LIMITED WARRANTY
The Russound SPG is fully guaranteed for Two (2) years from the date of purchase against all defects
in materials and workmanship. During this period Russound will replace any defective parts and cor-
rect any defect in workmanship without charge for either parts or labor. For this warranty to apply,
the unit must be installed and used according to its written instructions. If service is necessary, it
must be performed by Russound. The unit must be returned to Russound at the owner’s expense and

Damage to or destruction of components due to improper use voids the warranty. In these cases the
repair will be made at the owner’s expense. To return for repairs, the unit must be shipped to

INTRODUCTION
The SPG System Paging Keypad works with Russound’s Multi-Source, Multi-
Zone Preamps. The SPG Paging Module provides “Push-to-Talk” paging oper-
ation.
FUNCTIONS
Russound Preamps are equipped with multiple paging inputs. They are con-
figured to page to all zones (except the zone where the page originates) at
the preset volume level (if set) or half volume (if no volume level is stored
into memory). The preamp’s paging feature is also configured to automati-
cally turn on zones which may be turned off, as well as any equipment
attached to the AC switched outlets or 12V triggers when a page is active.
Some models contain a “Page All” input as well. Using this input allows you
to page all zones including the zone where the page originates.
CONNECTIONS
Use 22-24 AWG 4 conductor twisted pair shielded wire to connect the SPG
to the page input as shown in the diagram below.
NOTE: Use only UL/CSA approved junction box.
