2 Product Installation
2.1 ardware Installation
Before setting up the 3G Hotspot, please follow these steps for right connection. In order
to ensure the Hotspot to pla better wireless performance, please put the Hotspot in the
central part of the network coverage area.
Step1: Insert the UIM card before power on.
Step2: Power to the 3G Hotspot. Power suppl : batter , PC, power adapter（Output
voltage 5V, output current more than 800MA）.
Introduction of the charging method:
(1) Turn off the power switch to charge: Charge the batter alone and the batter
power indicator light is on in purple. When full charged, batter indicator light will be
on in blue.
(2) Turn on the power switch to charge: Batter indicator light is alwa s on in purple
when charging. The voltage is occupied to charge the batter , and meanwhile,
another part of voltage is supplied to hotspot, so the charging time will be longer,
accordingl .
Tip：When not using the hotspot, remove the batteries to prevent power loss or reduce

batter life.
Step3: Power On.
Step4: Connect PC though WIFI.
Tip：Before connect the hotspot through WIFI, please make sure our PC have WIFI
function and WIFI status in “ON” condition.

3 Open Web Management
After make sure the wireless connection of the device, please refer to the following steps
to set up
Step1: Open Web browser, input “http://192.168.169.1” at Address bar, then press
“Enter”.
Step2: In the following pop-up window, both input “admin” at “User name” bar and
“Password” bar, then click “OK”, for enter to the main page of the administrant mode.
Step3: When ou enter the correct administrator user name and password, click “OK” to
enter the main page of the administrant mode.

Network information：Network signal, the current registering network, Hotspot name,
Connection status.
：Network signal ：Hotspot name
：The current registering network ：Disconnected
：Connected
Connection Status: Displa s the current network’s upload speed and download
speed, information of the current flux and total cumulative flux.
WIFI Management：
WIFI SSID：Displa s the current name of the hotspot.
If ou need to modif , please click button, and then click button,
the settings will be taken effect.
WIFI Security Button: This button means the network is unlock； This button
means the network is locked. Click the icon to set the status of the WIFI encr ption.
WIFI encryption settings：

：Status of the WIFI encr ption is without encr ption b
default. If ou need to encr ption, please click button and will change to lock，
enter the password, click button, the settings be taken effect. After setting
the wireless connection, will disconnected automaticall , need to re-connect.
Modify encryption password: When the Hotspot is encr pted state, click

button, enter the new password, and then click button.
WIFI decryption settings: When the Hotspot is encr pted, click the button
interface to directl decr pt.
Remark: WIFI default encr ption method is WPA-PSK, the number of password
request is 8-63 bits. If ou need to set other encr ption methods, Please click the
upper right corner of the “Settings” button, then click “wireless” – “Securit ” for
entering the corresponding interface settings.
User Management: User Management displa s user name and password when user
fill in, ou can manuall modif the login password.
Advanced Settings: If ou need set more function in detail, click the upper right
corner of the “Settings” button.

Generall , we pre-write most of the operator’s APN information to work automaticall .
However, sometimes, ou need to manuall input the operator’s APN information b
ourself b Internet-WAN-3G and press Manual APN as follows:
4 Restoring Factory Defaults
You can choose restore factor default for reconfigure the device if ou need set to factor
default or forget the changes of some parameters, two wa s for setting as follows:

You can use a bent paper clip (or similar) to press the reset button for more than 5
seconds.. The Network Mode Light blinks blue for about a second and then the router
reboots to defaults.
(2) Enter the WEB management b click “settings”, then click the drop-down menu
“Admin”, select “Settings” page, click “Load Default” button.
