Your Parrot Mambo FPV™ contains the following:
1. One Parrot Mambo FPV™ drone;
2. One Parrot Flypad™ joystick. You can fly your Parrot
Mambo FPV with the Parrot Flypad or by downloading the
FreeFlight Mini™ app to your smartphone or tablet. This
app is free of charge but might contain In-App Purchase
offers. It also allows you to calibrate your Parrot Mambo
FPV;
3. One mini-HD Wi-Fi camera;
4. One high capacity battery.

1. Parrot Mambo FPV IS NOT A TOY. It should not be used or
handled by a child under the age of 14 years.
2. BEFORE ANY USE of the Parrot Mambo FPV:
(A) READ CAREFULLY this User Guide and all information
and documentation available at www.parrot.com, which may
be updated at any time and without prior notice (hereinafter
"Parrot Documentation"). SPECIAL ATTENTION shall be
given in the paragraphs containing the symbol ;
(B) ENSURE YOU ARE AWARE OF THE APPLICABLE
REGULATIONS FOR THE USE OF DRONES AND THEIR
ACCESSORIES (hereinafter referred to as "Applicable
Regulations"); and
(c) REMEMBER that the Parrot Mambo FPV may expose

3. Please note that videos and photos that are promoted and
advertised by Parrot Drones SAS and its affiliates have been
made by and with experienced professionals and pilots.

smartphone and the Parrot Flypad.
Never leave the Parrot Cockpitglasses 2 in the
sun when not in use. This could damage your
phone.

CHARGING THE BATTERY
OF THE PARROT MAMBO
FPV
1. Place the battery in the slot provided for this
purpose.
2. With the micro-USB cable, connect the Parrot
Mambo to a computer or a USB power adapter.
The charging LED is solid red during charging.

The charging time is approximately 30 minutes
with a 2.1A charger. When charging is completed,
the charging LED turns green.
To remove the battery, lift the tab and slide the
battery backwards.
CHARGING THE PARROT
FLYPAD'S BATTERY
1. Connect the micro-USB cable to the micro-USB
port of the Parrot Flypad.
2. Connect the USB port to a computer or a USB
power adapter.
The LED turns red during charging.
The charging time is approximately 2 hours with a
2.1A charger.
When charging is complete, the LED turns green.
The Parrot Flypad has a battery life of approximately
6 hours.

Insert the battery into the compartment provided
or press the On/Off switch.
>The Parrot Mambo lights up.
1. Place the Parrot Mambo on a flat surface with
the propellers facing upwards.
2. Wait for the LED lights to start flashing green.
3. Press the Parrot Flypad's On/off button.
>The Parrot Flypad and Parrot Mambo LED
light flashes green and then turns solid green
once the connection is established.

CONNECTING THE
CAMERA TO THE PARROT
MAMBO FPV
1. Connect the Camera to the Parrot Mambo FPV.
2. Launch FreeFlight Mini on the smartphone and
connect the app to the drone.
>On iOS: the app prompts you to enable Wi-
Fi to connect the smartphone to the Parrot
Mambo FPV. The name of the Wi-Fi network
is: MAMBO_XXXX.
>On Android, the app will be able to locate
and connect to the Parrot Mambo FPV. A
pop-up window may appear to confirm the
connection to the camera's Wi-Fi network.
Otherwise, manually connect the smartphone
to the camera's Wi-Fi network.
3. The video appears on the FreeFlight Mini app
home page.
>To record the Parrot Mambo FPV video, insert
a micro-SD memory card into the connector
on the back of the camera before installing it
in the Parrot Mambo FPV.
>The recorded videos are in HD 720p format.

USING THE PARROT
COCKPITGLASSES
FreeFlight Mini in FPV mode must be enabled
before placing the smartphone in the Parrot
Cockpitglasses.
1. Unfold the Parrot Cockpitglasses
2. Launch the FreeFlight Mini app on the
smartphone, connect the drone and activate
FPV mode .
3. Open the front cover of the Parrot
Cockpitglasses.
4. Place the smartphone in the centre point of the
height and length of the Parrot Cockpitglasses.

5. Close the front cover to hold the smartphone in
the Parrot Cockpitglasses.
Make sure the front cover is securely closed and
the smartphone is firmly in position.
INTERPUPILLARY DISTANCE
ADJUSTMENT
1. Adjust the Parrot Cockpitglasses strap before
putting it on.
2. Make sure the lenses are at your eye level
by adjusting the position of the Parrot
Cockpitglasses on your nose.
3. Adjust the distance between the lenses in
relation to your view by sliding the cursors on
the top of the Parrot Cockpitglasses.

1. Place the Parrot Mambo on a flat surface with
the propellers facing upwards.
2. Press the button on the Parrot Flypad.
>Parrot Mambo takes off and stabilises at 1
metre from the ground while commands are
pending.

ACCESSORIES
HULLS
Attach the hulls to the arms of the Parrot Mambo.
Make sure that the hulls are securely fastened to
the Parrot Mambo studs by pressing downwards.
Remove the hulls: gently remove the hulls from the
studs of the Parrot Mambo.
FREEFLIGHT MINI
You can configure the settings of your Parrot
Mambo and your Parrot Flypad.
To do this:
Login to the App Store®or Google PlayTM and
download the free FreeFlight Mini app.

GENERAL INFORMATION
ACCESSORIES AND SPARE PARTS
Accessories and spare parts are available from your Parrot retailer or the parrot.
com website.
PRECAUTIONS FOR USE AND MAINTENANCE
The Parrot Mambo is not suitable for children under 14 years of age.
The Parrot Mambo is a model aircraft designed for recreation and leisure.
The pilot must, at all times, maintain eye contact with the Parrot Mambo and
control its trajectory. The Parrot Mambo must be used according to the rules
of civil aviation in your country. The places where it is used must be suitable for
manoeuvring in order to ensure the continuous safety of people, animals and
property. It may not be permitted to use the Parrot Mambo in certain places in
the public domain (e.g. train station, airport, etc.) or on public roads.
To use the Parrot Mambo indoors, install the hulls so the Parrot Mambo is
protected in the event of a collision with another object.
The Parrot Mambo's propellers in flight can cause damage to people, animals
or objects. Do not touch the Parrot Mambo when in flight. Keep a safe distance
and wait until the propellers stop completely before handling the Parrot
Mambo.
Only use the Parrot Mambo gun with the balls designed for the Parrot Mambo.
Only use accessories specified by Parrot Drones SAS.
If sand or dust gets into the Parrot Mambo, it may be irreparably damaged and
no longer function properly.
Do not use the Parrot Mambo in adverse weather conditions (rain, strong wind
or snow) or when visibility is poor (at night).
Keep the Parrot Mambo away from high voltage power lines, buildings or any
other potentially hazardous areas.
Do not use this device near liquids. Do not place the Parrot Mambo on water or
on a wet surface as this could cause irreparable damage.
Do not leave the Parrot Mambo in the sun.
WARNING: THE PARROT MAMBO AND ITS ACCESSORIES ARE MADE UP
OF OR INCLUDE SMALL ELEMENTS - CHOKING HAZARD - DO NOT FIRE
THE BALLS FROM THE CANNON OF THE PARROT MAMBO ON PEOPLE,
ANIMALS AND OBJECTS.
WARRANTY
To find out about the warranty conditions, please refer to the Terms and
Conditions of Sale of the retailer where you purchased the Parrot Mambo.
RISK OF CONVULSIONS (PARROT COCKPITGLASSES)
For some people (about 1 in 4,000), strong light stimulation or a rapid succession
of images can cause severe dizziness, convulsions, epileptic seizures or a feeling
of faintness, which can occur when watching television, playing video games or
during a virtual reality experience, even if they have never felt such discomfort
before or have no history of convulsions or epileptic seizures. These types of
ailments are more common in children and young adults under the age of 20.
