This manual supplements the system manual SIMATIC MICRO-DRIVE Drive controller PDC
(https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/109774126). The manual contains a
compact description of the device-specific information. The system-related functions are
described in the system manual. All system-spanning functions are described in the function
manuals.
The information provided in this manual and the system manual enables you to commission
the PDC1000 drive controller.

PDC1000: The statements made in this manual for the PDC1000 drive controller also apply
to the fail-safe variant PDC1000F. Any differences are noted at the respective location.
