Release the Tension in the Chair
1. Place the chair on its back.
2. Remove two (2) screws
holding the plate in place.
3. Remove bolt with washer from
chair frame (3a). Remove other
bolt with washer from chair frame
(3b).

4. Place the chair onto the floor
as shown.
5. Remove the two (2) screws
holding the plate in place.
6. Remove the foam filler (6a).
Remove bolt with washer from
chair frame (6b). Remove other
bolt with washer from chair frame
(6c).
7. Place chair upright.

3. When installing the new back fabric, there will be
tension from the two (2) back rods. This is normal.
Secure one end of back fabric to back rod (3a). Pull
on the other end of the back fabric, while pushing
inward on the other rod (3b). Place back fabric onto
seat rod.
Back Fabric Replacement
1. Place chair upright. Slide seat frames
toward center of chair. A rubber mallet
can be used for this step.
2. Using two (2) hands, gently pull
upward on the back fabric to remove.

4. Using two (2) hands, gently slide back fabric
downward.
If you have completed the replacements in this
chair, go to 'Add the Tension into the Chair'.

Seat Fabric Replacement
1. Using two (2) hands, gently pull upward and
forward on the seat fabric (1a). Continue to push
seat fabric rearward (1b) and eventually remove
seat fabric by pulling underneath seat frame (1c).

2. When installing the new seat fabric, there will be tension
from the two (2) seat rods. This is normal. Secure one end
of seat fabric to seat rod (2a). Pull on the other end of the
seat fabric, while pushing inward on the other seat rod (2b).
Pull seat cover forward as shown (2c and 2d). Pull front of
seat cushion downward (2e).
If you have completed the replacements in this chair, go to
'Add the Tension into the Chair'.

Seat/Back Frame Assembly
Replacement for Sled Base
or 4-Leg Base
1. The back fabric and seat fabric must
be removed in order to replace the frame.
To remove the back fabric perform step
2 on page 4.
To remove the seat fabric perform step 1
on page 5.
2. Turn the seat/back frame assembly
90 degrees counterclockwise (2a) and pull
the seat/back frame assembly forward to
remove (2b). Repeat for the other
seat/back frame assembly.
3. To reassemble chair, reverse steps 2a
and 2b.
4. To install the back fabric perform
steps 3 and 4 on page 4.
To install the seat fabric perform step 2
on page 6.
Go to 'Add the Tension into the Chair'.

Add the Tension into the Chair
1. Place the chair on its back as shown.
2. Insert the bolt with a washer into the right hand side of
the chair frame (2a). Install the bolt at least 1/2 way in (2b).
3. Place the chair onto the floor as shown.
4. Insert the bolt with a washer into the right hand side of
the chair frame (4a). Install the bolt at least 1/2 way in (4b).

5. Place the chair on its back as shown.
6. Insert the bolt with a washer into the left hand side of the
chair frame until you have tightened the bolt completely. Now
tighten the bolt on the right hand side completely.
7. Place the chair onto the floor as shown.
8. Insert the bolt with a washer into the left hand side of the
chair frame (8a) until you have tightened the bolt completely.
Now tighten the bolt on the right hand side completely. Install
the foam filler (8b).

9. Flip the seat fabric with the plate over and align the
holes in the plate with the holes in the chair frame.
10. Insert two (2) screws through the holes in the plate
and into the chair frame.
11. Place the chair on its back as shown.
12. Place the back fabric with the plate onto the chair frame and
align the holes in the plate with the holes in the chair frame.
13. Insert two (2) screws through the holes in the plate and into
the chair frame.

Alivie la tensión de la silla
1. Coloque la silla apoyada sobre su respaldo.
2. Retire los dos (2) tornillos que sostienen la
placa en su sitio.
3. Retire el perno con arandela del armazón
de la silla (3a). Retire el otro perno con
arandela del armazón de la silla (3b).

4. Coloque la silla sobre el piso como se
muestra.
5. Retire los dos (2) tornillos que sostienen la
placa en su sitio.
6. Retire el relleno de espuma (6a). Retire el
perno con arandela del armazón de la silla
(6b). Retire el otro perno con la arandela del
armazón de la silla.
7. Coloque la silla en posición vertical.

3. Cuando instale el nuevo forro del respaldo,
habrá tensión desde las dos barras del respaldo.
Esto es normal. Sujete un extremo del forro del
respaldo a la barra del respaldo (3a). Hale del otro
extremo del forro del respaldo, mientras lo empuja
insertándolo en la otra barra (3b). Coloque el forro
del respaldo en la barra del asiento.
Reemplazo del forro del respaldo
1. Coloque la silla en posición vertical. Deslice
los armazones del asiento hacia el centro de la
silla. Un mazo de goma puede usarse en este
paso.
2. Con las dos (2) manos, hale con cuidado
hacia arriba el forro del respaldo para retirarlo.

Reemplazo del forro del asiento
1. Con las dos (2) manos, hale con cuidado hacia arriba y
hacia delante el forro del asiento (1a). Continúe empujando
el forro del asiento hacia atrás (1b) y finalmente retire el forro
del asiento halándolo por debajo del armazón del asiento (1c).

2. Cuando instale el nuevo forro del asiento, habrá tensión
desde las dos barras del asiento. Esto es normal. Sujete un
extremo del forro del asiento a la barra del asiento (2a) . Hale
del otro extremo del forro del asiento, mientras lo inserta en
la otra barra (2b). Hale el forro del asiento hacia delante
como se muestra en (2c y 2d). Hale la parte delantera del
cojín del asiento hacia abajo (2e).
Si ha completado los reemplazos en esta silla, vaya a
“añada tensión a la silla”.

Reemplazo del ensamble armazón
del asiento/respaldo para base
tipo trineo o base de 4 patas
1. El forro del respaldo y del asiento deben
retirarse con el fin de reemplazar el armazón.
Para retirar el forro del respaldo, ejecute el paso 2
de la página 4.
Para retirar el forro del asiento, ejecute el paso 1
de la página 5.
2. Gire el ensamble armazón del asiento/respaldo
90° en dirección contraria a las manecillas del reloj
(2a) y hale el ensamble armazón del
asiento/respaldo hacia delante para retirarlo (2b).
Repita igual para el otro ensamble armazón del
asiento/respaldo.
3. Para volver a ensamblar la silla, invierta los
pasos 2a y 2b.
4. Para instalar el forro del respaldo, efectúe los
pasos 3 y 4 de la página 4.
Para instalar el forro del asiento, efectúe el paso 2
de la página 6.
Vaya a “añada tensión a la silla”.

Añada tensión a la silla
1. Coloque la silla sobre su respaldo como se muestra.
2. Inserte el perno con arandela en el lado derecho del
armazón de la silla (2a). Coloque el perno insertándolo al
menos la mitad de su recorrido (2b).
3. Coloque la silla sobre el piso como se muestra.
4. Inserte el perno con una arandela en el lado derecho
del armazón de la silla (4a). Coloque el perno insertándolo
al menos la mitad de su recorrido (4b).

5. Coloque la silla sobre su respaldo como se muestra.
6. Inserte el perno con arandela en el lado izquierdo del
armazón de la silla hasta que haya apretado completamente
al perno. Ahora apriete completamente el perno del lado
derecho.
7. Coloque la silla sobre el piso como se muestra.
8. Inserte el perno con una arandela en el lado izquierdo del
armazón de la silla (8a) hasta que haya apretado completamente
al perno. Ahora apriete completamente el perno del lado
derecho. Instale el relleno de espuma (8b).

9. Dé la vuelta al forro del asiento con la placa y alinee
los orificios de la placa con los orificios del armazón de la
silla.
10. Inserte dos (2) tornillos atravesando los orificios de
la placa e insertándolos en la armazón de la silla.
11. Coloque la silla sobre su respaldo como se muestra.
12. Coloque el forro del respaldo con la placa sobre el armazón
de la silla y alinee los orificios de la placa con los orificios del
armazón de la silla.
13. Inserte dos (2) tornillos atravesando los orificios de la placa e
insertándolos en la armazón de la silla.
