READ THESE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE ATTEMPTING TO ASSEMBLE THIS BED
MATTRESS SIZES…
Bed Mattresses Specifications:
Use only a mattress meeting the following specifications on the upper and lower bunks.

Total thickness of both mattress and foundation MUST NOT EXCEED 6½” for top and bottom bunks.
SAFETY WARNINGS AND GENERAL NOTES
Follow information on the warnings appearing on the upper bunk end structure and on the carton.
Do not remove warning label from bed.
Always use the recommended size mattress or mattress support, or both, to help prevent the likelihood
or entrapment or falls.
Surface of mattress must be at least 5 in. (127mm) below the upper edge of guard rails.
Do not allow children under 6 years of age to use the upper bunk.
Periodically check and ensure that the guardrail, ladder, and other components are in their proper
position, free from damage, and that all connectors are tight.
Do not allow horseplay on or under the bed and prohibit jumping on the bed.
Always use the ladder for entering and leaving the upper bunk.
Do not use substitute parts. Contact the manufacturer or dealer for replacement parts.
Use of a night light may provide added safety precaution for a child using the upper bunk.
Always use guard rails on both sides of the upper bunk.
The use of water or sleep floatation mattresses is prohibited.
Prohibit more than one person on the upper bunk.
Keep these instructions for future references.
We recommend assembling your bunk bed on the shipping carton to protect your floor or carpet. Be
certain all staples are out of the box before beginning assembly on the shipping carton.
Strangulation Hazard - Never attach or hang items to any part of the bunk bed that are not designed for
use with the bed; for example, but not limited to, hooks, belts and jump ropes.

To help prevent serious or fatal injuries from entrapment or falls:
*Read & follow the information on the WARNING shown on the end structure of the upper bunk or on the carton.
*DO NOT remove the warning label from the bed.
*Keep these instructions for future reference.
*Use only a mattress meeting the following specifications on all upper and lower bunks.

*The MAXIMUM weight capacity for the upper bunk is not to exceed 250 lbs.

free from damage and that all connectors are tightened and secure.
*DO NOT allow horseplay, rough playing or jumping on the beds and do not allow playing or hiding under the beds.
*Always use the ladder for entering or leaving the upper bunk.
*DO NOT use substitute parts. Contact the manufacturer or dealer for replacement parts.
*Use of a nightlight may provide added safety precaution for a person using the upper bunk.
*Always use the guardrails on both sides of the upper bunk.
*If the bunk bed will be placed next to a wall, the guardrails that run the full length of the bed should be placed
against the wall to prevent entrapment between the bed and the wall.
*The use of water or sleep flotation mattresses is prohibited.
*No more than one person is allowed on the upper bunk at a time.
STRANGULATION HAZARD: Never attach or hang objects to any part of the bed that are not designed for use
with the bed. Objects such as hangers, hooks, belts, bags, ropes, string, etc. should not be used on or around the
bunk bed.

#17 ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
1. Check cartons to be sure all wooden parts and hardware is included.
2. Obtain one box of (2) twin top HB/FB and one box of (4) twin top rails.
3. Hold the HB upright. Insert 30mm bed bolts through metal bracket on cleated rail and middle set holes
on top HB (as shown in Figure 1) and secure with cap nut but do not tighten.
4. Repeat step 3 for the other side.
5. Attach the FB to opposite end using the same method as in steps 3 & 4.
6. Attach guard rails to top holes in HB/FB by securing 70mm lag bolt screws thru HB/FB holes and into
pre-drilled holes in end of guard rail as shown in Figure 2.
7. Secure bed wires with bed wire screws to top of cleat on cleated rail as shown in Figure 3.
8. Obtain one box of (2) twin bottom HB/FB and one box of (2) twin bottom rails. Insert 30mm bed bolts
through metal bracket on cleated rail and holes on bottom HB/FB, as shown in Figure 4. Secure with cap
nuts.
9. Turn bottom bed upside down and insert knock-in inserts into pre-drilled holes in the bottom of the
HB/FB. Alight tap with a hammer or mallet will secure inserts. Push casters into inserts.
10. Turn bed upright and roll underneath top bed.
11. Now, go back and fully tighten all cap nuts and bolts to secure bed.
12. Obtain one box of Five Drawer Chest and slide underneath bed, as shown in Figure 5.

1. Check cartons to be sure all wooden parts and hardware is included.
2. Obtain one box of (1) staircase HB, one box (1) FB and one box of (4) twin top rails.
3. Sit staircase HB upright and insert 30mm bed bolts through metal bracket on cleated rail and bottom
set holes of staircase, as shown in Figure 1. Secure with cap nuts but do not tighten.
4. Repeat step 3 for the other side.
5. Attach the FB to opposite end using the same method as in steps 3 & 4.
6. Attach guard rails to top holes in HB/FB by securing 70mm lag bolt screws thru HB/FB holes and into
pre-drilled holes in end of guard rail as shown in Figure 2.
7. Secure bed wires with bed wire screws to top of cleat on cleated rail as shown in Figure 3.
8. Obtain one box of (2) twin bottom HB/FB and one box of (2) twin bottom rails. Insert 30mm bed bolts
through metal bracket on cleated rail and holes on bottom HB/FB, as shown in Figure 4. Secure with cap
nuts.
9. Turn bottom bed upside down and insert knock-in inserts into pre-drilled holes in the bottom of the
HB/FB. Alight tap with a hammer or mallet will secure inserts. Push casters into inserts.
10. Turn bed upright and roll underneath top bed.

12. Obtain one box of Five Drawer Chest and slide underneath bed, as shown in Figure 5.
