2. Both tyres must be in contact with the ground at all times. Avoid obstacles and slippery surfaces (such as snow, ice,
oil, sand etc.), which could result in a loss of balance or traction and cause a fall. The Flowboard Air is intended for
indoors or use on smooth, flat surfaces. To prevent loss of traction, you must always be careful when driving and you
must identify and avoid slippery and wet surfaces, loose materials, slopes, tram tracks, potholes and other obstacles
(especially higher than 1 cm). The wheels must be able to grip the ground for you to stay upright.
3. Abrupt manoeuvres and driving over slippery surfaces, bumps, and loose objects and materials, as well as performing
jumps and stunts and risky behaviour in general, may cause it to lose traction and pose a risk to the operator and the
device and must be avoided therefore. The driving speed must always be adjusted to given conditions (e.g. light,
weather, other traffic participants, etc.).
4. Make sure to wear flat shoes (no high heels) when using the Flowboard Air. Ask a person to help you if you are not
an experienced user.
5. The Flowboard Air must not be used by small children. Parents shall judge if the children have the required
coordination, ability and judgement to use the Flowboard Air properly.
6. Do not exceed the maximum weight of 275 pounds (125 kilograms) –including backpacks and other items that
might be carried. Exceeding the weight limit could lead to injury of the driver and/or the Flowboard Air.
7. Never turn off the Flowboard Air while you are riding.
8. Do not modify the Flowboard Air. Modifications could interfere with operating and could result in serious injury
and/or damage. Modifications will void the warranty.

person at a time. Do not carry heavy or spacious objects with you when driving.
10. You must wear a complete protection equipment (helmet, kneepads, back protector, etc.) when driving the
Flowboard Air.
11. Hold the handle-bar tightly with both hands at any time when driving.
12. Always keep both your feet on the Flowboard Air while riding, unless you’re accelerating. Wait until you have come
to a complete standstill before you get off the Flowboard Air.
13. Check the brakes before every ride. Never drive with damaged brakes, but contact your official dealer. In order to
brake, you can either press the small plate on the left side under the handle or use your foot to press down the rear
mudguard. Applying both brakes at the same time is the quickest way to come to a standstill (emergency braking).
14 Do not use the Flowboard Air in temperatures below -5°C.
15. Driving in rainy and snowy weather is strictly forbidden. Also do not drive through puddles of water because the
water could damage the engine or the electricity.

3.4 Battery and charger
The engine of your Flowboard Air is powered using a lithium-ion battery. Fully charge the battery using the charger before
using the Flowboard Air for the first time. Always charge the battery in a dry and clean environment. Plug one end of the
charger into the Flowboard Air and the other end into the socket. Now you’ll see a red light which indicates that the battery
isn’t fully charged and that the battery is now charging. During the battery’s first charging cycle, this can take up to eight
hours. The charger will stop the charging process automatically once the battery has bee fully charged. This is indicated by a
green light. When the light changes from red to green, you can unplug the charger from the socket first and then from the
Flowboard Air.
Do not charge the Flowboard Air without supervision and remove the charger when the charging process is completed.
Never use any other charger than the original one you bought with the Flowboard Air.
Should you encounter any difficulties during the charging process, please contact your dealer.
If you do not use your Flowboard Air regularly, we recommend to recharge the battery monthly in order to ensure its
longevity. Before a long pause in usage we also recommend to charge the device.

4. Driving instructions
4.1 Operation
You can accelerate using the Flowboard Air like a conventional scooter by pushing pushing against the floor with your foot.
Alternatively, you can also accelerate by pressing respectively holding the small plate on the right side under the handle bar
(acceleration plate) with your right thumb. The more you press the plate down, the stronger you will accelerate.
Acceleration plate
In order to use the acceleration plate to increase your speed, you’ll first have to accelerate to walking pace by pushing off
the floor with your foot.
You can apply the brake by pressing respectively holding the small plate on the left side under the handle (braking plate)
with your left thumb. Shift your body weight slightly to the back to counterbalance the braking effect of the engine brake
and ensure save and controlled braking. Alternatively, you can also use your foot to press down the rear mudguard. For the
quickest results, you can use both braking mechanisms at the same time (emergency braking) by pressing down both the
braking plate and the rear mudguard. Avoid to use both the acceleration plate on the right side under the handle bar and
the braking plate on the left side under the handle bar at the same time.
