1. Safety-relevant information
Electrical voltage can cause electric shock.
Metal parts of the Partito Wall and its optional elements can become energised if live
cables and connections are damaged or the mains cable is defective.
Do not earth electrical devices to the desk frame or the optional elements.
Do not use defective cables or plug-in connectors; replace these without delay.
Have the manufacturer, the manufacturer's customer service department or
similarly qualified personnel replace a defective mains cable.

Risk of cable fire!
A cable fire hazard is associated with cable extensions or electrical appliances that
use a lot of energy.
Do not connect cable extensions or electrical appliances that use a lot of energy.
Risk of injury or damage!
The fastening screws could tear when lifting by the assembled Partito Wall.
Always take hold of the Partito Wall (and its accessories) at the underframe to
transport or move it.
Wall falling on obstacles/objects
Risk of minor injuries or property damage!
Always comply with interlinking rules and do not tip over the wall.

3. Intended use
Intended use also includes following all instructions in the Quick Reference Guide.
The Partito Wall is designed exclusively to be used as office furniture for commercial purposes. Any other use, or use beyond the specified
intended use is considered to be improper use. Improper use of the product may result in dangers to life and limb as well as property damage.
For this reason, improper use is prohibited. In case of improper use, Steelcase assumes no liability for any damage that may occur and does not
guarantee that the components will function properly. Improper use includes:
■Use as a tabletop
■Use as a climbing aid
■Use for the attachment of items (such as clothing, etc.)
■Outdoor use
■Use in damp rooms
■
■This wall can be used by children 8 years of age and older, as well as by persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or
lack of experience and knowledge, if they are supervised, or have been instructed in the safe use of the wall, and understand the dangers
associated with use of the wall. Children are not allowed to play with the wall. Cleaning and user maintenance tasks must not be performed
by unsupervised children.

■4. Product description and operation
The Partito Wall product may only be used and operated when in a technically perfect condition and in compliance with the Quick Reference
Guide.
The Partito Wall can be set up in a wide variety of combinations; the fasteners listed below are used for this purpose:
■I-type interlinking: 1 x 180°; L-type interlinking: 1 x 90° or 1 x 120° or 1 x 135°; T-type interlinking: 2 x 90°; X-type interlinking: 4 x 90°;
■Y-type interlinking: 3 x 120°
It is not possible to connect walls of different frame thicknesses. Wall height transition
elements have to be used for connecting walls of varying heights. A support base has to be
mounted at the beginning and end of each configuration. Interlinking at a right angle is
considered to be a supporting measure.

■Various cable ducts of two different configurations can be selected for the Partito Wall:

■The Partito Wall can be arranged in combination with various accessories:
■1-rung or 5-rung Orga-Paneel panel which is being incorporated in the wall
■Shelf of melamine/real wood or TechTop (max. load: 1.4 kg / 100mm of width; maximum of one shelf per side possible)
■Magnetic board of steel plate with a height of 123mm (can be placed at any vertical position of the frame profile section)
■Support base (means of stabilisation of free-standing walls and as a finishing element)
The Orga-Paneel panel can only be used starting at a height of 1400mm and with a clearance of
the lower edge of the Orga-Paneel panel from the floor of 900mm. A shelf cannot be used in
conjunction with a horizontal cable duct. A shelf can only be used if the Partito Wall is
interlinked at a right angle.

Electrical system:
The CE mark is located on the optional multiple socket outlet. The multiple socket outlet
can be located on an adjoining desk or in a cable duct of the Partito Wall. Compliance with
the information under the section "Opening/Closing of cable duct" is required for
opening the cable duct.
Incoming and outgoing cables can be routed via the open side. This enables accommodating up to 8 cables of an 8-mm cross-section each. The
cables can also be routed from the vertical cable duct into the horizontal cable duct or vice versa. An appropriate section of the cable duct cover
can also be cut out as an option for a cable outlet.
Opening/Closing of cable duct Reading the product label:
The product label is located at the underside of the
Partito Wall feet where its information can be read.
To open and subsequently close the cable ducts proceed
as follows:
Unlock the 4 slides (marked in the figure) on the cable duct cover
Remove the cable duct cover
Attach the cable duct cover
Lock the 4 slides (marked in the figure) on the cable duct cover
5. Transport and assembly
Check the delivery contents:
After unpacking, check the product immediately for damage sustained during transportation and for completeness; inform the manufacturer of
any damage as soon as possible.

For assembling specific parts at the Partito Wall, please follow the attached assembly instructions.

Fabric surface walls: Use a suitable brush to gently clean the fabric surface at regular intervals.
Disposal:
Dismantling should only be realised by skilled and qualified personnel. Follow the steps below to dismantle and dispose of the Partito Wall
for good:
Remove any accessories/utensils from the wall.
Separate the resulting parts according to: - reusable components - material groups to be disposed of (plastics, etc.)
and return them to the recycling process. Compliance with all applicable regional regulations is required. Also follow the separate instructions for
disassembling / recycling.
7. Service and contact details
Delivery, installation, instruction
The manufacturer or the retailer usually delivers, assembles and sets up the Partito Wall.
The users are instructed in the operation of the device by the manufacturer or the retailer.
Repairs and spare parts
Original spare parts and accessories can be obtained from the manufacturer.

1. Sicherheitshinweise

Metallteile der Partito Wall und seiner optionalen Elemente oder des Zubehörs
können unter elektrischer Spannung stehen bei Schäden an stromführenden Kabeln
und Verbindungen sowie einer defekten Netzanschlussleitung.
Elektrische Geräte nicht an der Partito Wall oder an den optionalen Elementen
erden.
Defekte Kabel und Steckverbindungen nicht benutzen und diese umgehend
austauschen.
Defekte Netzanschlussleitung durch den Hersteller, seinen Kundendienst oder
einer ähnlich qualifizierten Fachkraft ersetzen lassen.

Beim Anheben der montierten Partito Wall können die Befestigungsschrauben reißen.
Beim Transport oder Verschieben der Partito Wall (+ dessen Zubehörs) diesen
ausschließlich am Untergestell anfassen.

Leichte Verletzungen und Sachschaden möglich!
Verkettungsregeln unbedingt beachten und Wand nicht umwerfen.

3. Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung
Zur bestimmungsgemäßen Verwendung gehört auch das Beachten aller Hinweise aus der
Kurzanleitung.
Der Partito Wall ist ausschließlich für den Einsatz als Büromöbel für den gewerblichen Einsatzbereich konzipiert. Eine andere oder
darüberhinausgehende Benutzung gilt als nicht bestimmungsgemäß. Bei bestimmungswidriger Verwendung des Produktes können sowohl
Gefahren für Leib und Leben als auch Sachbeschädigungen auftreten. Aus diesem Grunde ist eine bestimmungswidrige Verwendung untersagt.
Bei nicht bestimmungsgemäßer Verwendung übernimmt Steelcase keine Haftung für eventuell auftretende Schäden und keine Garantie für
einwandfreies und funktionsgemäßes Arbeiten der Komponenten. Mögliche bestimmungswidrige Verwendungen:
■Verwendung als Tischplatte
■Verwendung als Aufstiegshilfe
■Anbringen von Gegenständen (wie z.B. Bekleidung, usw.)
■Verwendung im Außenbereich
■Verwendung in Feuchträumen
Diese Wand kann von Kindern ab 8 Jahren und darüber sowie von Personen mit verringerten physischen, sensorischen oder mentalen
Fähigkeiten oder Mangel an Erfahrung und Wissen benutzt werden, wenn sie beaufsichtigt oder bezüglich des sicheren Gebrauchs der Wand
unterwiesen wurden und die daraus resultierenden Gefahren verstehen. Kinder dürfen nicht mit der Wand spielen. Reinigung und Benutzer-
Wartung dürfen nicht von Kindern ohne Beaufsichtigung durchgeführt werden.
4. Produktbeschreibung und Bedienung
Das Produkt Partito Wall darf nur in technisch einwandfreiem Zustand und unter Beachtung der Kurzanleitung benutzt und bedient werden.
Die Partito Wall kann in verschiedensten Kombinationen aufgestellt werden, hierzu stehen folgende Verbinder zur Verfügung:
■I-Verkettung: 1 x 180° ; L-Verkettung: 1 x 90° oder 1 x 120° oder 1 x 135° ; T-Verkettung: 2 x 90° ; X-Verkettung: 4 x 90° ;
Y-Verkettung: 3 x 120°
Verbinden von Wänden mit unterschiedlicher Rahmendicke ist nicht möglich. Verbinden von
Wänden mit unterschiedlichen Höhen ist nur über Höhenübergangselemente möglich. Es muss
unbedingt zur Stabilisierung am Anfang und Ende jeder Konfiguration ein Stützfuß montiert
werden. Winkelverkettungen zählen als abstützende Maßnahmen.

Stabilitätsregeln: Winkelverkettung
Für die Partito Wall können verschiedene Kabelkanäle in zwei verschiedenen Konfigurationen ausgewählt werden:
Horizontaler Kabelkanal Vertikaler Kabelkanal
Kabelkanal unter dem Tisch Kabelkanal über dem Tisch Vertikaler Kabelkanal, linearer Übergang 180°, seitliche Endkomponente
Die Partito Wall kann mit verschiedenem Zubehör kombiniert werden:
■Orga-Paneel 1- oder 5-sprossig welche in die Wand integriert wird
■Fachboden aus Melamin/Echtholz oder TechTop (max. Belastung: 1,4 kg / 100mm Breite ; max. ein Fachboden pro Seite möglich )
■Magnetboard Stahlblech mit 123mm Höhe (in der Höhe frei am Rahmenprofil positionierbar)
■Stützfuß (zur Stabilisierung von freistehenden Wänden und als Abschlusselement)
Das Orga-Paneel ist erst ab einer Höhe von 1400mm einsetzbar und der Abstand der Unterkante
des Orga-Paneel zum Boden beträgt 900mm. Der Fachboden ist nicht in Verbindung mit
horizontalem Kabelkanal möglich. Der Fachboden kann nur eingesetzt werden, wenn der Partito
Wall über eine Winkelverkettung verbunden ist.

Elektrisches System:
Die CE-Kennzeichnung befindet sich auf der optionalen Steckdosenleiste.
Die Steckdosenleiste kann sich auf dem angrenzenden Schreibtisch oder
in einem Kabelkanal der Partito Wall befinden. Zum öffnen des Kabelkanals
bitte den Punkt „Kabelkanal öffnen/schließen“ beachten.
Ein- und ausgehende Kabel können über die offene Seite geführt werden. Dadurch entsteht eine Kapazität für bis zu 8 Kabel mit jeweils 8mm
Durchmesser. Die Kabel können auch vom vertikalen Kabelkanal in den horizontalen Kabelkanal und umgekehrt verlegt werden. Optional kann
auch ein Ausschnitt als Kabelauslass in die Kabelkanalabdeckung gemacht werden.
Kabelkanal öffnen/schließen: Produkt-Label einsehen:
Das Produkt-Label befindet sich auf der
Unterseite der Partito Wall Füße und kann
dort eingesehen werden.
Zum öffnen und dem darauffolgendem schließen der Kabelkanäle wie folgt vorgehen:
Die 4x Schiebregler (markiert im Bild) an der Abdeckung des Kabelkanals entriegeln
Die Abdeckung des Kabelkanals entnehmen
Die Abdeckung an den Kabelkanal anbringen
Die 4x Schieberegler (markiert im Bild) an der Abdeckung des Kabelkanals verriegeln
5. Transport und Montage
Lieferung prüfen:
Nach dem Auspacken ist das Produkt sofort auf Transportschäden und auf Vollständigkeit zu überprüfen und ggf. ein Schaden dem Hersteller
schnellstmöglich zu melden.
