Bed Mattresses Specifications:
Use only a mattress meeting the following specifications on the upper bunk bed.

Total thickness of both mattress and foundation MUST NOT EXCEED 6½” for upper bunk.
SAFETY WARNINGS AND GENERAL NOTES
Follow information on the warnings appearing on the upper bunk end structure and on the carton.
Do not remove warning label from bed.
Always use the recommended size mattress or mattress support, or both, to help prevent the likelihood
or entrapment or falls.
Surface of mattress must be at least 5 in. (127mm) below the upper edge of guard rails.
Do not allow children under 6 years of age to use the upper bunk.
Periodically check and ensure that the guardrail, ladder, and other components are in their proper
position, free from damage, and that all connectors are tight.
Do not allow horseplay on or under the bed and prohibit jumping on the bed.
Always use the ladder for entering and leaving the upper bunk.
Do not use substitute parts. Contact the manufacturer or dealer for replacement parts.
Use of a night light may provide added safety precaution for a child using the upper bunk.
Always use guard rails on both sides of the upper bunk.
The use of water or sleep floatation mattresses is prohibited.
Prohibit more than one person on the upper bunk.
Keep these instructions for future references.
We recommend assembling your bunk bed on the shipping carton to protect your floor or carpet. Be
certain all staples are out of the box before beginning assembly on the shipping carton.
Strangulation Hazard - Never attach or hang items to any part of the bunk bed that are not designed
for use with the bed; for example, but not limited to, hooks, belts and jump ropes.

Replacement parts, including additional guardrails, may be obtained from any of our Pine Crafter
dealers.

Phillips Screwdriver or Electric Drill
#11 and #11F ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
1. Check cartons to be sure all wooden parts and hardware is included.
2. Obtain one box of (2) twin or full HB/FB and one box of (2) twin or full bottom rails.
3. Hold HB upright and insert 30mm bed bolts through metal bracket on cleated rail and bottom set holes
on HB as shown in Fig.1. Secure with cap nut but do not fully tighten.
4. Repeat step 3 for other side.
5. Attach the FB to opposite side using same method as in steps 3 and 4.
6. Obtain one box (4) twin or full top rails. Attach one cleated rail to middle holes of HB using same method
in step 3 as shown in Fig.2. Attach the other end of cleated rail to the other HB in same manner.
7. Repeat step 6 for other cleated rail on opposite side.
8. Attach one guard rail to top holes of HB by securing 70mm lag bolt screws thru HB holes and into pre-drilled
holes in end of guard rail as shown in Fig.3.
9. Attach the other end of guard rail to the other HB in same manner.
10. Repeat step 8 for other guard rail on opposite side.
11. Now, go back and fully tighten all cap nuts and bolts to secure bed.
12. Secure bed wires with bed wire screws to top of cleat on cleated rails (as shown in Fig.4).
#011 & #411 ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
1. Check cartons to be sure all wooden parts and hardware is included.
2. Obtain one box of (1) staircase HB and one box of (2) twin bottom rails.
3. Sit staircase HB upright and insert 30mm bed bolts through metal bracket on cleated rail and bottom
set holes on HB as shown in Fig.1. Secure with cap nut but do not fully tighten.
4. Repeat step 3 for other side.
5. Obtain one box of (1) Twin FB to opposite side using same method as in steps 3 and 4.
6. Obtain one box (4) twin top rails. Attach one cleated rail to middle holes of HB using same method in
step 3 as shown in Fig.2. Attach the other end of cleated rail to the other HB in same manner.
7. Repeat step 6 for other cleated rail on opposite side.
8. Attach one guard rail to top holes of HB by securing 70mm lag bolt screws thru HB holes and into pre-drilled
holes in end of guard rail as shown in Fig.3.
9. Attach the other end of guard rail to the other HB in same manner.
10. Repeat step for other guard rail on opposite side.
11. Now, go back and fully tighten all cap nuts and bolts to secure bed.
12. Secure bed wires with bed wire screws to top of cleat on cleated rails (as shown in Fig.4).
