(A) Use liquid thread lock (such as Loctite®) with all threaded hardware. Liquid thread lock (prior to
curing) helps to eliminate the common problem of "thread seizure" in stainless steel hardware by serving as a
lubricant during assembly.
(B) For installation of Ramps over hard surfaces (i.e. concrete sidewalks, slabs, etc.) firmly attach
bottom edge of Ramp (Half) using bolts and anchors. Concrete must be allowed to cure completely before using
the equipment (at least 72 hours).
(C) The hardware shown in Figure 3 is the recommendation from the manufacturer and the concrete anchors are
not included with the Equipment. This Figure is provided to show recommended installation of hard surface
mounted Ramps.

Maintenance
Periodically tighten all screws, bolts and nuts. A
periodic inspection of all parts is necessary. If a part
is broken or worn, replace immediately. For general
maintenance please refer to our Playground
Maintenance Manual.

RAMP WHEELCHAIR HALVES BLACK:
Shall be constructed of UV-stabilized, rotationally
molded, Recycled Plastic with an average single
wall thickness of 1/4" with a molded-in footing base.
The Ramp Halves shall be approximately 41" wide
and 72" in length with a sloped surface that is 9"
thick at it's thickest side and less than 1/2" at the
end.
BORDER TIMBER CONNECTOR (RAMP):
Shall be constructed of UV-stabilized, rotationally
molded, Recycled Plastic with an average single
wall thickness of 1/4" with a molded-in footing base.
The Border Timber Connector shall be
approximately 4" thick and 10" in length and 12" tall.
BORDER TIMBER 4'L BLACK:
Shall be constructed of UV-stabilized, rotationally
molded, Recycled Plastic with an average single
wall thickness of 1/4" with a molded-in footing base.
The Border Timber shall be approximately 4" thick
and 52" in length and 12" tall.
HARDWARE:
Shall be stainless steel, zinc/nickel plated or
galvanized as required to resist rust and corrosion.

Installation
Step 1.
Loosely attach Ramp Halves using Border Timber
Connector. Refer to Figure 1 for hardware type and
orientation. Border Timber Connectors
must be installed with the top and bottom reversed
for the opposite side of the Ramp Halves for
connection to Border Timbers. See also Assembly
View for additional details.
Step 2.
Install Border Timbers and connect to Ramp
Assembly using BorderscapeTM Timber Stakes.
Refer to Figure 2 for hardware type and orientation.
Step 3. *Use this Step when installing Border
Timbers without a Ramp Assembly*
Attach Border Timbers together using
BorderscapeTM Timber Stakes. Refer to Figure 3 for
hardware type and orientation.
Step 4.
For installation of Ramp Halves over hard surfaces
(i.e. concrete) refer to Figure 4. See also Hard
Surface Mount Diagram and Notes B and C.
Step 5.
Apply liquid thread lock and fully tighten all fasteners
according to the "TIGHTENING TORQUE FOR
HARDWARE" Section of the Installation Manual.
