MATTRESS SIZES…
Bed Mattresses Specifications:
Use only a mattress meeting the following specifications on the upper and lower bunks.

Total thickness of both mattress and foundation MUST NOT EXCEED 6½” for top and bottom bunks.
SAFETY WARNINGS AND GENERAL NOTES
Follow information on the warnings appearing on the upper bunk end structure and on the carton.
Do not remove warning label from bed.
Always use the recommended size mattress or mattress support, or both, to help prevent the likelihood
or entrapment or falls.
Surface of mattress must be at least 5 in. (127mm) below the upper edge of guard rails.
Do not allow children under 6 years of age to use the upper bunk.
Periodically check and ensure that the guardrail, ladder, and other components are in their proper
position, free from damage, and that all connectors are tight.
Do not allow horseplay on or under the bed and prohibit jumping on the bed.
Always use the ladder for entering and leaving the upper bunk.
Do not use substitute parts. Contact the manufacturer or dealer for replacement parts.
Use of a night light may provide added safety precaution for a child using the upper bunk.
Always use guard rails on both sides of the upper bunk.
The use of water or sleep floatation mattresses is prohibited.
Prohibit more than one person on the upper bunk.
Keep these instructions for future references.
We recommend assembling your bunk bed on the shipping carton to protect your floor or carpet. Be
certain all staples are out of the box before beginning assembly on the shipping carton.
Strangulation Hazard - Never attach or hang items to any part of the bunk bed that are not designed for
use with the bed; for example, but not limited to, hooks, belts and jump ropes.

CARTON CONTAINERS
1 Box (2) HB/FB - (Hardware: 12 – 30mm bed bolts, 12 cap nuts, 1 hex key, 8 – 70mm Lag
Bolt Screws and 4 – 1 ¼” wood screws)

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
1. Check cartons to be sure all wooden parts and hardware is included.
2. Obtain one HB/FB and two cleated rails.
3. Hold HB/FB upright and insert 30mm bed bolts through metal bracket of cleated rail
and continue through middle set holes on HB/FB as shown in Figure 1.
4. Repeat step 3 for the other side.
5. Attach another HB/FB to the other end using the same method as in steps 3 & 4.
6. Obtain one guard rail and assemble to the top set holes in the upper bunk headboard
by securing 70mm lag bolt screws thru HB and into pre-drilled holes in end of guard rail
as shown in Figure 1. Repeat this for the other side.
7. Repeat step 6 for other rail.
8. Secure bed wires with bed wire screws to cleated rails, as shown in Figure 2.
9. Assemble the bottom support rail by securing 30mm bolts through metal bracket of
cleated rail and continue through HB/FB holes and as shown in Figure 1.
10. Now located the four-drawer unit and rest unit on bottom support rail below cleated rail.
Secure four-drawer unit using 1¼” wood screws through side panel of unit and screw
into thick part of each headboard and footboard, as shown in Figure 3. Use two screws
for each side. NOTE LOCATION OF SCREWS.
11. Obtain trundle unit or six-drawer unit and slide underneath bed.
12. If six-drawer unit is being used, then remove top drawers and locate preset 2” wood
screws on side of unit.
13. Secure wood screws into side of HB/FB.
14. Attach ladder to headboard, as shown in Figure 4.
