2対応機器
本SxSメモリーカードには、プロフェッ
ショナルメディアステーションXDS-1000/
PD1000/PD2000（以降「XDSシリーズ機
器」）用のオプションキーが収録されていま
す。オプションキーをファームウェアバー
ジョン2.0以降のXDSシリーズ機器にインス
トールすることにより、XDSシリーズ機器
に内蔵されているオプション機能を有効に
することができます。
◆ 有効になるオプション機能については、XDS
シリーズ機器の取扱説明書をご覧ください。
◆ 本製品について詳しくは、ソニーの営業担当
者またはサービス担当者にお問い合わせくだ
さい。
ご注意
•本SxSメモリーカードは、オプションキーが保
存されている状態では、ファイルの書き込みや
読み出し、消去、初期化はできません。オプ
ションキーのインストール後は、通常のSxS メ
モリーカードとして使用できます。
•SxSメモリーカード上の製品名シールは、はが
すことができます。付属のシールをご使用にな
るときは、製品名シールをはがしてください。
•オプションキーが保存されているSxSメモリー
カードをXDS-1000/PD1000/PD2000以外の
XDCAM EXシリーズ機器に挿入すると、「メ
ディア（A）は使用できません／交換してくだ
さい」と表示されます。
•オプションキーが保存されているSxSメモリー
カードをコンピューターのメモリーカードス
ロットに挿入してもカードは使用できません。
•SxSメモリーカードへのアクセス中にカードを
抜くと、記録データが消滅したり破壊されるこ
とがあります。
•SxSメモリーカード内に、最新版のオペレー
ションマニュアルが収納されています。オペ
レーションマニュアルは、オプションキーのイ
ンストール後にアクセス可能となります。SxS
メモリーカードをフォーマットする前にコン
ピューターに転送してください。

機器のスロットAに挿入する。
ご注意
本SxSメモリーカードはスロットBでは使用
できません。
2メンテナンスメニューを表示し、メ
ンテナンスメニュー項目M2:
SERVICE SUPPORTから
M23:OPTION KEYを選択する。
メンテナンスメニューを表示する
には
基本操作画面またはビデオモニター画面
を表示し、SHIFTボタンとPAGE/HOME
ボタンを押したままMENUボタンを押し
ます。
3「INSTALL」を選択する。
インストールを中止するには
EXITファンクション（F6）ボタンを押し
ます。
4オプションキー「XDBK-105」を選
択し、SETファンクション（F5）ボ
タンを押す。
インストールを中止するには
RETURNボタンを押して手順3の画面に
戻り、
F6ファンクションボタンを押しま
す。
ファンクションボタンの設定によって次
のような動作が行われます。
F6ファンクションボタンに「EXIT」が
割り当てられている場合：メ
ニューが閉じられます。
F6ファンクションボタンに
「REBOOT」が割り当てられている
場合：XDSシリーズ機器が再起動
します。
5パスワード（4桁の数字）を入力す
る。

ご注意
ここで設定したパスワードは、オプション
キーを移動するときに必要です。忘れないよ
うに記録しておいてください。
6SETファンクション（F5）ボタンを
押す。
インストールが開始されます。
インストールが正常に終了すると、
XDS
シリーズ機器が自動的に再起動します。
インストールしたオプションキーは、再
起動後に有効になります。
オプションキーを他のXDSシリーズ機器に
移動することができます。
まず、下記の手順でオプションキーがイン
ストールされているXDSシリーズ機器から
キーを削除し、本SxSメモリーカードに移
動します。
次に、「オプションキーをインストールす
る」の手順に従って、別のXDSシリーズ機
器にオプションキーをインストールします。
ご注意
オプションキーは必ず、本SxSメモリーカードに移
動してください。他のSxSメモリーカードに移動し
た場合の動作は保証いたしません。

ご注意
パスワードを忘れてしまった場合は、パス
ワードのリセットが必要になります。詳しく
は、ソニーのサービス担当者にお問い合わせ
ください。
6確認のメッセージが表示されたら、
SETファンクション（F5）ボタンを
押す。中止するときは、RETURN
ファンクション（F1）ボタンを押
す。
移動が開始されます。
オプションキーの移動が正常に終了する
と、
XDSシリーズ機器が自動的に再起動
します。

6インストール済みのオプションキーを確認する
XDSシリーズ機器にインストールされてい
るオプションキーを確認することができま
す。
1メンテナンスメニューを表示し、メン
テナンスメニュー項目M2: SERVICE
SUPPORTからM23:OPTION KEYを
選択する。（「オプションキーをインス
トールする」の手順2をご覧ください）
2「STATUS」を選択する。
オプションキーの名前（XDBK-105）と
状態（ena）が表示されます。
オプションキーが何もインストールされ
ていないときは、次の画面が表示されま
す。

ピューターに転送します。既にお持ちのオ
ペレーションマニュアルの最新版をコン
ピューターに転送してください。
ご注意
•オペレーションマニュアルの転送は、オプショ
ンキーをインストールした後に行ってくださ
い。
•SxSメモリーカードを初期化するとメモリー
カード内のオペレーションマニュアルを参照で
きません。初期化する前に，必ず最新版のオペ
レーションマニュアルをコンピューターに転送
してください。

FTP接続する。

Before operating the unit, please read this manual
thoroughly and retain it for future reference.
This SxS Memory Card includes an option key
for the XDS-1000/PD1000/PD2000 Professional
Media Station (hereinafter “XDS”). Installing the
key on an XDS with firmware of V2.0 or higher
enables use of optional functions built into the
XDS.
For details on the optional functions, refer to the
Operation Manual supplied with the XDS.
For more information on this product, contact your
Sony dealer or Sony service representative.
Notes
• This SxS memory card is protected against writing,
loading, or deleting of files, and formatting when the
option key is stored in the card. The card can be used
as a normal SxS memory card once the option key has
been installed on the XDS.
• The product name label on the SxS memory card can
be removed. To use a label supplied with the product,
peel off the product name label.
• If you insert an SxS memory card with the option key
stored into any XDCAM EX-series product other than
an XDS-1000/PD1000/PD2000, a message “Unknown
Media (A) / Please Change” will be displayed.
• If you insert an SxS memory card with the option key
stored into a computer, the card cannot be accepted.
• Recorded data may be lost or corrupted if an SxS
memory card is removed while it is being accessed.
• The latest revision of the Operation Manual is stored
on this SxS memory card. The Operation Manual can
be accessed after installing the option key. Transfer the
Operation Manual to your computer before formatting
the SxS memory card.
For details on normal usage of an SxS memory card,
refer to “Handling SxS Memory Cards” in the
Operation Manual supplied with the XDS.

1Insert this SxS memory card into card
slot A on the XDS.
Note
The card slot B on the XDS does not accept this SxS
memory card.
2Display the maintenance menu, and
select maintenance menu item
M23:OPTION KEY under M2:
SERVICE SUPPORT.
To display the maintenance menu
Display the basic operation screen or the
video monitor screen, and press the MENU
button while holding down the SHIFT button
and the PAGE/HOME button.
3Select “INSTALL.”
To cancel the installation
Press the EXIT function button (F6).
4Select the option key “XDBK-105” to be
installed and press the SET function
button (F5).
To cancel the installation
Press the RETURN button to display the
screen shown in step 3, and then press the F6
function button.
You can abort the menu operation as follows.
When “EXIT” is assigned to the F6
function button: The menu is closed.
When “REBOOT” is assigned to the F6
function button: The XDS is restarted.
5Enter a password (desired 4-digit
number).

Note
You need the designated password when you move
the option key. Record the password as a reminder.
6Press the SET function button (F5).
Installation begins.
When installation of the option key ends
successfully, the XDS automatically enters
the standby state and restarts.
After the XDS is restarted, the installed
option key becomes valid.
You can move the option key from one XDS unit
to another.
First remove the option key from the XDS on
which the option key is currently installed to this
SxS memory card in the following procedures:
Next, carry out the procedure described in
“Installing the Option Key” to install the option
key on another XDS unit.
Note
Be sure to move the option key to this SxS memory card.
The operation of the option key is not guaranteed if it has
been moved to an optional card.
1Insert this SxS memory card into card
slot A on the XDS.
Note
The card slot B on the XDS does not accept this SxS
memory card.

removed and press the SET function
button (F5).
To cancel the removal
Press the RETURN button to display the
screen shown in step 3, and then press the F6
function button.

function button: The XDS is restarted.
5Enter the 4-digit number set as a
password for installing the option key
and press the SET function button (F5).
Note
If you forget the password, you are required to reset
the password. Contact your Sony service
representative.
6When the message asking you whether
to execute removing appears, press the
SET function button (F5). If you cancel
the removal, press the RETURN
function button (F1) instead.
Removal begins.
When removing of the option key is
complete, the XDS automatically enters the
standby state and restarts.

You can check the option key installed in the
XDS.

2Select “STATUS.”
The option key name (“XDBK-105”) and its
status (“ena”) are displayed.
If no option key is installed, the following
screen appears.

Transferring the Latest Operation Manual 13
This SxS memory card contains on it the latest
revision of the operation manual, which can be
transferred to your computer. If you already have
a copy of the operation manual, check that you
have the latest revision, and transfer the operation
manual if necessary.
Notes
• Transfer the operation manual after the option key is
installed.
• Formatting (initializing) an SxS memory card will
remove the operation manual. Always transfer the
operation manual to your computer before formatting
the memory card.
1Connect your computer and an XDS-
series device via FTP connection.
For details about FTP connections, refer to the
Operation Manual for the XDS-series device.
2Insert the SxS memory card into the
memory card slot on the XDS-series
device.
3Transfer the latest operation manual,
stored under the /MEMORY-A (or -B)
directory, for your language to your
computer.
For details about file operations using FTP,
refer to the Operation Manual for the XDS-
series device.

Cette carte mémoire SxS comprend une clé
option pour la station Professional Media XDS-
1000/PD1000/PD2000 (appelée ici « XDS »).

microprogramme V2.0 ou supérieur vous permet

Remarques
• La carte mémoire SxS est protégée contre l’écriture, le
transfert ou la suppression de fichiers ainsi que le
formatage lorsque la clé option est enregistrée dans la
carte. La carte peut être utilisée comme carte mémoire
SxS normale une fois la clé option installée dans la
XDS.
• L’étiquette du nom du produit sur la carte mémoire
SxS peut être retirée. Pour utiliser une étiquette avec le
produit, décollez celle du nom du produit.
• Si vous insérez une carte mémoire SxS avec la clé
option enregistrée dans le produit de la série XDCAM
EX au lieu de la XDS-1000/PD1000/PD2000, un
message « Unknown Media (A) / Please Change »

2Affichez le menu maintenance et

Pour afficher le menu maintenance
Affichez l’écran d’opération de base sur
l’écran du moniteur vidéo et appuyez sur la
touche MENU tout en maintenant la touche
SHIFT et la touche PAGE/HOME appuyées.
3Sélectionnez « INSTALL ».
Pour annuler l’installation
Appuyez sur la touche de fonction EXIT
(F6).
4Sélectionnez la touche option « XDBK-
105 » à installer et appuyez sur la
touche de fonction SET (F5).
Pour annuler l’installation
Appuyez sur la touche RETURN pour
afficher l’écran qui apparaît à l’étape 3, puis
appuyez sur la touche de fonction F6.
Vous pouvez abandonner l’opération de
menu comme suit.

Remarque
Vous aurez besoin de ce mot de passe attribué pour
déplacer la clé option. Enregistrez le mot de passe
pour s’en rappeler.
6Appuyez sur la touche de fonction SET
(F5).
L’installation commence.
Lorsque l’installation de la clé option se
termine avec succès, la XDS se met
automatiquement en attente et redémarre.
Une fois la XDS redémarrée, la clé option
installée devient valide.
Vous pouvez déplacer la clé option d’une XDS à
une autre.
Déplacez tout d’abord la clé option de la XDS
dans laquelle la clé option est actuellement
installée dans cette carte mémoire SxS selon la
procédure suivante.
Suivez, ensuite, la procédure décrite dans
« Installation de la clé option » pour installer la
clé option sur une autre XDS.
Remarque
Déplacez la clé option dans cette carte mémoire SxS. Le
fonctionnement de la clé option n’est pas garanti si celle-
ci a été déplacée dans une carte optionnelle.
1Insérez cette carte mémoire SxS dans le
logement à carte A du XDS.
Remarque
Le logement à carte B du XDS n’accepte pas cette
carte mémoire SxS.
2Affichez le menu maintenance et
sélectionnez l’article de menu

Si vous oubliez le mot de passe, vous devez le
réinitialiser. Contactez votre revendeur Sony.
6Lorsque le message vous demandant de
confirmer l’exécution du retrait
s’affiche, appuyez sur la touche de
fonction SET (F5). Si vous supprimez le
retrait, appuyez plutôt sur la touche de
fonction RETURN (F1).
Le retrait commence.
Lorsque le retrait de la clé option est terminé,
la XDS se met automatiquement en attente et
redémarre.

la XDS.

Le nom de la touche option (« XDBK-105 »)

Cette carte mémoire SxS contient la dernière
révision du manuel d’utilisation, qui peut être
transférée dans votre ordinateur. Si vous avez
déjà une copie du manuel d’utilisation, vérifiez
que c’est la dernière et transférez-la dans votre
ordinateur si nécessaire.
Remarques
• Transférez le manuel d’utilisation une fois la clé option
installée.
• Le formatage (initialisation) d’une carte mémoire SxS,
supprime le manuel d’utilisation. Transférez toujours
le manuel d’utilisation dans votre ordinateur avant de
formater la carte mémoire.

périphérique de la série XDS via la
connexion FTP.

2Insérez la carte mémoire SxS dans le

Hinweise
• Diese SxS-Speicherkarte ist vor Beschreiben, Laden
oder Löschen von Dateien sowie vor Formatieren
geschützt, wenn der Optionsschlüssel auf der Karte
gespeichert ist. Sobald der Schlüssel auf der XDS
installiert ist, kann die Karte als normale SxS-
Speicherkarte genutzt werden.
• Der Produktnamenaufkleber auf der SxS-
Speicherkarte kann entfernt werden. Um einen zum
Produkt mitgeliefertes Etikett zu verwenden, ziehen
Sie den Produktnamenaufkleber ab.
• Wenn Sie eine SxS-Speicherkarte mit darauf
gespeichertem Optionsschlüssel in ein anderes Gerät
der XDCAM EX-Serie als eine XDS-1000/PD1000/
PD2000 einlegen, wird die Meldung „Unknown Media
(A) / Please Change“ angezeigt.
• Wenn Sie eine SxS-Speicherkarte mit darauf
gespeichertem Optionsschlüssel in einen Computer
einlegen, wird die Karte nicht angenommen.
• Falls eine SxS-Speicherkarte während des Zugriffs
entfernt wird, können aufgezeichnete Daten verloren
gehen oder beschädigt werden.
• Die neueste Version der Bedienungsanleitung ist auf
dieser SxS-Speicherkarte gespeichert. Auf die
Bedienungsanleitung kann zugegriffen werden,
nachdem der Optionsschlüssel installiert worden ist.
Übertragen Sie die Bedienungsanleitung auf Ihren
Computer, bevor Sie die SxS-Speicherkarte
formatieren.
