★By using AW-RP50 controller, you can switch the remote camera’s power supply from STANDBY mode (Power OFF)
to POWER ON mode (Power ON), and vice versa.
* Before you useAW-RP50 controller to control the remote camera’s power supply, you need to set up the connection
with the camera in advance.

AW-RP50 Controller】.

・Be careful with the Power ON/OFF operation described in this Manual because it can affect the camera’s pan-tilt
head position at the time of turning the power on. (POWER ON Preset Function)

■Turning ON/OFF Remote Cameras One by One
*For switching the power supply mode of the remote camera (AW-HE40) which is assigned to [CAM1];
1.Keep holding down LED button 1 at CAMERASTATUS/SELECTION area –(Fig.1-A). The selected camera’s name
will be displayed on the upper half, and its power status (POWER ON/POWER OFF) on the lower half of the LCD
panel –(Fig.2).
2.While the LED button 1 is held down at CAMERASTATUS/SELECTION area, turn F2 dial –(Fig.1-B);
(If you turn ON the camera,)
Select “ON” – (Fig.2), and then press the F2 dial. The camera will switch over to POWER ON mode (Power ON).
(If you turn OFF the camera,)
Select “OFF” – (Fig.2), and then press the F2 dial. The camera will switch over to STANDBY mode (Power OFF).

■Turning ON/OFF Multiple Remote Cameras at One Time
1.Turn the MENU button –(Fig.4-A) ON. (Its LED lights up.)
2.Press LED button 8 (CAMERA) –(Fig.4-B) at PRESET MEMORY/MENU
area.
3.Turn F1 dial –(Fig.4-C) to display [2] POWER menu –(Fig.5), and press
F1 dial.
4.Turn F1 dial –(Fig.4-C) to display 1. CAM POWER menu –(Fig.5).
(If you turn ON all the remote cameras,)
5.Turn F2 dial –(Fig.4-D) to select “ALL ON” – (Fig.5), and press F2 dial.
(If you turn ON the selected camera group,)
5.Turn F2 dial to select “GROUP ON” – (Fig.5), and press F2 dial.
(If you turn OFF all the remote cameras,)
5.Turn F2 dial to select “ALL OFF” – (Fig.5), and press F2 dial.
(If you turn OFF the selected camera group,)
5.Turn F2 dial to select “GROUP OFF” – (Fig.5), and press F2 dial.

■Turning ON Remote Camera by Turning ON AW-RP50 Power Supply
*You can turn ON the camera connected via IP ([Network]) or serial ([Serial]) connection by turning ON the power
switch of AW-RP50 controller.
1.Turn the MENU button –(Fig.6-A) ON. (Its LED lights up.)
2.Press the LED button 8 (CAMERA) –(Fig.6-B) at PRESET MEMORY/MENU area.
3.Turn F1 dial –(Fig.6-C) to display [2] POWER menu –(Fig.7), and press F1 dial.
4.Turn F1 dial –(Fig.6-C) to display 2. AUTO ON menu –(Fig.7).
5.Turn F2 dial –(Fig.6-D) to select [On], and press F2 dial. * Default: [On]
<Note>
・Make sure that the remote camera is in STANDBY mode whenAW-RP50 controller is turned ON.
・AW-RP50 controller does not have the function of switching the remote camera to STANDBY mode by turning OFF
its power switch.
