Choose a suitable location where the item can be seen and interacted with safely.
10. Detailed Description
A softly-lit table for sensory exploration. Hollow yet strong plastic. Aesthetically
pleasing shape and colours. Especially effective in a darkened environment. Includes
small remote control to choose from 16 colours or to select the fade mode through a
spectrum of shades. The colour spreads evenly through the whole shape. Includes a
low voltage mains supply for charging the table. Once charged for 6 hours, the power
supply can be detached and the table can be used where required –indoors or out - and
illuminated for approximately 10 hours. The items shown are for illustration purposes
and are not included. Water resistant and IP65 rated. Tested up to 80kg of load.
11. Safety
Please read all the following safety information before each use
ALWAYS SUPERVISE THE USE OF THIS PRODUCT

Remove all packaging and either store this in a safe place out of reach of clients or
dispose of this responsibly. Plastic bags and wrapping can be hazardous to children
and vulnerable people.
Keep away from sources of heat and fire.
Do not fully immerse in water, the table is water-resistant, not waterproof. The
remote control and power adapter are not water-resistant and should be kept
away from water.
Do not leave outside, store in a dry area.
IMPORTANT: WARNING PHOTOSENSITIVE EPILEPSY
In fast flashing or strobe mode, the light source may potentially trigger seizures with
children that have a history of photosensitive epilepsy. We therefore recommend
that you do not use the fast flashing or strobe mode and suggest the remote control
should only be used by a responsible adult or under adult supervision.

13. Installation
Ensure that a risk assessment of the area has been made and the surrounding
area is clear from obstruction and access routes are clear to enable safe use of
the product.
Select the adaptor for your territory, UK, US, EU or AUS and click securely into
position. Push button to remove adaptor.
Plug the power cable into the mains. The LED will light white while charging,
then turn off when fully charged.

14. Care and Maintenance
Extend battery life by charging when power is low, rather than allowing light to
become completely exhausted.
We advise cleaning this item with a non-abrasive mild soap solution and a clean cloth.
The remote control and power adapter are NOT waterproof. Please keep these away
from water.

15. Troubleshooting
In the unlikely event of product failure, please check the following:
Problem: The table does not light up using the remote control
• Press the OFF/ON button on the panel on the underside of the table:
-If the power supply is charging the table (if it is displaying the LED charging light), the
problem is likely to lie with the remote control, rather than the power supply.
-If the table lights up, keep pressing this OFF/ON button to click through the colours.
Press and hold to switch off. If the table lights up using this manual button, check the
battery in the remote control. If the remote control still does not work, even when a
new battery is used, please contact us regarding a replacement remote control.
-If the table does not light up when the OFF/ON button is pressed, please check that
you are using the correct power supply (as shown in these instructions). Using a
different power supply of a different/higher voltage is likely to cause a technical
fault which will invalidate any possibility of repair/replacement. If the power supply
is the same as that shown above, the table itself could be problematic and is likely to
need returning to us for inspection.
Problem: The table will not charge up
Ensure that the unit is switched OFF while charging. If the unit is switched ON, the
power supply will act as a power source only and will not charge the unit. The unit
needs to be switched off in order to hold charge.
Check that the correct power supply unit is being used with the table. Only use the
TickiT 5 volt PSU supplied with the unit.
