8" WASHERS(91), and one 3/8" LOCKNUT(92). See FIGURE
¯SECURELYassemble one 3-1/2" PULLEY(42) to the rear horizontal flat of the PRESSBASE(18) using one 3/8 X2" BOLT(84),
one 2-2/8" CABLERETAININGCLIP (45), two 3/8" WASHERS(91), and one 3/8" LOCKNUT(92) as shown in FIGURE
(NOTE:2-3/8" CABLERETAININGCLIP (45) should face as shown in FIGURE1.)
¯SECURELYassemble one 4-1/2" PULLEY(43) to the lower horizontal flat of the PRESSBASE(18) using one 3/8 X2"
(84), two 3/8" WASHERS(91), and one 3/8" LOCKNUT(92) as shownin FIGURE1. (NOTE:Makesure there is no
between the two pulleys.)
¯ Attach two 5-1/2 X2-1/2" NONSKIDSTRIPS(65) to the LOWROW/CALFRAISE(2) approximately where shownin FIGURE
¯SECURELYassemble the LOWROW/CALFRAISE(2) to the PRESSBASE(18) using two 1/2 X 3" BOLTS(87), two
WASHERS(93), and one 1/2" LOCKNUT(94). 4

silicon or teflon spray available at most hardwarestores.)
¯Slide two 1-1/4 SQ. X4-7/8" TUBES(34), two 3/4" WASHERS(71), and two WEIGHTSTACKCUSI-IIONS(70) - IN
ORDER- down over the GUIDERODS(36).
¯Using EXTREMECAREslide all fifteen WEIGHTPLATES(105) down over the GUIDERODS(36) on to the WEIGHTSTACK
CUSHIONS(70). Makesure that the keyholes of the WEIGHTPLATES(105) are all facing the right wa,.h
¯Slide the head plate assemblydownover the GUIDERODS(36) onto the weight stack.
¯Insert four CAPPLUGS(106) into the top and bottom ends of the GUIDERODS(36) as shownin FIGURE

¯Attach eight PARAGLIDESTRIPS(62) INSIDEthe end of the RECEIVINGTUBE(13) and four PARAGLIDESTRIPS(62)
the OUTSIDEof the PRESSADJUSTMENTTUBE(22) using the following steps:
¯Thoroughlyclean all sufaces wherePARAGLIDESTRIPS(62) are to be attached.
¯ Removethe PARAGLIDESTRIPS(62) from the paper backing and flrlnly apply them to surfaces. (NOTE:Orientate
strips so they will slide by eachother.)
¯CAREFULLYslide the PRESSADJUSTMENTTUBE(22) into the RECEIVINGTUBE(13). (NOTE: Makesure the spring
barrel on the RECEIVINGTUBE(13) is on the same side as the holes in the PRESSADJUSTMENTTUBE(22).)
¯ Thread one 3/8 X 1" BUTTONHEADCAPSCREW(96) throughthe slot in the RECEIVINGTUBE(13) and into the ADJUSTMENT
TUBE(22)
¯ Insert two 1/2" FLANGEBEARINGS(78) into the COUNTERLEVER(3) as shown in FIGURE
¯Assemble the PRESSADJUSTMENTTUBE(22) to the COUNTERLEVER(3) using one 1/2 X 3-1/2" BOLT(90) and one
LOWHEIGHTLOCKNUT(95). (NOTE:Tighten the connection enough to remove play, yet allowing the PRESS
JUSTMENTTUBE(22) to rotate freely.) 19
