1.7Operation conditions
1.7.1Productlocation and operation position
•The assemblyand operation ofelectricactuatorsinstandardmakecan be on covered places of
industrialobjectswithoutthe regulation oftemperature,humidityand withprotection againstdirect
exposureofclimateinfluence (e.g.direct sunshine).
•Electricactuatorsmustbe placed withaccess tothe manualhandle(5), Fig.4and Fig.6,tothe
cover ofcontrolbox,tocontrolbox,tocableglands,tolocalelectriccontrol.
•Installation and operationofactuatorsispossibleineitherposition.Common position isthe one
withverticalposition ofexitpart axisand controlboxabove.Avoidtoarrangethe electricactuator
underthe armatureif possible.
Warning:
Actuator installed ontheopen place mustbe protected against adirect climateeffectsby
shelter, mainlyfromsunshine. Inapplications placed inan ambientof arelativemoisture
above80%, inexternalambient undershed,it isnecessarytochangethepresetthermostat
temperature+25°C to+70°CbyaPC andprogramtoprevent switchingoff the heating
resistor.
