READ THESE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE ATTEMPTING TO ASSEMBLE THIS BED

Bed Mattresses Specifications:
Use only a mattress meeting the following specifications on the upper and lower bunks.

SAFETY WARNINGS AND GENERAL NOTES
Follow information on the warnings appearing on the upper bunk end structure and on the carton.
Do not remove warning label from bed.
Always use the recommended size mattress or mattress support, or both, to help prevent the likelihood
or entrapment or falls.
Surface of mattress must be at least 5 in. (127mm) below the upper edge of guard rails.
Do not allow children under 6 years of age to use the upper bunk.
Periodically check and ensure that the guardrail, ladder, and other components are in their proper
position, free from damage, and that all connectors are tight.
Do not allow horseplay on or under the bed and prohibit jumping on the bed.
Always use the ladder for entering and leaving the upper bunk.
Do not use substitute parts. Contact the manufacturer or dealer for replacement parts.
Use of a night light may provide added safety precaution for a child using the upper bunk.
Always use guard rails on both sides of the upper bunk.
The use of water or sleep floatation mattresses is prohibited.
Prohibit more than one person on the upper bunk.
Keep these instructions for future references.
We recommend assembling your bunk bed on the shipping carton to protect your floor or carpet. Be
certain all staples are out of the box before beginning assembly on the shipping carton.
Strangulation Hazard - Never attach or hang items to any part of the bunk bed that are not designed for
use with the bed; for example, but not limited to, hooks, belts and jump ropes.

To help prevent serious or fatal injuries from entrapment or falls:
*Read & follow the information on the WARNING shown on the end structure of the upper bunk or on the carton.
*DO NOT remove the warning label from the bed.
*Keep these instructions for future reference.

*The MAXIMUM weight capacity for the upper bunk is not to exceed 250 lbs.

*DO NOT allow horseplay, rough playing or jumping on the beds and do not allow playing or hiding under the beds.

*DO NOT use substitute parts. Contact the manufacturer or dealer for replacement parts.
*Use of a nightlight may provide added safety precaution for a person using the upper bunk.
*Always use the guardrails on both sides of the upper bunk.
*If the bunk bed will be placed next to a wall, the guardrails that run the full length of the bed should be placed
against the wall to prevent entrapment between the bed and the wall.
*The use of water or sleep flotation mattresses is prohibited.
*No more than one person is allowed on the upper bunk at a time.
STRANGULATION HAZARD: Never attach or hang objects to any part of the bed that are not designed for use
with the bed. Objects such as hangers, hooks, belts, bags, ropes, string, etc. should not be used on or around the
bunk bed.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
Phillips Screwdriver or Electric Drill

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
1. Check cartons to be sure all wooden parts and hardware is included.
2. Position the unit’s loft desk and lingerie or ten drawer chest and lingerie in the area you have
selected for set-up.
3. To begin assembly, obtain top full footboard and two cleated rails.
NOTE: Rest rails on top of desk/chest and lingerie.
4. Hold the FB upright. Insert 30mm bed bolts through metal bracket of rails and bottom
set holes on top FB and secure with cap nuts, as shown in Figure 1.
5. Repeat step 3 for the other side.
6. Attach top full headboard to the other end using the same method as in steps 3 & 4.
7. Obtain one guard rail and assemble to the top set holes in the headboard by securing 70mm lag
bolts thru HB holes and into pre-drilled holes in end of rail as shown in Figure 2.
Repeat this for the other side.
8. Repeat step 6 for the other rail.
9. The upper bunk will rest directly on top of the desk/chest and lingerie. The bed should be
positioned approximately ½” back from the ends and edges.
10. The loft bed must be secured into position using the five “L” Brackets and the ¾”
screws, as shown in Figure 3. Do not leave the upper bunk unattached, even if it isn't
used for a sleeping are. It may be dislodged and fall resulting in serious injury or death.
11. To assemble the bottom full bed repeat steps 3, 4, 5, and 6.
12. Turn bottom bed upside down and insert the knock-in inserts in the pre-drilled holes in
the bottom of the HB/FB (a light tap with a hammer or mallet will secure the inserts).
13. Push casters into inserts.
14. Turn bed upright and roll bed underneath upper bunk.
15. Attach ladder to desk, chest or lingerie side by using 3½” wood screws, as shown in Figure 4.
16. Secure bed wires with bed wire screws to top of cleated rails, as shown in Figure 5.
