1.1 FIELDS OF APPLICATION
The Roll Up 28 WT is a motor specially dedicated to interior applications.
The Roll Up 28 WT can motorize roller blinds, sheer blinds, cellular blinds
and pleated blinds.
The Roll Up 28 WT is a 24 V dc operated motor, powered by a power supply.
Warning : The Roll Up 28 WT cannot be used with sealed double glazing.

1.2 LIABILITY
Before installing and using the drive, please read operating and installation
guide carefully. In addition to following the instructions given in this guide,
the instructions detailed in the attached Safety instructions document must
also be observed.
The drive must be installed by a drive and home automation profes-
sional, according to instructions from Somfy and the regulations appli-
cable in the country in which it is commissioned.
It is prohibited to use the drive outside the elds of application described
above. Such use, and any failure to comply with the instructions given in this
guide and in the attached Safety instructions document, absolves Somfy of
any liability and invalidates the warranty.
The installer must inform its customers of the operating and maintenance
conditions for the drive and must provide them with the instructions for use
and maintenance, and the attached Safety instructions document, after
installing the drive. Any After-Sales Service operation on the drive must be
performed by a drive and home automation professional.

2. INSTALLATION
Instructions which must be followed by the drive and home automation
professional installing the Roll Up 28 WT drive.
Never drop, knock, drill or submerge the drive.
Install a separate control point for each drive.



2.1. INSTALLATION
2.1.1. Preparing the drive
Check that the inner diameter of the tube is 26,6 mm or greater.
1) Fit the accessories required to
integrate the drive in the roller tube:
• Either t the drive wheel aon the
drive.
• Fit the crown band the drive wheel
con the drive.
2) Measure the length (L) between
the inner edge of the drive head and
the rim of the drive wheel.
2.1.2. Tube preparation
1) Cut the roller tube to the required length, depending on the motorised
product.
2) Deburr the roller tube and remove the swarf.
3) For roller tubes which are smooth inside, cut a notch with the following
measurements: d: 4 mm e: 7 mm


2.1.3. Drive/tube assembly
1) Slide the drive into the roller tube.
For roller tubes which are smooth
inside, position the notch previously
cut on the boss on the crown.
2) Fix the tube to the motor with self-
tapping screws or steel pop rivets
depending on the dimension (L).
The screws or pop rivets must
only be attached to the drive
wheel and not to the drive.
2.1.4. Installing the drive/tube assembly
Install and x the drive/tube
assembly onto the end bracket (f)
and onto the drive bracket (g) :
2.2 WIRING
Cables which pass through a metal wall must be protected and
isolated using a sheath or sleeve.
Attach cables to prevent any contact with moving parts.
The cable for the Roll Up 28 WT cannot be removed. If it is damaged,
return the drive to the After-Sales department.


- Switch off the power supply.
- Connect the drive according to the information in the table below:
2.3. COMMISSIONING
2.3.1. Checking the direction of rotation
1) Switch the power back on.
2) Press the UP button on the
control point:
a) If the motorised product rises
(a), the direction of rotation is
correct: Move onto the section
entitled “Setting the end limits”.
b) If the motorised product
lowers (b), the direction of
rotation is incorrect: Move onto
the next step.
3) Switch off the power supply.
Reverse the 2 wires on the control
point.
4) Switch the power back on.
Press the UP button on the control
point to check the direction of
rotation.

2.3.3. Setting the end limits
The end limits can be set in any order.
Setting the upper end limit
1) Press the UP button on the control point
to raise the motorised product to the upper
end limit.
2) Press the STOP button on the control
point when the motorised product reaches
the desired upper end limit.
3) Slide the “switch” corresponding to the
upper end limit to record it.
Setting the lower end limit
1) Press the DOWN button on the control
point to lower the motorised product to the
lower end limit.
2) Press the STOP button on the control
point when the motorised product reaches
the desired lower end limit.
3) Slide the “switch” corresponding to the
lower end limit to record it.

2.4. TIPS AND RECOMMENDATIONS FOR INSTALLATION

1.1 TOEPASSINGSGEBIED
De Roll Up 28 WT is een motor die speciek bedoeld is voor
binnenshuistoepassingen.
De Roll Up 28 WT kan roljaloezieën, lamellenjaloezieën en plisségordijnen
motoriseren.
De Roll Up 28 WT is een 24 V-gelijkstroommotor die wordt gevoed door een
netvoeding.
Waarschuwing: De Roll Up 28 WT kan niet worden gebruikt met gesealde
dubbele beglazing.

1.2 AANSPRAKELIJKHEID
Lees voorafgaand aan het installeren en het gebruik van de motorisatie
aandachtig deze gids voor de installatie en het gebruik. Houd u altijd
aan de aanwijzingen die in deze handleiding staan. Houd u ook altijd
aan de gedetailleerde voorschriften die in het bijgevoegde document
Veiligheidsvoorschriften staan.
De motorisatie moet geïnstalleerd worden door een erkende installateur
van automatiseringssystemen in woningen, in overeenstemming met
de instructies van Somfy en met de in het land van gebruik geldende
wet- en regelgeving.
Ieder gebruik van de motorisatie buiten het hierboven beschreven
toepassingsgebied is verboden. Hierdoor en door het niet opvolgen van
de instructies die in deze handleiding en in het bijgevoegde document
Veiligheidsvoorschriften staan, vervalt de aansprakelijkheid en de garantie
van Somfy.
De installateur moet de klant informeren over de voorwaarden voor het gebruik
en het onderhoud van de motorisatie en moet hem/haar, na de installatie van
de motorisatie, de aanwijzingen voor het gebruik en het onderhoud, evenals
het bijgevoegde document Veiligheidsvoorschriften, overhandigen.
Servicewerkzaamheden aan de motorisatie mogen alleen uitgevoerd worden
door een erkende installateur van automatiseringssystemen in woningen.
Raadpleeg bij twijfel tijdens de installatie van de motorisatie of voor
aanvullende informatie uw Somfy-leverancier of ga naar de website www.

2. INSTALLATIE
Verplichte voorschriften voor de erkende installateur van
automatiseringssystemen in woningen die de installatie van de Roll Up 28
WT-motorisatie uitvoert.
Laat de motorisatie niet vallen, sla er niet tegen, boor er niet in en dompel
hem niet in een vloeistof.
Installeer voor elke motorisatie een apart bedieningspunt.



2.1. MONTAGE
2.1.1. Voorbereiden van de motorisatie
Zorg ervoor dat de binnendiameter van de buis groter is dan of gelijk is aan
26,6 mm.
1) Monteer de noodzakelijke accessoires voor het inbouwen van de motorisatie in
de oprolbuis:
• Ofwel alleen de meenemer aop de
motorisatie.
• Monteer de adapter ben de
meenemer cop de motorisatie.
2) Meet de lengte (L) tussen de
binnenrand van de kop van de
motorisatie en het uiteinde van de
meenemer.
2.1.2. Voorbereiden van de buis
1) Zaag de oprolbuis op de
gewenste lengte af, afhankelijk van
het te motoriseren systeem.
2) Verwijder de bramen en de splinters van de oprolbuis.
3) Bij van binnen gladde oprolbuizen zaagt u een inkeping met de volgende
afmetingen: d: 4 mm e: 7 mm


2.1.3. Assemblage motorisatie - buis
1) Schuif de motorisatie in de oprolbuis.
Bij van binnen gladde oprolbuizen
plaatst u de inkeping over de nok van
de adapter.
2) Bevestig de buis aan de motor met
behulp van parkerschroeven of met
stalen klinknagels afhankelijk van de
afmeting (L).
De schroeven of klinknagels
mogen niet aan de motorisatie,
maar uitsluitend aan de meene-
mer worden vastgezet.
2.1.4. Montage van het geheel buis - motorisatie
Monteer en bevestig het geheel
buis-motorisatie op de eindassteun
fen op de motorisatiesteun g:
2.2 AANSLUITING
Kabels die door een metalen schot lopen moeten beschermd en geïsoleerd
worden door een doorvoerrubber of -huls.
Maak kabels vast zodat zij niet in contact kunnen komen met bewegende delen.
De kabel van de Roll Up 28 WT kan niet verwijderd worden. Stuur de
motorisatie in geval van beschadiging van de kabel terug naar de aftersales.


- Schakel de netvoeding uit.
- Sluit de motorisatie aan volgens de tabel hieronder:
2.3. IN BEDRIJF STELLEN
2.3.1. Controle van de draairichting
1) Sluit de stroomtoevoer weer aan.
2) Druk op de Λ toets van het
bedieningspunt:
a) Als het gemotoriseerde
systeem omhoog gaat (a), is de
draairichting correct: Ga naar
de paragraaf “Afstellen van de
eindpunten".
b) Als het gemotoriseerde systeem
omlaag gaat (b), is de draairichting
niet correct: Ga verder met de
volgende stap.
3) Schakel de voeding uit.
Verwissel de 2 draden op het
bedieningspunt.
4) Sluit de voeding weer aan.
Druk op de toets Λ van het
bedieningspunt om de draairichting te
controleren.

2.3.3. Afstellen van de eindpunten
De eindpunten kunnen in willekeurige
volgorde afgesteld worden.
Afstellen van het bovenste eindpunt
1) Druk op de toets Λ van het
bedieningspunt om het gemotoriseerde
systeem in het bovenste eindpunt te
plaatsen.
2) Druk op de toets Stop van het
bedieningspunt als het gemotoriseerde
systeem het bovenste eindpunt heeft
bereikt.
3) Schuif de “schakelaar” in
overeenstemming met het bovenste
eindpunt om dit vast te leggen.
Afstellen van het onderste eindpunt
1) Druk op de toets V van het
bedieningspunt om het gemotoriseerde
systeem in het onderste eindpunt te
plaatsen.
2) Druk op de toets Stop van het
bedieningspunt als het gemotoriseerde
systeem het onderste eindpunt heeft
bereikt.
3) Schuif de “schakelaar” in
overeenstemming met het onderste
eindpunt om dit vast te leggen.

2.4. TIPS EN ADVIEZEN VOOR DE INSTALLATIE
2.4.1. Vragen over de Roll Up 28 WT?

De aansluiting is niet correct. Controleer de aansluiting en
wijzig deze indien nodig.
Het bedieningspunt is niet

De eindpunten zijn ingesteld op
dezelfde plaats Afstellen de eindpunten.
3. GEBRUIK EN ONDERHOUD
Deze motorisatie heeft geen onderhoud nodig
3.1. OP EN NEER TOETSEN
Door een korte druk op de toets Λ of
V gaat het gemotoriseerde systeem
respectievelijk omhoog of omlaag.
3.2. STOP functie
Het gemotoriseerde systeem is in
beweging.
- Druk kort op de STOP-toets: het
gemotoriseerde systeem stopt
automatisch.

alimentazione elettrica.
Attenzione: Il Roll Up 28 WT non può essere utilizzato con doppi vetri sigillati.
