GTR064 Movement Issue
Gate does not move when remote button is pressed
Gate does not stop at the limit switch or does not soft close
Gate does not fully open or close.
Gate opens but cannot close.
Possible Causes
CAUTION
** Any works done to the motor must be completed whilst the power is off, and the motor is unplugged **
1. Remotes are not operating, or are not paired correctly (Refer fig 1)
2. The gate direction setup is incorrect (Refer fig 2 – 4)
3. The magnets are not positioned correctly (Refer fig 5 & 6)
4. The motor output force is too low (Refer fig 7)
5. Photocell settings or mounting is incorrect (Refer fig 8)
Step-by-Step Troubleshooting

1. Check your remote LED lights up when button #1 is pressed
- Repeat the pairing procedure

2. The gates are factory set for a Right-Hand opening gate. Please check your settings as below
- For a Left-Hand opening gate, you will need to make three changes
o Magnet positions are reversed (fig 2)
o Dip Switch number 5 is set to ON (fig 3)
o 2 out of the 3 wires in J10 wiring terminal need to be changed (fig 4)

3. Check the limit switch magnets to make sure they are positioned correctly
- If the magnets are more than 10mm from the motor housing the limit switch may not activate correctly
- If the magnets are set too close to the end of the gate, the gate may hit the catch or stopper before the
magnet is able to read its position correctly

4. Check your VR3 setting. This controls the stall force adjustment and will stop the gate if it detects an impact
or is having trouble opening or closing. Factory default setting is at maximum.
- If it is turned down, rotate the VR3 clockwise to increase the output.

5. If you are using an infra-red or reflective photocell, please check your wiring diagram for correct connection,
and make sure that the beam is correctly aligned and not blocked.
- If NOT using an infra-red or reflective photocell, please check your dip switches and terminals as below
- Dip switch #8 should be OFF if NOT using a photocell
- The J1 terminal on the PC board should also have a bridge wire between terminals 5 & 6
