be less
than 73.7 cm in length and 50.2 cm in width. The length
and width must be such that the gap between the travel
crib mattress and the sides and ends does not exceed
30 mm. The thickness of the travel crib mattress must
be such, that the internal height (the distance from the
top of the mattress to the upper edge of the product side)
is at least 500 mm in the lowest position of the crib base
and at least 200 mm in the highest position of the crib
base.
Do not allow children to climb inside or play with the
carry bag.

Once the child can sit up, the travel crib mattress should
be used in it’s lowest position.
WARNING — Do not use more than one mattress in the
travel crib. Only use the base mattress supplied by the
manufacturer for use with the travel crib.
Bassinet Warnings
When a child is able to sit, kneel or to pull itself up, the
bassinet must not be used anymore for this child.
WARNING — Do not use more than one mattress in the
bassinet. Only use the base mattress supplied by the
manufacturer for use with the bassinet.
Do NOT use the bassinet when it is not attached to the
travel crib frame.
Do not allow young children to play unsupervised in the
vicinity of the bassinet.

How to set up the
travel crib
Opening the Nuna travel crib
Check that you have all the parts for this product before using it.
The assembly must be performed only by adults.
1 Pull the short sides of the travel crib frame outward. (2)
2 Push the center of the floor down. (3)
3 Always use mattress soft side up. Place the mattress on the
bottom of the travel crib. (4)
4 Press hook and loop from the four corners of the bottom of mattress to
the four corners of the bottom of travel crib.
How to attach
the bassinet
1 Remove the mattress from the bottom of the travel crib. (5)
2 Place the bassinet into the travel crib (6), wrapping the bassinet
fabric around the sides of the travel crib frame. (7) NOTE: Nuna logos
on the travel crib frame must line up with Nuna logos on the bassinet.
3 Attach the snaps (8) on four sides of the travel crib. (9)

4 Attach the clips (10) on four sides of the travel crib. (11) The clip
attached to the long webbing should loop through the the fabric loop
on the travel crib before being clipped.
5 Place the mattress in the bottom of the bassinet. (4)
6 Press hook and loop from the four corners of the bottom of mattress to
the four corners of the bottom of bassinet.

1 Remove mattress from the travel crib. (5)
2 Grab red strap on bottom of travel crib and pull up. (12)
3Pull sides together towards the center. (13) Do not force.

How to store

Storing the travel crib
1 To store the travel crib frame, fold the frame. (13, 14) Place travel
crib inside storage bag. (15)
2 Slide the mattress into the storage bag beside the travel crib
frame. (16)
3 Pull drawstring together.
Cleaning and
maintenance
Your travel crib can be spot cleaned with a sponge and mild soapy water.
The covering material is not removable. Do NOT soak. Do NOT use bleach
or harsh detergents. The travel crib must be thoroughly dried before using
or storing – Avoid exposure to heat and sunlight.
Your bassinet and travel crib bag can be washed in lukewarm water using
mild household soap and then drip-dry. DO NOT USE BLEACH.

Warranty
and service
The Nuna travel crib is covered by a one-year warranty. If this product
shows a defect during the warranty period, please contact your retailer.
If the retailer is unable to help you, they will make contact with the local
Nuna distributor.
Please be aware that the model number and serial number located on the
bottom of the travel crib frame will be required in the event of a warranty
claim.

Terms of warranty
The warranty takes effect at the date of purchase of the product and is
valid for one year. The warranty provides you with a right of repair but not
a product exchange or return. The warranty will not be extended even if
some repairs have been made. Nuna has the right to improve the design
of the product without any obligation to update the products manufactured
previously.
The warranty will not apply in the following circumstances:
• Ifyoucannotprovidethesalesreceiptorproofofpurchaseofthe
product.
• Ifthedefectresultsfromnormalwear.
• Ifthedefectresultsfromanaccident.
• Ifthedefectresultsfromafailuretofollowtheinstructionsofassembly,
use, care, and maintenance provided in the instruction manual.
• Ifthedefectresultsfromoverloading(maximumweight=15kg).
• Ifrepairshavebeencarriedoutbyathirdparty.
• IfthedefectresultsfromtheuseofaccessoriesothersthanNuna.
