Modular credenza components are
shipped separately for field assembly
and require the following:
- Worksurface that spans the
collective length of the selected
storage components
- Storage components
- Base
Modular credenzas
can also be built with knee-
spaces. Use an end panel
when a kneespace is
desired at the end of the
credenza.
Modesty panels can
finish the open area of a
kneespace.
295⁄8" modesty panel
should be used to span
between two storage
components.
11" support panel should be
used with a modesty panel to
support a kneespace 48" or greater.
Use straight end
panels to create a knee-
space with a modesty
panel.
Use L-end panels to
create a kneespace
without modesty panel.
Use center support
panel together with a mod-
esty panel for kneespaces
48" or greater.
Use T-support panel for
kneespaces 48" or greater
without amodesty panel.

TIP: Use a shim to elevate one edge
of the cabinet. This will allow a finger
hold when assembly is ready to
turn upright.

INSTALL BASE AND TOP
1. Remove drawers or adjustable shelves
if there are any.
2. Carefully turn cabinets upside down
onto a clean, soft surface.
3. Position base so that it overhangs cabinets
equally on both ends and is flush in the back.
4. Using holes in stretchers of base as a
guide, drill 1/8” pilot holes, 1/2” deep.
5. Secure base to bookcase with screws
provided.
6. Carefully turn assembly over.

7. Position top so that it overhangs cabinets
equally on both ends and is flush in the back.
8. Using holes in stretchers of cabinets as
a guide, drill 1/8” pilot holes, 1/2” deep into
underside of top.
9. Secure top to cabinets with the screws
provided.
10. Adjust leveling glides if needed.
11. Reinstall adjustable shelves or drawers
if applicable.

INSTALL END PANEL AND MODESTY PANEL
1. Refer to the dimensions shown to
predrill holes in free end panel and in
end panel of pedestal.
2. Install (3) kd studs in each end panel.

3. Position modesty panel slightly above
end panels, then lower so that kd studs
are engaged into kd clips.
4. Install top onto assembly so that it overhangs
equally on each end and is flush in the back.
Refer to page 3 for more details.
5. Check to see that unit is level. If not, remove
drawers and adjust leveling glides as neccessary.
