Please read before first use
The eMag 43 HD is supplied with four rechargeable AAA NiMH batteries (1000 mAh) that must be charged before
first use. Charging time is approx. 2 hours. You can also use 4 AAA single-use alkaline batteries to power the unit.
Refer to Charging rechargeable batteries –> on page 13 for instructions on battery charging.
Refer to Battery status LED –> on page 11 for a description of the battery status indicators.
See Quick start –> on page 9 for all the basic information you need to start using your eMag 43 HD.
For a general overview of the
eMag 43 HD, we recommend reading this manual first.
Caution: Do not use rechargeable batteries (NiMH) together with single-use alkaline batteries. When
replacing batteries, make sure to use the same type. Never use old, new and different Ah
batteries at the same time. Failure to follow this precaution can result in battery failure or
leakage of battery fluid. If batteries are replaced by the incorrect type, there is a risk of
explosion. Do not use batteries that specify a maximum charging current below 250 mA.
