1. Remove cartoning/packaging
materials.
NOTE: The ‘cutout’ version worksurface
will have a felt liner for the connect zone
trough.
NOTE: There is one (1) package inside
the understructure frame.

Attaching Legs
1. NOTE: It's easier to pre-set
the heights of the legs before
attaching them to the frame
(see next page).
2. Post legs attach in the "A"
position.
3. "L" legs attach in the 24" or
30" position depending on the
depth of the worksurface being
applied.
4. When attaching legs, note
the boss features must match
that of the end support.
5. Tighten log bolt securely
using 3/16" hex drive.
6. Adjust glides (see next
page) to insure the desk is
level.

Adjusting Legs
1. Loosen set screw using a 3/32" hex drive,
raise or lower to desired height and tighten screw.
NOTE: Ensure set screw is properly seated in
detent of desired height.
2. Legs are factory pre-set to the 28-1/2" height
once fully assembled (5 detents showing).
3. Align ribs on glide stem with grooves inside leg
before inserting glide into leg.

Adjusting Height of
Tether Brackets
1. Loosen set screws using a
3/32" Allen/hex drive. Loosen
until upper "L" bracket can slide
freely, but DO NOT remove
screws.
2. Position upper "L" bracket
at desired height, and tighten
screws. When the next-up holes
are tangent with the top surface
of the bracket, the receiver
holes for the screws are aligned
with the screws.
TIP: Do not over-tighten set
screws! The aluminum threads
of the bracket may become
stripped. Tighten set screws
with not more than 7-1/2 in-lb
of torque.

Assembling Tether
Brackets to Beam or
Storage Rail
1. Beams and storage rails have
holes on their undersides, for discrete
positioning along their lengths. These
holes are located 1-1/2" apart along
the lengths of the beam and storage
rail.
2. Installing tether brackets:
a) Hook the tether bracket over
the top lip of the beam or
storage rail.
b) Swing the bottom ot the
tether in, and push on the lower
part of the bracket until the
spring pin snaps over the
bottom edge of the beam or
storage rail.
c) Slide the tether bracket
left or right until the spring pin
pops into the appropriate
positioning hole.
3. Removing tether brackets:
a) With a finger or screwdriver tip,
depress either side of the
spring pin lever at the bottom
rear of the bracket to disengage
the spring pin.
b) Rotate bottom of bracket out,
and remove.
NOTE: If tether is in lowest 2
positions, tether will stick down
below the reveal and trap skin on.
Mount skin first, then lower tether
brackets.

Locating Tether Brackets
to the Beam
(Perpendicular Application)
1. Locate the desired position along the beam
for the back edge of the desk.
2. First tether should be 2" from the position to
the edge of the tether. Attach tether to beam.
3. Next tether should be 16-1/2" edge-to-edge
from the first tether. Attach the 2nd tether.

Locating Tether
Brackets
to the Beam
(Parallel Application)
1. Locate the desired
position along the beam for
the edge of the desk.
2. First tether should be 2"
from that position to the
edge of the tether. Attach
tether to beam.
3. Next tether should be 6"
less than the overall width of a
desk (if there is only one (1)
desk in-line).
4. If setting up a benching
application (multiple parallel
mounted desks in a row) and
using a shared thether
bracket, then the next tether
bracket would be 3" less
than the overall width of the
desk.

Attaching Desk to
Tether Brackets
1. Place the understructure
onto the tether brackets.
2. Align mounting holes of
end support with holes in
tethers.
3. Connect together using
two (2) 3/8-16 x 3/4" bolts.
4. Tighten securely using a
3/16" hex drive.

NOTE: Make sure to install the felt pad with the perferations in the felt
liner aligned /overlapping with the cutouts in the connect zone power
trough before installing any power &/or data into the desk understructure.

Installing Worksurface
to Understructure
1. Place the six (6) spacers into
the holes on the understructure as
shown.
2. Place the worksurface onto the
understructure and align with the
pilot holes that are on the bottom of
the worksurface.
3. Install six (6) #10-10 x 1” truss
head wood screws as shown.

assembly and remove upper ‘L’ bracket.
3. Attach the lower tether assemblies to
storage.
•1st bottom tether assembly is
2" from back edge of desk.
•2nd bottom tether assembly is
16-1/2" edge to edge of 1st
bottom tether assembly.
4. Attach upper ‘L’ tether brackets to
understructure.
•Understructure "A" and "C" to
‘L’ tether bracket "S" (STORAGE).
5. If you are installing a ‘cutout’ version
worksurface, you will need to install the felt
liner into the connect zone trough.
6. Install power and data components.
7. Install worksurface onto understructure.
8. Lower worksurface assembly into tether
brackets on storage unit.
9. Lower to proper height and tighten set
screws on tether bracket.
10. Level the unit.
11. Adjust front bracket
to contact the top.

Perpendicular to Beam
1. Attach legs to understructure
•"L" leg uses 24" or 30" depending on worksurface depth.
•Attach shared plate to top of post leg.
NOTE: You need to lower leg height by 1 detent (1/2").
•Attach shared support plate "G" to understructure "A".
2. Attach tethers to beam or storage
•Sub-assemble shared plate to tether "B".
•Lower tether 1 detent (1/2") to account for plate
thickness.
•Install shared tether centerline to back edge of desk.
•2nd and 3rd tethers 21" edge to edge of shared tether.
3. Attach understructure onto tethers
•Understructure "A" to shared support plate "G" (GAP).
•Understructure "D" to tether "B" (BEAM).
4. Attach 2nd understructure onto tethers:
•Understructure "A" to shared support plate "G" (both ends).
•Understructure "D" to tether "B".
5. Level both units.
6. If you are installing a ‘cutout’ version worksurface, you will
need to install the felt liner into the connect zone trough.
7. Install power and data components.
8. Install worksurfaces and level.

1. Attach legs to understructure
•"L" leg uses 24" or 30" depending on
worksurface depth.

•1st tether 2" from desired edge of desk
location.
•2nd tether specing depends on width of
desk and types of attachment:
-Single desk: 6" less than overall width.
-Benching application, one end shared:
3" less than overall width of desk.
-Benching application, both end shared:
same as overall width of desk.
3. Attach understructure "A" onto
tethers using positions "B" (BEAM).
4. Level unit.
5. If you are installing a ‘cutout’ version
worksurface, you will need to install the felt
liner into the connect zone trough.
6. Install power and data components.
7. Install worksurface and level.

Benching - Mounted Parallel to
Beam Tethered to Storage
1. Attach leg to understructure.
•"L" leg uses 24" or 30" depending on
worksurface depth.
2. Attach tethers to beam.
•Sub-assemble tether "position B" and
shared plate center position.
•Lower shared tether 1 detent (1/2") to
account for plate.
•Attach 2nd and 3rd tethers depending on
application:
-Single desk: 6" less than overall width.
-Benching application, one end shared:
3" less than overall width of desk.
-Benching application, both end shared:
same as overall width of desk.
3. Slide storage unit up to beam.
•The back edge of the storage unit should be
flush with desired centerline.
4. Loosen set screw on the tether bracket
assemblies that install into the storage unit and
remove the upper ‘L’ bracket.
5. Attach plates & brackets to understructure.
•Understructure "A" and "30" to
support plate "F" (FLUSH).
•Understructure "B" and "C" to upper
‘L’ tether bracket "S" (STORAGE).
6. Attach the lower tether assemblies to storage.
•1st tether to be 8-1/2" from beam furthest edge.
•2nd tether to be 12" from 1st tether.
7. If you are installing a ‘cutout’ version worksurface, you
will need to install the felt liner into the connect zone trough.

worksurface with 90 degree driver.
NOTE: 90 degree driver must be used when
benching application consists of storage units
on both ends of desk.
