1. Insert (3) connecting bolts into the holes
on the modesty panel as shown.
2. Align modesty panel with end panel (2a)
and insert the connecting bolts into the clips
(2b) With connecting bolt inserted into clip
push modesty panel downward (2c) until
connecting bolt is secured (2d).

3. Insert (5) cam locks into the holes on
the modesty panel and end panel (3a),
making sure the arrow on the cam lock is
pointed toward the connecting bolt (3b).
4. Turn worksurface over onto carpet or
other clean, soft material.
5. Locate brackets on underside as
shown (5a). Drill (5) pilot holes (5b).
Secure brackets to return by attaching
with (5) screws (5c).

6. Insert (5) connecting bolts into
the holes on underside of return top.
7. Lower modesty/end panel assembly
onto top so that bolts are inserted in holes.
8. Secure all hardware with a half turn
of cams.

9. Align panel to panel bracket to
end panel of adjoining unit and
secure using (1) screw.

10. Align modesty panel on return with panel
to panel bracket (10a) and slide modesty panel
into bracket (10b).
11. Locate brackets on underside on return
and drill (5) pilot holes (11a). Secure
brackets to adjoing unit by attaching
with five (5) screws (11b).
12. Level unit.

INSTALL A MODESTY PANEL TO A PEDESTAL
1
1. Remove drawers (if any) from pedestal.
2. Drill (2) holes through pedestal back
panel in the locations shown.
3. Install modesty panel onto bottom side
of worksurface.
A) Install (3) connecting bolts into holes in
the worksurface.
B) Lower modesty panel into position.
C) Insert (3) cam locks and secure with a
half turn.

of pedestal as shown,
then drill through back
panel of pedestal.

push lever down on one
side, and up on the other.

4. Position pedestal onto worksurface so
that it is flush to the modesty panel and
edge of worksurface.
Refer to assembly direction 939500237 for
more detailed information if required.
5. Secure pedestal to worksurface.
6. Secure modesty panel to pedestal
through holes in back panel.
7. Carefully turn assembly over and
reinstall drawers.

1. Route wires as needed.
2. Install goose-neck catch in the
location shown.
3. (a) Install a modesty panel bracket on
the bottom of the pedestal, and (b) on the
end panel.
4. Place shoulder screws into brackets
on unit and pivot modesty panel up.
5. Modesty panel will seat into the catch
when it's in the upright position.

Locate (2) pilot holes on pedestal
then install bracket using 8-15 x
13/32" truss head screws.
Note: use the 1-1/4" bracket
for a lateral file pedestal.

Bracket used on end panel is about 3/8" (9.5 mm) deep.
Bracket for 15" and 18" peds is about 1" (25 mm) deep.
Bracket for lateral file peds is about 1-1/4" (32 mm) deep.
