This manual explains the overview of DVS-7200A and
options, and the system configuration examples.

This guide explains how to use the switcher system
using DVS-7200A to operate the processor.

1-1. BKDS-7200K1 Structure
The BKDS-7200K1 is the CPU upgrade board for the
Digital Video Switcher DVS-7200.
By replacing this board with the corresponding board of
the DVS-7200, you can adapt the DVS-7200 to the
machine that perform as well as the DVS-7200A.
The BKDS-7200K1 consists of the following component :
.CPU-264B board : Replaces the CPU-192A board.

Modification
2-1. Modification Procedure

To avoid shock hazards and/or damage to the board, be
sure to turn off the power switch of DVS-7200 before
performing the modification.
Perform the modification as the following procedures.
1. Install the CPU-264B board.
2. Perform the confirmation after modification.
2-2. Modification Method
1. Install the CPU-264B board
(1) Loosen the four screws on the front panel, and remove
the front panel.
(2) Remove the twelve screws, the two board retainer and
the one board holder.
(3) Replace the CPU-192A board with the CPU-264B
board.

2. Perform the confirmation after modification
(1) Conferm the secondary power supply voltage.
(2) Install the two board retainer and the one board holder
with the twelve screws.
(3) Attach the front panel in the reverse order of the steps
(1) and (2) of “1. Install the CPU-264B board”.
