Please refer to the Accessories for Alarm Systems in the Protect Se-
ries operating manual and detailed Alarm System Operating Manual
for detailed information on assembly, installation and operation. Both
documents are enclosed with the base unit.
Connecting the Base Unit
In order to ensure unrestricted use of the base unit, you need a SIM card
from a mobile phone provider. A SIM card is not included in the equip-
ment supplied.
1 Insert a SIM card in the base unit.
2 Insert three batteries (AAA) in the battery compartment paying
attention to correct polarity.
3 Connect the base unit to the power socket.

Please check the contents of the package carefully. If anything is missing
or damaged, you must NOT put the alarm system into operation! In such
cases, contact your sales outlet, with your purchase receipt to hand, or
the OLYMPIA service centre.
Keep the packaging box for the alarm system in a safe place for possible
return delivery.

Using the Remote Control
1 Select the Register menu option on the base
unit.
2 Remove the plastic strips.
3 The base unit display indicates that registration
has been completed successfully on the alarm
system.
Using the Window and Door Contacts
1 Insert two batteries (AAA) in the battery com-
partment paying attention to correct polarity.
2 Assemble the window/door contacts on all
entrance doors and windows.
3 Please note that the window/door contacts must
be aligned to each other as illustrated when
assembled.
Using the Motion Detector
1 Install the holder for the motion detector at a
suitable location.
WARNING! Risk of electric shock! Risk of
serious injuries through damaging cables or
pipes! During installation, pay attention to
the possibility of cables running in the walls!
2 Insert three batteries (AA) in the battery com-
partment paying attention to correct polarity.
3 Hook the motion detector in the holder using
the bracket on the rear side.
Using the Outdoor Siren
1 Loosen the screws in the battery compartment
cover using an appropriate screwdriver.
2 Insert three AA batteries in the battery compart-
ment.
Pay attention that the batteries are inserted the
right way around.
3 Replace the battery compartment cover on the
outdoor siren.
4 Tighten the screws in the battery compartment
cover using an appropriate screwdriver.
Using the IP Camera
1 Position or hang the IP camera in a suitable
location.
2 Download the ProHome app from the App Store
or Google Play Store.
