Total thickness of both mattress and foundation MUST NOT EXCEED 61/2” for top and bottom bunks.
SAFETY WARNINGS AND GENERAL NOTES
Follow information on the warnings appearing on the upper bunk end structure and on the carton.
Do not remove warning label from bed.
Always use the recommended size mattress or mattress support, or both, to help prevent the likelihood
or entrapment or falls.
Surface of mattress must be at least 5 in. (127mm) below the upper edge of guard rails.
Do not allow children under 6 years of age to use the upper bunk.
Periodically check and ensure that the guardrail, ladder, and other components are in their proper
position, free from damage, and that all connectors are tight.
Do not allow horseplay on or under the bed and prohibit jumping on the bed.
Always use the ladder for entering and leaving the upper bunk.
Do not use substitute parts. Contact the manufacturer or dealer for replacement parts.
Use of a night light may provide added safety precaution for a child using the upper bunk.
Always use guard rails on both sides of the upper bunk.
The use of water or sleep floatation mattresses is prohibited.
Prohibit more than one person on the upper bunk.
Keep these instructions for future references.
We recommend assembling your bunk bed on the shipping carton to protect your floor or carpet. Be
certain all staples are out of the box before beginning assembly on the shipping carton.
Strangulation Hazard - Never attach or hang items to any part of the bunk bed that are not designed
for use with the bed; for example, but not limited to, hooks, belts and jump ropes.

CARTON CONTAINERS
Carton #1: HB/FB - Hardware: (12) 30mm Bed Bolts, (12) Silver Cap Nuts, (8) 70mm Lag
Bolt Screws and (1) Hex Key
Carton #2: Four-Drawer Unit
Carton #3: Twin Trundle Unit or Six-Drawer Unit
Carton #4: Jr. Loft Ladder - Hardware (4) 3½” Wood Screws
Carton #5: (4) Top Rails - Hardware: (3) Twin or Full Bed Wires and (6) 1” Bed Wire Screws
Carton #6: (1) Bracket Rail
TOOLS REQUIRED
Phillips Screwdriver or Electric Drill
Hex Key (Provided)
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
1. Check cartons to be sure all wooden parts and hardware is included.
2. To begin assembly, Obtain carton #1 (HB/FB) and carton #5 (4 Top Rails).
3. Hold HB/FB upright and insert 30mm bed bolts through middle set of holes on HB and metal bracket
on cleated rail as shown in Fig.1. Secure with silver cap nuts but do not fully tighten.
4. Repeat step 3 for the other side of HB.
5.Attach the FB to the opposite end using the same method as in steps 3 & 4.
6. Attach one guard rail to the top set of holes in HB by securing 70mm lag bolt screws thru HB holes and into
pre-drilled holes in end of guard rail as shown in Fig.2. Secure but do not fully tighten.Attach the other end
of guardrail to the FB in the same manner.
7. Repeat step 6 for other rail on opposite side.
8. Obtain carton #6 (bracket rail).Attach the bracket rail by securing 30mm bolts through bottom set of holes
on HB and metal bracket on support rail as shown in Fig.3. Attach the other end of bracket rail to the FB
in the same manner.
9. Now, go back and fully tighten all cap nuts and bolts to secure bed.
10. Secure bed wires with bed wire screws to both sets of cleated rails, as shown in Fig.4.
11. Obtain carton #2 (four drawer unit). Remove screws from back of unit as shown in Fig.5. Attach the four
drawer unit by resting unit on top of bracket rail. Secure four-drawer unit to inside of HB and FB by
securing preset wood screws through side boards of four-drawer unit as shown in Fig.6. Screws can be
located by removing left and right drawers of four-drawer unit.
12. Obtain carton #3 (trundle unit or six drawer unit). If your model bed contains the trundle unit, then remove
screws from back of unit as shown in Fig.6. Now slide trundle unit underneath bed. If your model bed
contains the six-drawer unit, then remove screws from back of unit as shown in Fig.6. Secure six-drawer
unit to inside of HB and FB by securing preset wood screws through side boards of six-drawer unit as
shown in Fig.6. Screws can be located by removing top left and right drawers of six drawer unit.
13. Obtain carton #4 (junior loft ladder). Attach ladder to end of headboard or footboard as shown in Fig.7.
