1. Safety-relevant information

3. Intended use
Intended use also includes following
all instructions in the Quick Reference Guide.
The Flex Acoustic Boundary product is designed exclusively for commercial use as office furniture or furniture for training facilities. Any other
use, or use beyond the specified intended use is considered improper use. Improper use of the product may result in risk to life and limb or
material damage. For this reason, improper use is prohibited. In case of improper use, Steelcase assumes no liability for any damage that may
occur and does not guarantee that the components will function properly. Improper use includes:
■Use as a tabletop
■Use as a climbing aid
■Attachment of other objects as whiteboards/screens or pinnable objects
■Outdoor use
■Use in damp rooms
■Use of the Flex Acoustic Boundary top panel (cover) for storage
This product can be used by children 8 years of age and older, and persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of
experience and knowledge, if they are supervised, or have been instructed in the safe use of the product, and understand the dangers
associated with use of the product. Children are not allowed to play with the product. Cleaning and user maintenance tasks must not be
performed by unsupervised children.
4. Product description
The movable Flex Acoustic Boundary product offers flexible arrangement options and acoustic privacy. It is perfectly suited to the
presentation of information in combination with whiteboards and screens.
Product parts:
- Cover made from PET
- Internal structure made of cardboard
- Product base consisting of melamine panels, metal frame, and 4 rotatable and lockable castors
- 8 supports (2 rotatable, plastic supports each side, and 2 fixed supports on each side at the lower edge)
The PET product cover is available in 2 colours
(light-grey or dark-grey).
5. Operation
The Flex Acoustic Boundary product may only be used and operated in a technically perfect condition and in compliance with the Quick User
Guide.
Users can move the product as needed and it can be used for storage of whiteboards, screens and pinnable objects.
Before attaching a whiteboard or screen, make sure that:
■Only whiteboards/screens specially made for use with the product can be used and only after it has been properly assembled and if it is in
a technically perfect condition.
6. Transport and assembly
Check the delivery contents:
After unpacking, check the product immediately for damage sustained during transportation and for completeness; inform the manufacturer of
any damage as soon as possible.

Cleaning:
Clean the plastic and aluminium surfaces regularly with a slightly damp cloth or a mild detergent.
Remove dirt regularly from the fabric surface with a suitable cleaning brush.
Disposal:
Dismantling should only be realised by skilled and qualified personnel. If you want to disassemble and dispose of the Flex Acoustic Boundary
product permanently, proceed as follows:
Remove all accessories/utensils from the product (whiteboard).
Separate the resulting parts according to: – reusable components – material groups to be disposed of (plastics, etc.)
and return them to the recycling process. Compliance with all applicable regional regulations is required. Also follow the separate instructions
for disassembling / recycling.
8. Service and Contact Details

The manufacturer or a specialist retailer usually delivers, assembles, and installs the Flex Acoustic Boundary product.

Zur
bestimmungsgemäßen Verwendung gehört auch das Beachten aller Hinweise aus der Kurzanleitung.
Der Flex Acoustic Boundary ist ausschließlich für den Einsatz als Büromöbel für den gewerblichen Einsatzbereich sowie in Lehreinrichtungen
konzipiert. Eine andere oder darüberhinausgehende Benutzung gilt als nicht bestimmungsgemäß. Bei bestimmungswidriger Verwendung des
Produktes können sowohl Gefahren für Leib und Leben als auch Sachbeschädigungen auftreten. Aus diesem Grunde ist eine
bestimmungswidrige Verwendung untersagt. Bei nicht bestimmungsgemäßer Verwendung übernimmt Steelcase keine Haftung für eventuell
auftretende Schäden und keine Garantie für einwandfreies und funktionsgemäßes Arbeiten der Komponenten. Mögliche bestimmungswidrige
Verwendungen:

Fähigkeiten oder Mangel an Erfahrung und Wissen benutzt werden, wenn sie beaufsichtigt oder bezüglich des sicheren Gebrauchs des
Produktes unterwiesen wurden und die daraus resultierenden Gefahren verstehen. Kinder dürfen nicht mit dem Produkt spielen. Reinigung und
Benutzer-Wartungen dürfen nicht von Kindern ohne Beaufsichtigung durchgeführt werden.
4. Produktbeschreibung
Der bewegliche Flex Acoustic Boundary bietet flexible Raumgliederungsoptionen und akustische Privatsphäre. In Kombination mit
Whiteboards und Screens eignet er sich ideal für die Darstellung von Informationen.
Produktbestandteile:
- Hülle aus PET
- Interner Aufbau aus Karton
- Produktbasis aus Melaminplatten und Metallrahmen sowie 4 drehbare und blockierbare Rollen
- 8 Auflagestützen (2x drehbare Auflagestützen je Seite aus Plastik und 2x fixierte Auflagestützen je Seite an der Unterkante)
Die PET Hülle des
Produkts ist in 2 verschiedenen Farben (Hell- oder Dunkelgrau) verfügbar.
5. Bedienung
Das Produkt Flex Acoustic Boundary darf nur in technisch einwandfreiem Zustand und unter Beachtung der Kurzanleitung benutzt und
bedient werden.
Das Produkt kann vom Benutzer nach Belieben verschoben und als Ablage für Whiteboards/Screens und für pinnbare Gegenstände verwendet
werden.
Bevor Sie ein Whiteboard/ Screen befestigen, stellen Sie Folgendes sicher:
■Es dürfen nur speziell für den Gebrauch angefertigte Whiteboards/Screens befestigt werden nachdem das Produkt ordnungsgemäß
montiert wurde und es sich in einem technisch einwandfreien Zustand befindet.
6. Transport und Montage
Lieferung prüfen:
Nach dem Auspacken ist das Produkt sofort auf Transportschäden und auf Vollständigkeit zu überprüfen und ggf. ein Schaden dem Hersteller
schnellstmöglich zu melden.

Reinigung:
Reinigen Sie alle Kunststoff - / Aluminiumoberflächen in regelmäßigen Abständen mit einem leicht feuchten Tuch oder milden
Reinigungsmitteln.
Die Stoffoberfläche regelmäßig mit einer geeigneten Reinigungsbürste von Schmutz befreien.
Entsorgung:
Die Demontage soll von hierzu qualifiziertem Fachpersonal durchgeführt werden. Soll der Flex Acoustic Boundary endgültig demontiert und
entsorgt werden, gehen Sie folgendermaßen vor:
Demontieren/Entfernen Sie am Produkt befindliche(s) Zubehör/Utensilien (Whiteboard).
Trennen Sie die entstehenden Teile nach: -wiederverwendbaren Bauteilen -zu entsorgenden Materialgruppen (Kunststoff, usw.).
und sorgen Sie für die Rückführung in den Wertstoffkreislauf. Beachten Sie alle diesbezüglich geltenden regionalen Vorschriften. Beachten Sie
für die Demontage auch die separate Demontage- / Recyclinganleitung.
8. Service und Kontaktdaten
Lieferung, Aufstellung, Einweisung
Der Flex Acoustic Boundary wird in der Regel vom Hersteller oder vom Fachhandel angeliefert, montiert und eingerichtet.
Die Benutzer werden durch den Hersteller bzw. durch den Fachhändler in die Bedienung eingewiesen.
Reparaturen und Ersatzteile
Originalersatzteile und Zubehör erhalten Sie über den Hersteller.

La Flex Acoustic Boundary est exclusivement conçue pour une utilisation professionnelle en tant que meuble de bureau et dans les
établissements scolaires. Une utilisation différente ou allant au-delà des conditions d’utilisation spécifiées est considérée comme non conforme.
Une utilisation non conforme de ce matériel peut mettre en danger la vie et la santé de l’utilisateur et provoquer des dommages matériels.
Toute utilisation non conforme est donc interdite. En cas d’utilisation non conforme, Steelcase décline toute responsabilité pour d’éventuels
dommages et n’assume aucune garantie quant au fonctionnement irréprochable et conforme des composants. Utilisations non conformes
possibles :
■Utilisation comme plateau
■Utilisation comme marchepied ou aide à l’ascension

Ce produit peut être utilisé par des enfants âgés de 8 ans ou plus et des personnes dont les capacités physiques, sensorielles ou mentales sont
réduites ou qui manquent d’expérience et de connaissance dans la mesure où elles sont placées sous la supervision d’une personne ou ont reçu
les directives nécessaires à l’utilisation en toute sécurité du produit et comprennent les risques en résultant. Il est interdit aux enfants de jouer
avec le produit. Le nettoyage et la maintenance à la charge de l’utilisateur ne doivent pas être réalisés par des enfants sans surveillance.
4. Description du produit
La Flex Acoustic Boundary mobile offre des options flexibles de délimitation de l’espace et une isolation phonique. En combinaison avec des
tableaux blancs et des écrans, elle constitue une solution idéale pour la présentation d’informations.
Composants du produit :
- Finition en PET
- Structure interne en carton
- Base du produit en panneaux de mélamine et châssis métallique ainsi que 4 roulettes orientables et blocables
- 8 supports d’appui (2 supports d’appui rotatifs en plastique de chaque côté et 2 supports d’appui fixes de chaque côté au niveau du bord
inférieur)
La finition en PET du produit est disponible en 2
coloris (gris clair ou gris foncé).
5. Utilisation
N’utiliser la Flex Acoustic Boundary que si celle-ci est en parfait état et dans le respect des recommandations données dans le guide
succinct.
Le produit peut librement être déplacé par l’utilisateur et employé comme support pour tableaux blancs / écrans et pour les objets épinglables.
Avant de fixer sur le tableau blanc / écran, contrôlez les points suivants :
■Seule la fixation de tableaux blancs / écrans spécialement conçus pour l’utilisation est autorisée après le montage correct du produit et à
condition que ce denier se trouve dans un état irréprochable du point de vue technique.
6. Transport et montage
Contrôle de la livraison :
Après le déballage, vérifier l’absence de dommage sur le matériel, l’exhaustivité de la livraison et, le cas échéant, signaler immédiatement tout
dommage au fabricant.

Nettoyage :
Nettoyez toutes les surfaces en plastique et en aluminium à intervalles réguliers à l’aide d’un chiffon légèrement humide ou de produits
nettoyants doux.
Régulièrement éliminer les impuretés de la surface en tissu à l’aide d’une brosse de nettoyage appropriée.
Mise au rebut :
Le démontage doit être effectué par du personnel spécialisé dûment qualifié à cet effet. Si la Flex Acoustic Boundary doit être démontée
définitivement puis mise au rebut, procédez comme suit :
Démontez / retirez les accessoires et ustensiles (tableau blanc) fixés sur le produit.
Triez les différents éléments par : -composants réutilisables -groupes de matériaux à mettre au rebut (plastique, etc.)
et déposez-les dans un point de collecte agréé pour le recyclage. Respectez toutes les réglementations régionales en vigueur à ce sujet. Pour le
démontage, observez également la notice de démontage / recyclage.
8. Service après-vente et coordonnées
Livraison, installation, initiation
La livraison, le montage et l’aménagement de la Flex Acoustic Boundary sont en général assurés par le fabricant ou un revendeur
spécialisé.
Les utilisateurs sont initiés à l’utilisation par le fabricant ou le revendeur spécialisé.

3. Uso adecuado
El uso adecuado también incluye el cumplimiento de todas las indicaciones del manual de instrucciones

El Flex Acoustic Boundary ha sido diseñado únicamente para su uso como mueble de oficina en un ámbito profesional así como en
instituciones de enseñanza. Cualquier uso que difiera o sobrepase los límites establecidos se considerará inadecuado. El uso inadecuado del
producto puede dar lugar a situaciones de peligro para la vida y la integridad física, así como provocar daños materiales. Por este motivo, está
prohibido utilizar el producto de cualquier forma que no sea adecuada. Si el producto no se utiliza de forma adecuada, Steelcase no asumirá
ninguna responsabilidad por los daños que puedan producirse ni proporcionará ninguna garantía en relación con el funcionamiento correcto y
adecuado de los componentes. Se considera uso inadecuado:
■Uso como placa de escritorio
■Uso como medio auxiliar de ascenso o a modo de peldaño

Este producto puede ser utilizado por niños a partir de los 8 años y personas con capacidades físicas, sensoriales o mentales reducidas o falta

El Flex Acoustic Boundary móvil ofrece opciones flexibles de organización del espacio y privacidad desde el punto de vista acústico. En
combinación con Whiteboards y Screens es perfecto para presentar información.

- Producto de placas de melamina y marcos de metal con 4 ruedas giratorias y bloqueables
- 8 patas de apoyo (2 patas de apoyo giratorias de plástico a cada lado y 2 patas de apoyo fijas a cada lado del borde inferior)
La funda de PET del producto está disponible en 2 colo

5. Utilización
El producto Flex Acoustic Boundary únicamente debe utilizarse en perfecto estado técnico y respetando siempre el manual de instrucciones
breve.
El usuario puede desplazar el producto a donde desee y utilizarlo a modo de base para Whiteboards/Screens y para objetos que puedan fijarse.
Antes de fijar una Whiteboard/Screen, asegúrese de lo siguiente:
■Solo pueden fijarse Whiteboards/Screens diseñadas específicamente para ello y una vez que el producto se haya montado correctamente y
se encuentre en perfecto estado técnico.
6. Transporte y montaje
Comprobación del volumen de suministro:
Después de desembalar el producto, se debe comprobar inmediatamente que no falte nada y que no se hayan producido daños durante el
transporte; si se detecta algún problema, debe avisarse al fabricante lo antes posible.

Limpieza:
Limpiar todas las superficies de plástico/aluminio en intervalos regulares con un paño húmedo o con agentes de limpieza suaves.

При монтаже обязательно работайте в защитных рукавицах.
Возможно сжатие движущимися колесиками и поворотными
фиксаторами, а также удары при столкновении с изделием и другими
людьми.
Возможно травмирование рук, ног и пальцев ног, а также других людей!
Передвигайте изделие осторожно и обращайте внимание на препятствия и
людей на пути движения!
После движения в целях безопасности зафиксируйте колесики.

3. Применение по назначению
Применение по назначению включает в себя также соблюдение всех указаний краткой инструкции.
Изделие Flex Acoustic Boundary предназначено исключительно для использования в качестве офисной мебели в производственной
сфере, а также для учебных организаций. Любое другое или выходящее за рамки этого использование считается использованием не по
назначению. При использовании изделия не по назначению может возникнуть опасность для жизни и произойти повреждение
имущества. По этой причине использование не по назначению запрещено. При применении изделия не по назначению фирма Steelcase
не несет ответственности за возникающие повреждения и не гарантирует безупречное и правильное функционирование компонентов.
Возможное использование не по назначению:
■Использование в качестве столешницы
■Использование в качестве подмостков или вспомогательного средства подъема
■Установка других предметов, кроме учебных досок, экранов, и прикалываемых булавками предметов
■Использование вне помещения
■Использование во влажных помещениях
■Укладывание предметов сверху (на крышке) Flex Acoustic Boundary
Детям 8 лет и старше, а также лицам с ограниченными физическими, сенсорными или умственными способностями и лицам,
обладающим недостаточным опытом и знаниями, разрешается пользоваться этим изделием только под присмотром других лиц или при
условии, что они были обучены безопасному обращению с изделием и осознают связанные с этим опасности. Детям запрещается
играть с изделием. Детям без присмотра запрещается осуществлять очистку и техобслуживание, выполняемое пользователем.
4. Описание изделия
Подвижная мебель Flex Acoustic Boundary обеспечивает гибкие возможности разделения помещений на зоны и отдельные области
звукоизоляции. В комбинации с учебными досками и экранами изделие является идеальным для отображения информации.
Составные части изделия:
- Оболочка из ПЭТ
- Внутренняя конструкция из картона
- Основа изделия из меламиновых плит и меламиновой рамы, а также 4 поворотных, фиксируемых колесика
- 8 опор (по 2 поворотные опоры на каждой стороне из пластика и по 2 фиксированные опоры на каждой стороне в ее нижней части)
PET оболочка изделий может быть двух различных цветов (светло
- и темно-серого).
5. Обслуживание
Изделие Flex Acoustic Boundary разрешается использовать и обслуживать только в технически безукоризненном состоянии и при
соблюдении краткой инструкции.
Пользователь может произвольно сдвигать изделие и использовать его в качестве опоры для учебных досок, экранов и прикалываемых
булавками предметов.
Перед креплением учебной доски или экрана убедитесь в том, что выполняется следующее требование:
■разрешается крепить только специально изготовленные учебные доски/экраны после надлежащего монтажа изделия, которое
должно находиться в технически безупречном состоянии.
6. Транспортировка и монтаж
Проверка поставки:
После извлечения из упаковки следует немедленно проверить изделие на отсутствие транспортных повреждений и комплектность
поставки и при необходимости как можно скорее сообщить о недостатках производителю.
Монтаж Flex Acoustic Boundary:
Осуществляйте монтаж Flex Acoustic Boundary в соответствии с приложенной инструкцией по монтажу.

Очистка:
Регулярно очищайте поверхности пластмассовых/алюминиевых частей изделия слегка увлажненной тряпкой или мягким моющим
средством.
Регулярно удаляйте подходящей щеткой для очистки грязь с тканевой поверхности.
Утилизация:
Демонтаж должен производить только квалифицированный персонал. Если Flex Acoustic Boundary необходимо окончательно
демонтировать и утилизовать, то поступайте следующим образом:
Демонтируйте/удалите принадлежности или предметы (учебную доску), имеющиеся на изделии.
Сортируйте части изделия на: -компоненты, пригодные для вторичного использования -утилизируемые группы материалов
(пластмасса и т. д.)
и обеспечьте передачу их на рециркуляцию. Соблюдайте при этом все соответствующие местные нормативные документы. Соблюдайте
при демонтаже также отдельную инструкцию по демонтажу / рисайклингу.

Изделие Flex Acoustic Boundary, как правило, поставляется, монтируется и регулируется изготовителем или специализированным
продавцом.
Производитель и/или специальный дилер проводит инструктаж пользователя по вопросам использования изделия.

Оригинальные запасные части и принадлежности вы можете получить у изготовителя.
