followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and/or injury to persons
including the following:
1. Read all instructions before using this product.
2. To protect against electric shock, do not place or immerse cord, plugs, or appliance
in water or other liquid.
3. This appliance is not to be used by children or by persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of
children.
4. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used near children. Children
should not play with the appliance.
5. Never leave appliance unattended when in use.
6. The use of attachments, including canning jars, not recommended or sold by the

7. Do not use outdoors or for commercial purposes.
8. Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surfaces, including
the stove.
9. Keep hands and utensils out of container while blending to reduce the risk of severe
injury to persons or damage to the blender. A scraper may be used but must be used
only when the blender is not running.
10. Blades are sharp. Handle carefully, especially when removing the blades from the
container, emptying the container and during cleaning.
11. To reduce the risk of injury, never place cutter-assembly blades on base without jar
properly attached.
12. Always hold container while operating the appliance. If the container should turn
when the motor is turned ON, switch appliance OFF immediately and tighten the
container in the threaded bottom.
13. Always operate blender with cover in place. Always wait until all moving parts have

15. Do not use appliance for other than intended use. Misuse can cause injuries. Always
use appliance on a dry, stable, level surface. Never fill beyond the MAX fill line.
For containers with no lids or vents (when inserted in the blender), such as
personal Blend and Go containers:
16. Do not blend carbonated, hot or boiling liquids and ingredients, as this may create
pressure buildup. Only blend non-carbonated liquids and ingredients that are at room
temperature or cooler. If the container is warm to the touch, allow to cool before
opening.
17. Do not use the blender for longer than 1 minute at a time to avoid heat and pressure
buildup. Allow to cool for 1 minute between cycles.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why wont the blender turn on?

Notification Light will light up when properly aligned.
c) If neither option works, please contact customer service, double click on button to turn unit on,

d) If neither option works, please contact customer services.
Why won’t my ingredients blend?
a) Ensure that all ingredients are less than half an inch big.
b) Ensure that the Blending Lid is fully charged.
c) Add more liquid. We recommend having at minimum a 2:1 ratio of water to solids. This ratio
should increase to a minimum of 3:1 if using frozen foods.
Why won’t be Blend Active blend ice?
a) We recommend using frozen fruits instead of ice when blending. They have a softer exterior,
making it easier for the blade to slice through.
b) If you want to use ice, ensure that you are using a crushed ice. The smaller crushed ice has an
easier time getting down to the blade.
How do I get a more even and consistent blend?
a) While blending, shake the cup in multiple directions.
Why won’t my powdered supplements fully blend?
a) We recommend adding any powdered supplement last into the cup. When added first, powders
can get stuck to the inside of the cup, preventing them from blending.
