Bed Mattresses Specifications:
Use only a mattress meeting the following specifications on the upper and lower bunks.

Total thickness of both mattress and foundation MUST NOT EXCEED 6½” for top and bottom bunks.
SAFETY WARNINGS AND GENERAL NOTES
Follow information on the warnings appearing on the upper bunk end structure and on the carton.
Do not remove warning label from bed.
Always use the recommended size mattress or mattress support, or both, to help prevent the likelihood
or entrapment or falls.
Surface of mattress must be at least 5 in. (127mm) below the upper edge of guard rails.
Do not allow children under 6 years of age to use the upper bunk.
Periodically check and ensure that the guardrail, ladder, and other components are in their proper
position, free from damage, and that all connectors are tight.
Do not allow horseplay on or under the bed and prohibit jumping on the bed.
Always use the ladder for entering and leaving the upper bunk.
Do not use substitute parts. Contact the manufacturer or dealer for replacement parts.
Use of a night light may provide added safety precaution for a child using the upper bunk.
Always use guard rails on both sides of the upper bunk.
The use of water or sleep floatation mattresses is prohibited.
Prohibit more than one person on the upper bunk.
Keep these instructions for future references.
We recommend assembling your bunk bed on the shipping carton to protect your floor or carpet. Be
certain all staples are out of the box before beginning assembly on the shipping carton.
Strangulation Hazard - Never attach or hang items to any part of the bunk bed that are not designed for
use with the bed; for example, but not limited to, hooks, belts and jump ropes.

To help prevent serious or fatal injuries from entrapment or falls:
*Read & follow the information on the WARNING shown on the end structure of the upper bunk or on the carton.
*DO NOT remove the warning label from the bed.
*Keep these instructions for future reference.
*Use only a mattress meeting the following specifications on all upper and lower bunks.

*The MAXIMUM weight capacity for the upper bunk is not to exceed 250 lbs.

free from damage and that all connectors are tightened and secure.
*DO NOT allow horseplay, rough playing or jumping on the beds and do not allow playing or hiding under the beds.
*Always use the ladder for entering or leaving the upper bunk.
*DO NOT use substitute parts. Contact the manufacturer or dealer for replacement parts.
*Use of a nightlight may provide added safety precaution for a person using the upper bunk.
*Always use the guardrails on both sides of the upper bunk.
*If the bunk bed will be placed next to a wall, the guardrails that run the full length of the bed should be placed
against the wall to prevent entrapment between the bed and the wall.
*The use of water or sleep flotation mattresses is prohibited.
*No more than one person is allowed on the upper bunk at a time.
STRANGULATION HAZARD: Never attach or hang objects to any part of the bed that are not designed for use with
the bed. Objects such as hangers, hooks, belts, bags, ropes, string, etc. should not be used on or around the bunk
bed.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
1. Check cartons to be sure all wooden parts and hardware is included.
2. To begin assembly, obtain one top HB/FB and 2 cleated rails.
3. Hold the HB/FB upright. Insert 30mm bed bolts through metal bracket and bottom set holes on top HB/FB and secure
with cap nuts as shown in Figure 1.
4. Attach another top HB/FB to the other end using the same method as in step 3.
5. Repeat step 3 and 4 for the other side.
6. Obtain one guard rail and assemble to the top holes in the upper bunk headboards by securing 70mm lag bolt screws
thru HB holes and into pre-drilled holes in end of guard rail as shown in Figure 2.
7. Repeat step 6 for the other rail.
8. Secure bed wires with bed wire screws to cleated rails as shown in Figure 3.
9. To assemble the bottom bed repeat steps 2, 3, 4, 5, & 8.
10. If your style bed is a stackable bed, find the metal bed pins and insert into the pre-drilled holes in the top
of each leg of the lower bunk as shown in Figure 4.
11. You may now stack the bed. Do not leave the upper bunk unattached, even if it isn't used for a sleeping area
it may be dislodged and fall resulting in serious injury or death.
12. If ladder is used with your bed, then attach as shown in photo.
Note: gap between ladder and top headboard edge must be less than 3”.
