IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
• Never use while sleeping.
• Do not drop or insert any object into any opening or hole.
• Do not use outdoors or operate where aerosol (spray) products are being used or where
oxygen is being administered.
• This product is hot when in use. Do not let heated surfaces touch bare skin.
• Do not place the heated curler directly on any surface while it is hot or plugged in (use
the heel rest provided).
• Do not clean or store the curler while it is hot or still plugged in.
• This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). As a safely
feature, this plug will in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in
the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not
attempt to defeat this safety feature.
• Your curling iron will heat to a temperature designed for narmal hair. When curling
hair that is tinted, bleached, or damaged, the iron should be held in the hair for a shorter
length of time.
HOW TO USE
1. Preheat the curling iron by resting the curling iron ( use the heel rest) on a smooth
flat surface and plug into a 220-240volt AC outlet. When the red dot on the barrel turns
white, the iron is ready for use. ( About five minutes).
2. Hair should be clean and dry and free from all dirt, hair spray, etc. before using the
product. IF you normally set your hair with curlers, section the hair in same pattern.
Start by sectioning hair into strands of no more than 1 inch deep and 2 inches wide.
3. Keep your hair smooth by brushing or combing through the section while holding the
ends tout with on hand.
4. Place the ends of each hair section over the rod, with the clamp open, close the clamp,
making sure that the hair ends extend just beyond the clamp.
5. Grasp the safety tip with other hand.
6. Keep the section of hair taut, while you wind it around the heating rod by turning the
handle with one hand and safety tip with the other.
7. Wind the curl toward your scalp as far as you can go without touching the scalp with
the hot iron.
8. Hold the curl in place for up to 20 seconds for tight curls , less time for loose curls.
Unwind about half a turn, when ready to release the hair. For long hair unwind a little
further push the clamp release bar to open the clamp and withdraw the heating rod from
the center of the curl.
9. For bouncy, flip-up styles, the clamp should be over and the rod under the section of
hair.
