Your VACOpedes Diabetic is a
modern shoe that protects your
skin and tissue from damage.
Wearing the shoe is essential to
allow your wound to heal.
With this, you are receiving the
best and most recommended1
treatment, which gives you a
high level of comfort at the
same time.
You can wash the liner at 60
degrees. There is a second liner
in the set, which you can use in
the meantime. The second sole
is to have one for inside and
one for outside the house.
Only remove the shoe
on recommendation
It is vital that you stick with the
instructions of your Clinician.
Wearing the VACOpedes Diabetic
shoe as recommended, will
increase the chances of your
wound to heal respectively
increase the speed of healing.
What are the
Consequences of not
wearing the shoe?
It is vital that you wear the
VACOpedes Diabetic shoe as
recommended. Not doing
so will lead to your wound
deteriorating.
This can lead to a wound
infection and eventually
escalate to a partial or full
amputation of your lower limb.2
