1 - CHOICE OF VACUUM UNIT
It is important to consider that the length of the pipe reduces the air flow and the recovery efficiency of
the pipe within the pipe network. Therefore, to compensate for this, it is necessary to choose a more
powerful vacuum unit than a standard system.
2 - MULTI SENSE AND MONO SENSE SYSTEM
The use of the Multi Sense counter-socket is intended for installations with several Sense socket points
or mixed installations, as a system is designed for maintaining the vacuum of the installation in the event
of the socket point being unused.
If, on the other hand, only one outlet is to be installed, it is possible to use the Mono Sense vacuum inlet,
a system that is simpler in its use.

4 - WARNINGS FOR INSTALLING THE SENSE COUNTER SOCKET
4.1 - INSTALLATION HEIGHT
If the counter socket is oriented downwards, with the inlet to connect to the pipe network downwards, it
is recommended not to install the counter socket at a height of less than 40 cm.
If the counter socket is oriented upwards, with the inlet to connect to the pipe network upwards, it is
recommended not to install the counter socket at a height of less than 90 cm.

4.2 - INSTALLATION ON PLASTERBOARD
Fasten the counter socket to the wall upright
Make sure it is aligned (figure 1) and has free space
behind the socket.
It is recommended to add a wall upright (figure 2)
on the other side of the counter socket to secure
it better.
Install the PVC pipe (figure 3). Glue the pipe to the
counter socket fitting, making sure that it fits tightly
inside the fitting.

5 - PIPE NETWORK INSTALLATION WARNINGS
The installation of the vacuum system with the retractable tube requires the use of a pipe network
and fittings specifically for this type of system.
The section of pipe network, within which the hose will run, must have a diameter of
2”/ 51mm and its length should be equal to the length of the retractable tube, plus 10/15cm of excess.

Art. 3051.8 Art. 3051.7 Art. 3051.6
90° 45° 22,5°
Only specific fittings (figure 1) for the Sense system can be used for the pipe network. All this is con-
tained in the Sense system installation kit Art. 7230.0 or sold separately.

Instruction manual
10 28/08/2023 Rev:1.0.1
Any lumps or excess glue could damage the hose covering, as it retracts into the pipe network.
To avoid this, ensure that the glue is applied to the male part of the fitting and never to the female part
(figure 2).
Be sure to remove all plastic burrs after cutting the PVC pipe, which should be done with the appropriate
pipe cutting tool. Check carefully that the pipes inside are smooth, round and intact.
2
When installing the Ø 51 mm pipe network collars (figure 3), ensure that the tubes are not crushed,
altering the sliding of the hose inside them.
3
Upon completion of the installation, it is recommended to carry out a vacuum test to ensure that the
system is watertight.

Avoid using two 90° bends one after the other (figure
4). Try to keep them as far apart as possible.
It is important to create a pipe network that allows the
hose to be placed on a single level (figure 5), avoiding
installation on 2 levels (figure 6) in order not to
have problems in its use.
The use of 90° bends reduces the pick-up speed of the retractable tube and increases its pull-out force
from the socket, therefore it is recommended not to use more than 3 90° bends per socket.

Before wall-mounting the socket, carry out the following steps::
Connect the two wires of the switch of the
lower block to the wires of the micro line
of the vacuum system and reposition the
lower block of the socket.
Remove the lower block
You may remove the cover if you
need to drill new holes for the pas-
sage of electrical wiring.
Feed the micro line cable of the vacuum
system through the pre-drilled holes in the
cover.
Before attaching the wall socket, once the cables have been connected it is advisable to check that
