PRELIMINARY: Disconnectthe negative batterycable.
ANTENNA: Thefactory antennais located atopthe rightfront
fenderpanel
RADIOREMOVALANDIN-DASH INSTALLATION:
Note: The factory radio provision is for a Chrysler
contoured radio. An installation kit is necessary
when using an aftermarket radio. We
recommend the use of a Scosche CR1277
installationkit.
1. Using a small pick tool, unsnap power window control.
Extract (1) Phillips head screw from behind, lift away,
disconnectandremove.
2. Usinga panel removaltool, carefullyremove dash bezel.
3. Extract (4) Phillips head screws securing radio, lift away,
disconnectandremove.
FRONTDOOR SPEAKER INSTALLATION:
Note: The factory speaker provision is for a 7" Chrysler 3-
tab speaker. When installing an aftermarket 5 ¼ or 6
½” speaker, a speaker adapter is required. We
recommend the use of a Scosche SAC656 speaker
adapter.
1. Extract (3) Phillips head screws perimeter of door panel
and(1) Phillipshead screwfrom doorrelease cup.
2. Extract (2)Torx screws from bottom of door handle.
3. Usinga panel removaltool, unsnapfastenersalong
perimeterof doorpanel,lift awayand remove doorpanel.
4. Extract (3) Phillips head screws securing speaker, lift
away, disconnectandremove
REARPILLAR SPEAKER INSTALLATION:
Note: The factory speaker provision is for a standard 6 x
8" speaker. When installing an aftermarket 5 ¼ or 6 ½”
speaker, a speaker adapter is required. We recommend
the use of a Scosche SAC68 speaker adapter.
1. Usinga panelremovaltool, unsnapandremove rearpillar
panel.
2. Extract (4) Phillips head screws securing speaker, lift
away, disconnectandremove.
