Tutti gli articoli della gamma Rise sono il frutto di una lunga esperienza nel settore degli automatismi meccanici ed elettronici.
Proprio per questo, oggi siamo in grado di offrire dei dissuasori automatici estremamente innovativi ed afdabili che, grazie alla
loro potenza, efcienza e durata, soddisfano pienamente le esigenze dell’utente nale.
Tutti i nostri prodotti sono coperti da garanzia biennale.
Inoltre, una polizza R.C. prodotti stipulata con primaria compagnia assicurativa copre eventuali danni a cose o persone causati
da difetti di fabbricazione.
Informazioni generali
Il dissuasore automatico Vigilant 800/I, con la sua elevata resistenza all'impatto ed il suo design elegante, è adatto all'installazione
in luoghi pubblici o commerciali ed è particolarmente indicato per la protezione di edici.
La versione standard, realizzata in acciaio, è verniciata con cataforesi, un trattamento anticorrosione che conferisce elevatissima
resistenza ad agenti atmosferici e ambienti salini.
Il dissuasore funziona a 24Vdc; un sensore amperometrico rileva eventuali ostacoli durante la salita e inverte immediatamente il
movimento. Il dissuasore è equipaggiato con 12 led a funzionamento sequenziale e con una fascia riettente ad alta visibilità. In
caso di emergenza, il dissuasore può essere facilmente sbloccato. In caso di mancanza di corrente possono essere selezionate
diverse funzioni: il dissuasore può rimanere estratto oppure può essere sbloccato ed abbassato tenendo premuto il pulsante di
emergenza; è disponibile anche la discesa automatica in mancanza di corrente (accessorio). Il sistema è altresì predisposto per
l'installazione di un gruppo di continuità (accessorio) che permette l'uso del dissuasore in modalità automatica anche in caso di
mancanza di corrente.
La cassa di fondazione è realizzata in acciaio verniciato con trattamento di cataforesi ed è di facile assemblaggio in loco prima
dell'installazione. Nel caso che il dissuasore non venga installato immediatamente, è disponibile un coperchio per la chiusura
del foro.

1 - Posizionare in verticale i tre elementi laterali come da immagine a lato.
2 - Usando le viti a testa bombata in dotazione si componga la struttura
esagonale. È molto importante assemblare i tre elementi in maniera verti-
cale e su una supercie che assicuri ottima planarità in modo da ottenere
un piano d'appoggio della angia di chiusura afdabile. Attenzione: La
testa della vite deve essere posizionata sul lato interno della cassa di
fondazione. Vedi gura a lato.
3 - Prima di ssare la angia superiore, inserire la protezione metallica
del tubo corrugato da diametro 50 mm che deve essere predisposto sul
terreno per il successivo collegamento elettrico alla centrale di comando.

4 - Fissare la angia superiore con le viti a testa bombata in dotazione.
Attenzione: La testa delle viti deve essere posizionata sulla parte alta
della flangia (interno cassa).
In questo modo la cassa di fondazione viene completata. Vedi gura a
lato.
5 - Montare le zanche come in gura bloccandole in posizione con la ron-
della e la vite M10 a testa esagonale. Piegarle in base alla fondazione.
6 - Fare lo scavo nel terreno con le quote indicate nell'immagine a lato e
preparare un fondo drenante adeguato. Inserire la cassa di fondazione
all'interno dello scavo. Attenzione: La cassa deve poggiare sul fondo
dello scavo e deve essere perfettamente verticale - controllare usan-
do una livella appoggiata sulla flangia superiore.
Importante: Per un agevole inserimento nella cassa, la predisposizione
della guaina corrugata deve trovarsi a 200mm dalla supercie di pavimen-
tazione, come indicato in gura.
Inserire la guaina corrugata di diametro 50 mm nella cassa attraverso la
guida metallica.
Il tubo corrugato deve entrare per un massimo di 2/3cm all'interno della
protezione metallica, in modo da non interferire nel successivo inserimen-
to del dissuasore.
Fissare la cassa con il cemento.
Attenzione: Assicurarsi, durante la colata, che il tassello di fissag-
gio posto al di sotto della zanca sia completamente sommerso dal
cemento. Usando una livella verificare l'orizzontalità del piano della
flangia.
TEST DEL DRENAGGIO
Effettuare uno scavo nel terreno fondo 1400 mm e introdurre approssima-
tivamente 35 lt d'acqua. L' acqua deve drenare entro 30 minuti, contra-
riamente, è necessario drenarla attreverso un tubo collegato ad un pozzo
provvisto di pompa elettrica.

8 - Prima di inserire il dissuasore nella sua sede, rimuovere la chiusura pre-
cedentemente disposta o il coperchio avendo cura di pulire attentamente la
sede di ancoraggio del dissuasore rapprentata dalla zona in grigio.

7 - Dopo aver posizionato la cassa, assicurarsi di coprire il vano aperto,
per tutto il tempo in cui il dissuasore non è inserito, con adeguata chiu-
sura atta ad impedire incidenti che possano coinvolgere persone o
cose. Un coperchio in lamiera è disponibile come opzione.

9 -Prevedere una scatola di derivazione in prossimità (max 2/3m) del dis-
suasore (Rif. S), nella quale lasciare un circa 1m di abbondanza di cavo.
Durante l'inserimento del dissuasore, grazie a questa derivazione sarà
possibile recuperare/rilasciare il cavo
Nel caso di installazione di più dissuasori, prevedere una scatola di deri-
vazione per ogni dissuasore.
Nella posa delle condutture cercate di mantenere il percorso il più lineare
possibile, evitando angoli troppo accentuati.

10 - Attenzione: Il dissuasore viene fornito con un breve tratto di cavo
di collegamento dotato di connettore maschio IP68.
Per il collegamento alla centrale di comando, sono disponibili diverse
prolunghe, (da 5 a 25m) dotate di connettore femmina IP68.
Unire le due parti del connettore allineando la freccia con il cerchio come
indicato, quindi avvitare completamente la ghiera di ssaggio.
IMPORTANTE: E' indispensabile chiudere completamente ed in modo
corretto il connettore per evitare di piegare i contatti elettrici ed evi-
tare infiltrazioni d'acqua. Osservate con attenzione il connettore e le
illustrazioni a fianco prima di procedere. Non forzare per nessun mo-
tivo l'inserimento delle due parti del connettore.
Il connettore correttamente serrato garantisce il grado di protezione
IP68. Il costruttore non fornisce garanzia in caso di malfunzionamenti
e guasti dovuti ad errata chiusura del connettore.
Si consiglia di vericare lo scorrimento del connettore all'interno della
guaina simulando lo scorrimento del cavo all'interno del dissuasore, utiliz-
zando se necessario prodotti specici.

11 - Il cavo va recuperato mentre il dissuasore si avvicina alla cassa di
fondazione (rif A).
Importante: In questa fase il connettore deve essere libero di scorrere
all'interno della guaina corrugata. Per questo motivo è indispensabile che
il tratto tra dissuasore e scatola di derivazione sia collegato da una guaina
da 50mm di diametro, correttamente posata, senza giunzioni e/o riduzioni
di sezione.
Durante la discesa del dissuasore nella cassa il cavo andrà progressiva-
mente rilasciato (Rif.B).
Il connettore ad inserimento ultimato deve trovarsi in prossimità della
protezione metallica (rif C).
Fare attenzione al cavo elettrico che deve essere libero nella sede della
cassa e privo di schiacciamenti.

12 - Utilizzare tre golfari con prigionieri M16 per sollevare il dissuasore.

15 - Dopo aver portato il dissuasore in posizione di riposo, togliere
i blocchi sull'anello guida tubo e posizionare la flangia calpestabile.
Controllare con la angia calpestabile il livello nale dal pavimento ester-
no.
Inserire le viti M10x25 TCEI inox e le relative rondelle.
Coprire i fori con i tappi in gomma in dotazione. Procedere con il collega-
mento elettrico seguendo accuratamente lo schema fornito con la centrale
e l'applicazione della fascia catarifrangente. Vedi gure a lato.

ATTENZIONE - PERICOLO
MAI AZIONARE IL DISSUASORE PRIMA DI AVER
FISSATO LA FLANGIA CALPESTABILE!
14 - Vericare che la distanza fra la angia del dissuasore ed il bordo su-
periore della cassa/pavimento sia pari a 23-24mm.
Rispettando questa distanza la angia calpestabile, risulterà leggermente
sporgente rispetto (1/2mm) alla pavimentazione, limitando le inltrazioni di
sporcizia all'interno del dissuasore.
Sempre per limitare la possibilità di inltrazioni prevedere, se la pavimen-
tazione lo permette, una leggera pendenza attorno alla cassa di fonda-
zione.

13 - Una volta posizionato il dissuasore all'interno della cassa, togliere i
golfari di sollevamento e utilizzando gli stessi fori, posizionare i blocchi
sull'anello guida tubo.
I blocchi sono indispensabili per poter sollevare il dissuasore senza angia
calpestabile.
Inserire parzialmente le viti inox M10x40 con le relative rondelle nei tre fori
Ø 13, senza ssarle completamente alla cassa, in modo da agire successi-
vamente sui piedini di regolazione per la messa a livello del dissuasore.
Collegare il dissuasore alle centrale di comando, e sollevare elettricamente
il dissuasore. Fare riferimento alle istruzioni fornite con la centrale.
Con il dissuasore completamente sollevato registrare la planarità del dis-
suasore. Eseguire questa registrazione a dissuasore sollevato permette di
vericare anche visivamente la perfetta verticalità del cilindro, condizione
indispensabile per il buon funzionamento dell'automazione.

NORME DI SICUREZZA
ATTENZIONE: Leggere attentamente il manuale d'istruzione in tutte le sue parti e conservarlo in luogo sicuro per even-
tuali consultazioni future. La mancata osservanza delle norme e delle avvertenze riportate nel presente manuale o una
errata installazione possono causare danni a persone o cose.
- Questo prodotto è stato progettato e costruito esclusivamente per l'utilizzo indicato nella presente documentazione.
Ogni utilizzo difforme può essere causa di danneggiamento del prodotto o fonte di pericolo per persone e/o cose.
- Non installare il prodotto in atmosfera esplosiva: la presenza di gas o vapori inammabili è fonte di grave pericolo.
- L'installazione deve essere effettuata in osservanza delle norme vigenti.
- Per installazioni in Paesi extra CEE, oltre ai riferimenti normativi nazionali, devono essere seguite le norme e le avver-
tenze sopra menzionate per ottenere un livello di sicurezza adeguato.
- Vericare che la messa a terra dell'impianto sia stata eseguita secondo le norme della Buona Tecnica e collegarvi le
parti metalliche.
- Si consiglia, per ogni impianto, un adeguato cartello di segnalazione.
- Non sostare nella zona di movimento del dissuasore.
- Non lasciare i materiali di imballaggio (plastica, polistirolo, legno ...) alla portata dei bambini in quanto potenziali fonti
di pericolo.
- Non lasciare che i bambini giochino con i comandi o in prossimità del dissuasore.
- In caso di anomalie di funzionamento non tentare di riparare il guasto ma avvertire un tecnico specializzato. Utilizzare
solo accessori originali RISE Srl.
- Non eseguire modiche su componenti facenti parte del sistema RISE. Eventuali modiche, alterazioni, manomissioni
del sistema RISE o l'uso di accessori non originali RISE fa decadere la garanzia del prodotto e RISE Srl declina ogni
responsabilità ai ni della sicurezza e del buon funzionamento dell'impianto.
- L'installatore deve fornire all'utilizzatore tutte le informazioni necessarie per l'uso e la manutenzione dell'impianto e per
la manovra manuale e d'emergenza. Deve consegnare e l'utilizzatore deve richiedere il libretto con le avvertenze e le
norme d'uso e manutenzione.
- Il transito attraverso il passaggio controllato tramite il dissuasore deve avvenire solo ed esclusivamente quando quest'ul-
timo è completamente abbassato.
- Tutto quello che non è previsto espressamente in queste istruzioni non è permesso.
ATTENZIONE: PRECAUZIONE D'USO
In caso di allagamenti o precipitazioni straordinarie che risultino in evidenti difcoltà di drenaggio, evitare l'uso del dissuasore
nchè le condizioni normali siano ripristinate.
MANOVRA MANUALE DI EMERGENZA
In caso di assenza di alimentazione di rete o di funzionamento anomalo, è possibile sbloccare il dissuasore tramite l'interruttore
d'emergenza posto vicino alla centrale. Tener premuto l'interruttore per far scendere il dissuasore.
Le centrali per 2/4 dissuasori sono dotate di morsetti ABC che consentono di far salire o scendere il dissuasore anche in caso di
guasto totale delle centrali e in assenza di alimentazione di rete.
MANUTENZIONE
- Sostituire massimo ogni 2 anni le batterie tampone nella centrale. Per lo smaltimento attenersi alle normative vigenti.
- Astenersi assolutamente dal tentativo di effettuare riparazioni: potreste incorrere in incidenti; per queste operazioni
contattare un tecnico specializzato.
La manutenzione ai dissuasori, alle centrali e a tutto l’impianto deve essere fatta esclusivamente da personale tecnico
specializzato.
I dissuasori RISE non necessitano di una particolare manutenzione, si raccomanda di vericare periodicamente che la
zona del dissuasore sia sufcientemente pulita, ed all’occorrenza sostituire le guarnizioni poste alla base del dissuasore.
Solo in caso di utilizzo intensivo del prodotto si consiglia di effettuare controlli periodici programmati di tutto il sistema per
assicurare un corretto funzionamento e una prolungata vita del prodotto.
Controllare lo stato e l’efcienza delle batterie delle centrali e dei gruppi UPS almeno una volta all’anno e se necessario
provvedere alla loro sostituzione.Le batterie devono essere sostituite almeno una volta ogni due anni. Per altre indicazioni
circa la manutenzione del prodotto consultare i manuali tecnici in dotazione a dissuasori e centrali.
SMALTIMENTO
Qualora il dissuasore venga posto fuori servizio, è necessario seguire le disposizioni legislative in vigore al momento per quanto
riguarda lo smaltimento differenziato ed il riciclaggio dei vari componenti (metalli, plastiche, cavi elettrici, ecc.); è consigliabile
contattare il vostro installatore o una ditta specializzata ed abilitata allo scopo.
ATTENZIONE
Tutti i prodotti RISE sono coperti da polizza assicurativa che risponde di eventuali danni a cose o persone causati da difetti di
fabbricazione.

We thank you for having chosen one of our Vigilant model automatic rising bollards.
All articles in the Rise range are the fruit of long experience in the sector of mechanical and electronic automations.
This is why today we are able to offer extremely innovative and reliable automatic rising bollards that, thanks to their per-
formance, efciency and durability, fully satisfy the nal customer’s requirements.
All our products are covered by a two-year warranty.
Furthermore, a product Civil Liability policy stipulated with a leading insurance company covers any damage to things or
persons caused by manufacturing defects.
General information
The Vigilant 800/I automatic rising bollard, with its high resistance to impact and elegant design, is suitable for installation
in public or commercial areas and is particularly indicated for protecting of buildings.
The standard version, manufactured in steel, is painted with electrophoresis painting, a corrosion-proof treatment that
guarantees an extremely elevated resistance to the elements and to salty environments.
The bollard is operated with 24Vdc; an amperometric sensor detects any obstacles when rising and inverts the movement
immediately. The bollard is tted with 12 leds that operate in sequence and with a high-visibility reecting band. The bollard
can be easily unlocked in an emergency. In the event of a power cut different functions can be selected: the bollard can
remain in raised position or can be unlocked and lowered by keeping the emergency button pressed; automatic lowering
in the event of a power cut is also available (accessory). The system can also be tted with an uninterrupted power supply
unit (accessory) that allows the bollard to be used in automatic mode even in the event of a power cut.
The foundation case is manufactured in cataphoresis-painted steel and can easily be assembled on site before installation.
If the bollard is not installed immediately, a cover for closing the hole is available.

1 - Place the three side elements vertically as in the image alongside.
2 - Using the round head screws provided, assemble the hexagonal struc-
ture. It is very important to assemble the three elements vertically and on
a surface that ensures excellent atness so as to obtain a reliable support
surface for the closing ange. Attention: The screw head must be placed
on the internal side of the foundation case. See gure alongside.
3 - Before xing the upper ange, insert the metallic protection of the 50
mm diameter corrugated pipe which must be set in the ground to make
the subsequent electrical connection with the control unit. See gures
alongside.

4 - Fix the upper ange using the round head screws provided.
Attention: The screw heads must be placed on the upper part of the
flange (inside the case).
This way the foundation case is complete. See gure alongside.
5 -Fit the clamps as in the gure locking them in position with the washer and
the M10 hexagonal head screw. Fold them according to the foundation.
6 - Carry out the excavation in the ground with the measurements indi-
cated in the image alongside and prepare a suitable draining foundation.
Insert the foundation case in the excavation. Attention: The case must
rest on the bottom of the excavation and must be perfectly vertical -
check this by placing a level on the upper flange.
Important: In order to make inserting the case easier, preparation for the
corrugated sheath must be 200mm from the ooring surface, as shown
in gure.
Insert the 50 mm diameter corrugated sheath in the case using the metal
guide.
The corrugated pipe must enter a maximum of 2/3 cm inside of the metal
protection, so that it does not interfere when the bollard is later inserted.
Fix the case with cement.
Attention: Make sure, during the cast, that the fixing plug located un-
der the cramp-iron is completely covered by concrete. Using a spirit
level, check if the flange plane is horizontal.
TEST FOR DRAINAGE
Dig a hole down to 1400mm and introduce approx 35 lt of water.
Water has to drain out within 30 minutes. In case the water will remain
longer into the hole, it is necessary to drain the water out through a pipe
connected to a pit with an electric pump.

9 -Plan for a junction box in proximity (max 2/3m) of the bollard (Ref. S),
where about 1m of extra cable should be left. While inserting the bollard,
thanks to this junction box it will be possible to recover/release the cable
When installing multiple bollards, plan on a junction box for each bollard.
When laying the conduit, try to keep the path as straight as possible,
avoiding sharp corners.

8 - Before inserting the bollard into its housing, remove the previously placed
closing or cover making sure that the anchorage housing of the bollard,
represented by the grey area, is cleaned carefully.

7 - After positioning the case, make sure that the open recess is cov-
ered, for the entire amount of time that the rising bollard is not inserted,
with covering that is suitable to avoid accidents that may involve per-
sons or property. A sheet metal cover is available as an option.

10 -Attention: The bollard is equipped with a short segment of con-
nection cable equipped with a male IP68 connector.
Different size extension cords are available (5 to 25 m), , equipped
with a female IP68 connector, for connecting to the control unit.
Bring the two parts of the connector together, aligning the arrow with the
circle as shown, then fully screw down the xing nut.
IMPORTANT: You must close the connector fully and in the correct
manner to avoid bending the electrical contacts and to ensure a wa-
terproof seal. Check the connector and the illustrations carefully be-
fore proceeding. Do not force the two parts of the connector for any
reason.
The connector, when correctly put together, guarantees IP68 protec-
tion. The manufacturer cannot guarantee against faults and malfunc-
tions in the event of incorrect connection of the connector.
You are advised to check movement of the connector in the sheathing by
simulating the movement of the cable in the bollard, using specic prod-
ucts if necessary.

12 - Use three eyebolts with M16 studs to lift the bollard.

11 - The cable must be recovered while the bollard comes near the foun-
dation case (ref A).
Important: In this phase the connector must be free to slide inside of the
corrugated sheath. For this reason is it necessary for the segment be-
tween the bollard and the junction box to be connected by a sheath with
a diameter of 50 mm, correctly placed, without joints or cross section re-
ductions.
The cable must be gradually released while the bollard descends in the
case, (Ref. B)
Once the insertion has been completed, the connector must be in
proximity of the metal protection (ref C).
Pay attention to the electrical cable, it must be free inside the case housing
and it must not be crushed.

15 - When the bollard is lowered, take out the blocks on the pipe guide
ring and place the treadable flange.
With the treadable ange check the nal level with respect to the external
oor.
Insert the washers and the M10x25 TCEI stainless steel screws.
Cover the holes with the rubber caps provided. Carry out the electrical
connection carefully following the diagram supplied with the control unit.

14 - Verify that the distance between the bollard ange and the upper edge
of the case/ooring is equal to 23-24 mm.
By respecting this distance the treadable ange will be slightly raised com-
pared (1/2mm) to the ooring, limiting the amount of dirt that may inltrate
the inside of the bollard.
In an effort to reduce possible inltrations, if the ooring allows it, plan on
a slight slope around the foundation case.

13 - After positioning the bollard inside the case, remove the lifting
eye¬bolts and, using the same holes, position the blocks on the pipe
guide ring.
The blocks are necessary in order to lift the bollard without the treadable
ange.
Insert the M10x40 stainless steel screws partially with the relevant wash-
ers into the three holes Ø13, without screwing them completely, in order to
regulate the planarity of the bollard through the adjustable supports.
Connect the bollard to the control unit and then lift it electrically. Refer to
instructions supplied with the control unit.
With the bollard completely lifted, adjust its level. Completing this adjust-
ment with the bollard lifted makes it possible to verify, even visually, that
the cylinder is perfectly vertical, a necessary condition for the automation
to operate properly.

SAFETY STANDARDS
ATTENTION:
Carefully read the instructions manual in all of its pars and keep it in a safe location for any future consultation.
Not following the standards and warnings included in the present manual or an incorrect installation may damage per-
sons or property.
-This product has been designed and manufactured exclusively for the use indicated in this documentation. Any non-conforming
use may damage the product or be a source of danger for persons and/or property.
- Do not install the product in an explosive atmosphere: the presence of ammable gasses or vapours is a source a serious
danger.
- Installation must be completed in observance of current standards.
- For installation in countries outside of the EEC, besides national reference regulations, the above mentioned standards and
warnings must be obeyed in order to obtain a suitable level of safety.
- Verify that the system has been earthed according to Good Practice standards and the metal parts must be connected to it.
- For each system, a suitable sign is recommended.
- Do not stand in the movement area of the bollard.
- Do not leave packaging materials (plastic, polystyrene, wood ...) within reach of children because they may be a potential
source of danger.
- Do not allow children to play with the commands or in proximity of the bollard.
- In the case of functioning anomalies do not attempt to repair the fault but contact a specialised technician. Only use original
RISE Srl accessories.
- Do not modify any components that are part of the RISE system. Any modication, alterations or tampering with the RISE
system, or the use of non original RISE accessories, will cause the product warranty to lapse and RISE Srl declines any re-
sponsibility with regards to safety and proper system operation.
- The installer must provide the user with all information necessary for system use and maintenance along with manual and
emergency manoeuvres. He must deliver them and the user must request the booklet containing warnings and use and main-
tenance standards.
- The bollard must be completely lowered before transiting through the controlled passage area.
- Anything that is not specifically planned for in these instructions is not allowed.
ATTENTION: PRECAUTIONS FOR USE
In case of ooding or signicant precipitation that causes obvious drainage problems, avoid using the bollard until normal
conditions have been restored.
MANUAL EMERGENCY MANOEUVRE
In the event of a power cut or of malfunction the bollard can be unlocked with the emergency switch tted close to the control
unit. Keep the switch pressed to lower the bollard.
Control units for 2/4 bollards are equipped with ABC clamps that raise or lower the bollard even in case of complete control unit
malfunction and without mains power supply.
MAINTENANCE
- Replace the buffer battery in the control unit maximum every 2 years. Dispose of them in compliance with the Standards in
force.
- Absolutely avoid attempting to carry out repairs: you could cause accidents; for such operations call a specialised techni-
cian.
Maintenance to bollards, control units and the entire system must be completed exclusively by specialised technical personnel.
The RISE bollards do not require any special maintenance, periodically checking that the area around the bollard is suf-
ciently clean and, as needed, the gaskets at the base of the bollard should be replaced. Programmed routine controls
of the entire system are recommended only in cases of intense product use in order to ensure correct operation and long
product life.
Check the state and efciency of the control unit and UPS unit batteries at least once a year and, if necessary, have them
replaced. The batteries must be replaced at least once every two years. For other instructions regarding product mainte-
nance consult the technical manuals supplied with the bollards and control units.
DISPOSAL
If the bollard is withdrawn from service, the current laws and regulations in force concerning the separate waste disposal
and the recycling of the various components (metals, plastics, electric cables etc.) must be respected; it is advisable to
contact your installer or a specialised company, authorised for the purpose.
ATTENTION
All RISE products are covered by an insurance policy that answers for any damage to things or persons caused by manu-
facturing defects.
