If the desk thickness is between 3/4" to 1" use
1/4-20 x 1.5" threaded rods (L). If the desk thickness
is between 3/4" to 2-3/8" use 1/4-20 x 3" threaded
rods(M).Turn base (C)upsidedownand insert four
threaded rods (L or M) into base (C), as shown in
figure2.1.
NOTE: Threadedrodsmust fasten a minimumof
threeturns.
NOTE: Ifenhanced security isdesired, use three
dropsof loc-tite 271thread lock adhesive(P)along
1/4"at the endof each threadedrod. Insert adhesive
end of threaded rods (L or M) into bottom of base (C). A

indicated below to the outside of desired angle in steel base (C).

NOTE:Adapter plate support box (D) can be flipped either way to allow necessary screen clearance. For best results,
have screen close to desktop but not touching.
Adapter plate support box (D) is adjustable up to 6" at 1" increments.Attach adapter plate support box (D) to support
tube (A) as shown in fig 7.1, then fasten two 1/4-20 x 1/2" phillips screws (H) and two split washers (G) through
adapter plate support box (D) and support tube (A), as shown in fig. 7.2.

Lineup base assembly (step 5),through supporting surface with patternof
base (C) facing the front as shown in Detail 1. Using four fender washers (V)
and four lock nuts (N) tighten in numbered pattern as shown in Figure 6.1. At
minimum 1/4 - 20 locknuts (N) should be flush with bottom of threaded rods
(L or M) and no less than. For added security replace two of the washers and
locknuts with slope nuts. Hand tighten slope nuts (W) onto two of the thread
rods (L or M) till snug against bottom of table as shown in Figure 6.2. Thread
another slope nut (W) upside-down, about two turns from first slope nut (S) as
shown in Detail 2. Insert a 5/8"open box wrench between both slope nuts (W)
andtighten. NOTE: Avoidjamming both slopenuts(W)together, doingso
may make it difficult to remove slope nut used for tightening. After slope nut
issecure remove bottom slope nut.
NOTE: Ifenhanced security is desired, use two drops of loc-tite 271 thread
lock adhesive (P) on the threads of each 1/4 - 20 locknut (N).

For installing screens with a VESA 100 hole pattern: Using the 4 mm security allen wrench (J), attach screen to
adapter plate (D) using four M4 x 12 mm serrated socket pin screws (I) as shown in figure 8.1.
For installing screens with Universal Adapter Plate: Using the penta-pin driver (Q), attach screen to adapter
plate (D) using four M10 x 15 mm penta-pin screws (O) as shown in figure 8.2.
NOTE:Foruniversaladapter plate (E), refertothe main instructionfor further installation.

• Tightenscrews so adapter brackets arefirmly
attached. Do not tighten with excessive force.
Overtighteningcan cause stress damage to
screws,greatlyreducing their holdingpower and
possibly causing screw heads to become
detached. Tighten to 40 in. • lb (4.5 N.M.)
maximumtorque.
WARNING
Installing Adapter Brackets
Refer to Screen Compatibility Chart to determine the proper fasteners to use.
To prevent scratching the screen, set a cloth on a flat, level surface that will support the weight of the screen. Place
screen face side down. If screen has knobs on the back, remove them to allow the adapter brackets to be attached.
Place adapter brackets (S or T) on back of screen, align to holes, and center on back of screen as shown in figure
8.3.Attach the adapter brackets to the back of the screen using the appropriate combination of screws, multi-
washers, and spacers as shown in figure 8.5.
Note: Top and bottom holes must always be used.
Verifythat all holes are properly aligned, andthen tighten screws using aphillipsscrewdriver.
Note: Tightenusing 4 mm security allenwrench (J).
• If screws don't get three complete turns in the screen
inserts or if screws bottom out and bracket is still not
tightly secured, damage may occur to screen or
productmay fail.

Mounting and Removing Flat Panel Screen
Hook adapter brackets (S or T) onto adapter bracket (R), then slowly swing screen in as shown. Turn screws
clockwise at least six times to prevent screen from being removed as shown in detail 1.
Note: Tightenusing 4 mm security allenwrench (J).
Screen can be adjusted horizontally if desired.
Note: To lock the screen down, tighten screws to adapter bracket as shown in detail 1.
Toremovescreen from mount,loosenscrews,swingscreenaway frommount,andliftscreen offof mount.
