Installation of the video splitter 0
NOTE These instructions describe installation of the option for the "live"
and the "reference" monitor.
If only the "live" option is available, carry out the cabling and the
mechanical installation for the "live" monitor.

1. Remove the rear and side covers of the monitor trolley (already performed in
(Fig.2/p.6)and (Fig.3/p.7)).
2. Check if the space of 4 mounting holes (1/Fig.2/p.6)is available at the slot. If not, dis-
place the panel because the space is necessary for the video splitter.

3. Disconnect the power cable from the live monitor and reference monitor (if option is
available) and pull this cable back to the location shown in (2/Fig.2/p.6).
4. Use the supplied kit to run the power cables as shown in ((4/Fig.2/p.6)and
(Fig.3/p.7)).The angle plug must be inserted into the round cable duct inlet as shown
in (Fig.3/p.7).
5. Pull the angle cable plug of each distributor cable to location (3/Fig.2/p.6).
6. Connect the distributor cable (straight plug) to the disconnected power cable of the
monitors (2/Fig.2/p.6).
7. Connect the 2nd piece of the distributor cable (straight plug) to the corresponding moni-
tor as shown in (Fig.2/p.6).

8. Disconnect the monitor VGA cable from the live monitor and reference monitor (if option
is available). Pull the cable(s) back to the location shown in (2/Fig.2/p.6)

9. Use the supplied kit to pull the VGA cable(s) from location (3/Fig.2/p.6)to the moni-
tor(s) and connect it/them to the monitor(s). Run the cables as shown in (Fig.3/p.7).

10. Mount the video splitter for the live monitor on the mounting rack as shown in
(Fig.4/p.8).
If a video splitter for the reference monitor is available, mount it next to the video splitter
for the live monitor.

11. Switch the line switch of the video splitter on.

12. Connect "VGA IN", "VGA OUT" and "Power" to the video splitter according to the wiring
diagram (Fig.5/p.9).

13. Push the video splitter mount into the monitor trolley slot and screw it on via the
threaded plate (Fig.6/p.10).

14. Connect the external monitors to the corresponding "RGB OUT" connectors on the
video splitter.
