2.2 Risk of Injury
Whenever you drive the SO1 PRO, you risk injury from loss of control, collisions and falls. It is your responsibility to learn how to safely drive the SO1 PRO in order to reduce the risks of driving.
This manual is designed to help you learn safe driving techniques.
The SO1 PRO must not be used unless the operator has read through and understood the entire manual.
We recommend that you keep this manual in a safe place and read it carefully again after a long period of non-use to ensure the safest possible handling of the SO1 PRO.
2.3 Attention!
There are risks to driving every vehicle. This one is no exception.
Start in a safe location without traffic and have somebody helping you with your first steps and start slowly. If you carefully follow all the instructions and warnings in this manual, you should be
able to teach yourself to drive. Avoid using the SO1 PRO if you are feeling tired, sleepy or you have a medical condition that reduces your ability to drive.
Please ensure this manual is read and understood beforehand, and do pay extra attention when driving.
1. All users of the SO1 PRO must follow all traffic laws and regulations. Check whether you can use the SO1 PRO on public property before you drive it there. Especially keep track of
pedestrians, children, animals and other road users when you drive this device. Point out your presence when approaching a pedestrian or cyclist if you are not seen or heard. Cross
protected crossings on foot.
2. Both tires must be in contact with the ground at all times. Avoid obstacles and slippery surfaces (such as snow, ice, oil, sand etc.), which could result in a loss of balance or traction and
cause a fall. The SO1 PRO is intended for indoors or use on smooth, flat surfaces. To prevent loss of traction, you must always be careful when driving and you must identify and avoid
slippery and wet surfaces, loose materials, slopes, tram tracks, potholes and other obstacles (especially higher than 1 cm). The wheels must be able to grip the ground for you to stay
upright.
3. Abrupt maneuvers and driving over slippery surfaces, bumps, and loose objects and materials, as well as performing jumps and stunts and risky behavior in general, may cause it to lose
traction and pose a risk to the operator and the device and must be avoided therefore. The driving speed must always be adjusted to given conditions (e.g. light, weather, other traffic
participants, etc.).
4. Make sure to wear flat shoes (no high heels) when using the SO1 PRO. Ask a person to help you if you are not an experienced user.
5. The SO1 PRO should not be used by small children. It is at the discretion of the parent to determine whether your child has the necessary motor skills or strength and judgment to use
the SO1 PRO. In accordance with legal regulations, SO1 PRO may not be used by children under 14 years of age. These legal requirements are in accordance with German law. Check
the relevant local and national laws of your country and observe the minimum age for riding an electric scooter, which is regulated by law in each country.
CAUTION!
WARNING!

6. You should not exceed the maximum weight according to the technical specifications including items you carry with you (e.g. backpack) for the use of SO1 PRO. A higher load could
damage the SO1 PRO.
7. Never turn off the SO1 PRO while you are riding.
8. Do not modify the SO1 PRO. Modifications could interfere with operating and could result in serious injury and/or damage. Modifications will void the warranty.
9. The SO1 PRO is designed for the use of one person only at a time. It must never be used by more than one person at a time. Do not carry heavy or spacious objects with you when
driving.
10. You must wear a complete protection equipment (helmet, kneepads, back protector, etc.) when driving the SO1 PRO.
11. Hold the handle-bar tightly with both hands at any time when driving.
12. Always keep both your feet on the SO1 PRO while riding, unless you’re accelerating. Wait until you have come to a complete standstill before you get off the SO1 PRO.
13. Before every ride, check that the handlebars are correctly engaged and the brake function. Never ride if the brakes do not work correctly. In this case contact your SO1 PRO dealer
immediately. You can operate the brake by pulling the left brake lever on the handlebar. This operation operates the front disc brake and the electronic rear brake simultaneously. Be
careful, the brake can become hot when used. Do not touch the brake when in use.
14. Do not use the SO1 PRO in temperatures below -5°C. This can have a negative effect on the battery and the engine. There is also an increased risk of slipping at these temperatures due
to ice formation.
15. Driving in rainy and snowy weather is not recommended. You should also avoid driving through puddles of water because the water could damage the engine or the electricity. Note
the extended braking distance on wet surfaces.
16. Always keep the device away from humidity, during usage as well as storage (see section 5 “Maintenance, repairs and warranty”).
17. Check the battery level of the device before each journey. Never use the SO1 PRO when the battery level is low. If you need to turn off the SO1 PRO due to low battery power, do not
use it for long periods of time like a conventional scooter as this may damage the engine in the long run.
18. Never operate any SO1 PRO while under the influence of drugs, alcohol, strong medication or other substances that can influence your level of attention.
19. Remove all sharp edges resulting from use.
20. Plastic packaging should be kept away from children to prevent suffocation by external airway closure.

3.2 Montage
Assemble your SO1 PRO
Unfold scooter and lock in upright position
Press down on the rear fender, separate the folding hook and fender buckle, then lift the frontbar upright (as shown in the figure).
Once the scooter is locked in the upright position, verify by gently trying to fold.
Detach hook and remove plug inside frontbar
Use the Allen wrench to loosen the screws located at the hook and detach. Once you've removed the hook and screws, make sure to remove the
plug inside of the top of the frontbar.
Place console into frontbar and reattach
Place the console into the top of the frontbar. Make sure that the contact poles between the handlebar and the frontbar are well interlocked. Once
the console is attached, use the Allen wrench to attach the hook back to the frontbar using the two screws.

copyright by www.soflow.com 12
Hook in brake cable
After unfolding your SO1 PRO, you need to hook the brake cable for the rear disc brake to the hook and to the brake lever. Now route the brake cable along the handlebar through the guide to
the brake lever. Now tighten the brake lever and fix the end of the cable in the slot of the brake lever and push the cable forward into the lever. If the connection has been adjusted too tightly
and cannot slide to the front end of the brake lever, then the brake mechanism must be adjusted (See Brake Adjustment).
Adjusting the disc brake
If the brakes are too tight, use a 5mm Allen wrench to loosen the screw of the pressure plate by turning anticlockwise.
Shorten the length of the brake wire to loosen the brakes, then tighten the screw again. If the brakes are too loose,
loosen the screw and pull the brake wire to extend the wire, then tighten the screw again.
Note: You can find more instructions and tips and tricks on Youtube.com under SoFlow.
To pump up the tyres
If the tyres start to lose pressure or have too little air in them from the start, you should inflate them to 2.5 bar.

copyright by www.soflow.com 13
3.3 Mobile phone holder
Your SO1 PRO comes with a mobile phone holder which can be easily attached or detached. Simply wrap the strap around the handlebar, pull it through the buckle and make sure it is firmly
secured. You can pull around the mount to check if your mobile phone is firmly held in place. The stretchable silicon bands can hold all smartphones with a screen size from 4 to 6.2 inches.
3.4 Battery and charger
The range of the battery may differ from the specifications depending on the temperature, the condition of the track, the incline and the weight of the driver.
Charging the battery
Make sure that the charging connector and the charger are dry and that the SO1 PRO is switched off. Connect the charger cable to the scooter's charging connector and plug it into an electrical
outlet. The charging light on the charger should glow red. When the charging light changes from red to green, the battery is fully charged. Disconnect the charger from the power source and the
scooter.
The e-scooter should only be charged with the original charger. Ensure that the voltage supply is correct. Do not use the charger if the charger or power cable are damaged. Please contact the
service department. For optimum battery life, charge and store the e-scooter in a dry and clean environment, preferably room temperature. The charging time of the scooter is approximately 4-
6 hours. There will be negative effects on the battery life if the charger remains permanently connected to the scooter and the power source.
Battery handling
Do not cover the scooter or the charger during charging. Lithium batteries have different freezing points depending on their charge level. If a battery cell freezes, it is irreparably destroyed and
the entire battery must be replaced. As with conventional batteries, a lithium battery loses up to 40% of its capacity starting from approximately 0°C. At approximately 20°C and 100% charge, a
lithium battery loses approximately 30% of its capacity per month (poor storage conditions).
Correct handling of the battery
Never remove the battery from the scooter. Charge the battery for at least 1 hour every 2 months (even when not in use). Never heat the battery or expose it to open fire. Never dispose of the
battery cells together with general waste. Never bring battery contacts into contact with moisture. The ideal operating temperature of the battery is between 10°C and 30°C. Above as well as
below this temperature, the power output deteriorates, resulting in a reduced range and power output.
The life and performance of a battery depends on its age, care and how often it has been used. Compared to other battery models, lithium ion batteries have very low self-discharge and a very
low memory effect, but they need to be charged periodically. Even if you do not use your scooter, the battery must be charged for at least 1 hour every 2 months, otherwise it will lose capacity.
Regular charging will prevent the battery from total discharge. Please note that an excessively discharged battery is irreparably damaged and must be replaced for a fee, hence the battery should
never be completely discharged during operation.
3.5 Maintenance
Do not try to charge the SO1 PRO when the battery is already full. This could diminish the battery’s capacity in the long run.
WARNING!
WARNING!
