TheLine/Speaker-outjack iscontrolledbythejumperJP10 &JP11(refertoJumperSet-
tingsbelowfordetails).IfsetasLine out,thisallowsyou tobypassthe built-inpower
amplifiertoconnectpoweredspeakersoranexternalamplifierforaudiooutput. If setas
Speakerout, thisallowsyoutoconnectspeakersorheadphonesforaudiooutputfromthe
internalamplifier.
TheMIDI/Joystick connectorallowsyoutoconnectagamejoystick oraMIDIdevice.
ATXPowerSupplyConnector&PowerSwitch(POWER)
ATX/SFXpowersupplycanbothbeusedonthissystem.Besuretoconnectthepower
supplyplug tothisconnectorinitsproperorientation.Thepowerswitch(POWER)should
beconnectedtoamomentaryswitch.Whenpowering up yoursystem,firstturnonthe
mechanicalswitchofthepowersupplyifoneisprovided,then pushoncethebutton of
themomentaryswitch.Whenpowering off thesystem,youneedn’tturnoff themechani-
calswitch,justPushonce*thebutton ofthemomentaryswitch.
Note:*Ifyou change“soft-off byPWR-BTTN”fromdefault“Instant-off”to“Delay
4Secs”inthe“POWERMANAGEMENTSETUP”sectionoftheBIOS,thepower
buttonshouldbepressedformorethan4secondsbeforethesystempowers
down.

Wake-UpOnLAN (WOL)

supplyofwhich5VSB lineiscapableofdelivering 720mA,andaLANadapterwhich
supportsthisfunctionareused.Thenconnectthisheadertotherelevantconnectoronthe
LANadapter,set“WakeUpOnLAN”asEnabled inthe“POWERMANAGEMENTSETUP”

Enablekeyboardpasswordpower-on function (JP2)
Themotherboardprovidestheadvanced keyboardpasswordpower-onfunction.When
wantingtousethisfunction,setJP2withpin1&pin2closed.Otherwise,setJP2withpin2 &pin3
closedfordisabling thisfunction.
Inordertoimplementthisfunction,set“POWERONFunction”toPasswordandenterthe
keyboardpower-on passwordinthe“INTEGRATEDPERIPHERALS”sectionoftheBIOS.
Saveandexit,thenpoweroffyoursystem.Inthiscase,thepowerbutton’spower-on
function hasbeen disabled.Theonlywaytopowerup thesystemistoenterthecorrect
password.Ifyouforgetthepassword,clearCMOSandsetitagain.RefertoBIOSdescrip-
tiononpage46 fordetail information.
Note:1.Ifwantingtousethisfunction,5VSBlineofthepowersupplyshouldbe
capableofdelivering200mA,orthesystemcan’tbepoweredup.
2.IfyousetJP2withpin2&pin3closed,set“POWERONFunction”to
BUTTONONLY,don’tsetittoPassword,orthiswill preventyoufrom
poweringupyoursystem.
